At least 100 people were at this 'Special Prayer' conducted at the Lord Sri Murugan Temple, East Ham, London today. This prayer was dedicated for the Hindraf leaders who had voiced their concern about the Malaysian Indians been marginalised by the Malaysian society and who are currently held under the Internal Security Act (ISA) at the Kamunting Detention Centre.
This special prayer was conducted for the speedy release of these innocent people from detention.
It is also hoped that the Malaysian government will immediately implement a programme to uplift the Malaysian Indian community who have been neglected for such a long time.
