DEWAN RAKYAT SPEAKER TAN SRI PANDIKAR AMIN MULIA QUITS UMNO POSTIONS


Its been reported to avoid biasness, newly appointed Dewan Rakyat Speaker, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia will quit his UMNO positions and it is revealed that he has already tendered his resignation as the Umno division chief for Kota Marudu.

Tan Sri Pandikar Amin had told his Divisional members that in order to serve effectively as the Speaker for the Dewan Rakyat, and NOT the Speaker for UMNO, he would have to resign from holding any post in UMNO.

He has a strong point to justify his need to resign...

I hope he can be a role model for other UMNO leaders. Maybe better still if he stay as a neutral without any party.... Then it will really becoming a neutral speaker...
