DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI SWORN-IN AS PRIME MINISTER BUT RAKYAT WANTS HIM TO RESIGN IMMEDIATELY

Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was sweared in as the Prime Minister of Malaysia after his coalition party, Barisan Nasional had obtained a slim majority.
It is widely reported that there are calls from the rakyat for the immediate resignation of Abdullah as the Prime Minister since he was responsible for the major defeat of the Barisan Nasional. Former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had also made a call that Abdullah should immediately resign.
The Opposition were able to capture five States, Penang, Kedah, Perak, Selangor and Kelantan. It is learned that a multi-racial composite of members will be formed in the Executive Council.
It is time for the Opposition to deliver what they have agreed to deliver. This will be the test-case for future victories or defeat if they are also found to be irresponsible.
