IR. MOHAMMAD NIZAR JAMALUDDIN TO BE SWORN IN AS NINETH MENTERI BESAR OF PERAK

Pasir Panjang State Assemblyman, Ir Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin of PAS would be sweared in as the nineth Menteri Besar of Perak at Istana Iskandariah, Kuala Kangsar, Perak within the next few days.
Although initially there were disagreements, the DAP and KeADILan unanimously agreed with the selection of the candidate made by the Ruler.
The swearing in ceremony which was scheduled at 4pm today was cancelled since KeADILan was dissatisfied with the allocation of Exco members from their party.
Ir Mohammad Nizar had pledged to care for all the races in Perak and hope to fulfill what had been promised while campaigning for this elections.
Out of the total of 59 Perak State seats, DAP controls 18 seats while PKR has seven and PAS six, making this a total of 31, while the remaining 28 seats are in the hands of BN.
