ANTI-ISA CROWD DISPERSED BY POLICE AT DATARAN MERDEKA

It has been reported that an Anti-ISA crowd who were holding a short candlelight vigil at Dataran Merdeka, who had defied an earlier ban, were dispersed by the police, who had using water cannon against them.

A detailed account of the situation is reported in http://mycardinalpoint.blogspot.com/ .

The government need to review its ISA Act since we are independent for almost more than 50 years and this sort of Act indirectly curbs the rakyat for voicing out their grievances.

At the same time, it sends a clear picture to the government that they need to address these grievances immediately before the rakyat take more drastic steps.
