ANTI-FUEL HIKE RALLY AT KELANA JAYA ATTRACTS MORE THAN 10,000 PEOPLE



Malaysiakini reported that there were more than 10,000 people at the Anti-Fuel Hike Rally at Kelana Jaya this evening. The protest was peaceful with minimal police supervision. People began gathering there as early in the morning with stall owners having a briskful business.


It was reported that Selangor Menteri Besar, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim had voiced while addressing the crowd that if the current Barisan Nasional government is unable to reduce the fuel price then they need to be replaced immediately. He commented that the Pakatan Rakyat, once it take control of the government will immediately reduce the price of fuel.

This rally is organised by the Coalition Against Inflation (Protes).

Laporan Malaysiakini mengenai “extreme profit” oleh IPP. Gas huge subsidi oleh petronas kepada IPP. Yes MPs (Both sides of the house), that is the way to go. Get the IPP agreements made public – After all the Malaysian gas resources should fairly be distributed to all Malaysians. Not just lob sided for few IPP tycoons.

We are also sick and "muak" of the person who the original IPP licenses was awarded to - What did you do with your billion RM of agency fees for selling the race?
