UPRISING OF MALAYSIAN INDIANS - AN UNTOLD EMOTIONAL STORY

A very SAD STORY now revealed, even then the Malaysian government dominated by the Malay majority Barisan Nasional government remains ignorant and just does not want to bother since they comprise less than 8 percent of the total population of Malaysia. These Indians were peace-loving people and had been the back-bone of the ruling BN party in thick and thin, giving their undivided vote in every general elections.

Now these situations have CHANGED. This videos UPRISING OF MALAYSIAN INDIANS will illustrate their frustration and anger towards their BN government.

PART 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BXpcRwiRFo

PART 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tAnywhcJNw

PART 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R10IauzmcFg

These videos were screened by SBS TV Dateline in Australia on 23 April 2008.

Very emotion and informative video to watch and ponder about.
DATUK SERI HISHAMMUDDIN TUN HUSSEIN APOLOGIES FOR KERIS WAVING INCIDENT

It is wide reported that Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein had expressed his 'apology' to the Malaysian rakyat especially to the non-malays for the keris waving incident at the UMNO Youth Delegates Conference three years ago and the speeches made in connection with it.

It seems that Datuk Seri Hishammuddin's admission at present tantamounts to have violated the Sedition Act and he should be arrested and punished accordingly.

The time has come for the current BN government to uphold justice and charge everyone who is connected with this sediction action made during the Assembly that had created 'unrest' among a section of the Malaysian rakyat.
DATUK SERI NAJIB TUN RAZAK MONITORING CROSS-OVER CLAIMS

It is reported today that Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy President of Barisan Nasional Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak indicating that they view the 'cross-over' claim from the Opposition, Pakatan Rakyat very seriously and are monitoring the claim very closely.

During the recent general elections, the Opposition party had denied the BN its majority and with the win of 140 to 82, the ruling BN which has been facing serious 'internal crisis' have to keep pleasing its component representatives to keep it in tact. But as usual, there may be defectors and these are the representatives that can create an unrest whereby the ruling government could be changed and they need to be monitored closely.

The Opposition on the other hand have voiced that they have received pledges that more than 30 BN elected representatives are prepared to 'cross-over' and if this event takes place then the Opposition will form the next government and it will be the first time in Malaysian history.

The BN seems of late to be honouring their 'delayed' election pledges which is a good sign that they are finally 'waken up' from their uncaring, ineffective, inefficient and corrupt attitude.

But whatever happens, we need to wait and see for the weeks to come whether the current government will be 'topple'.

FORMER MINISTER AND CURRENT MP OF ROMPIN OUTRAGE MODESTY OF FEMALE PROMOTER

Former Science and Technology Minister and current Member of Parliament for Rompin Datuk Seri Dr Jamaluddin Jarjis had recently been accused of fondling and manhandling a 30-year-old female promoter at a nightclub in a five-star hotel in Kuala Lumpur and a police report had be lodged and the police have classified the offence under Section 354 of the Penal Code, which carried imprisonment of up to 10 years or fine or whipping or with two of such punishments due to the seriousness of the offence. Dr Jamaluddin was reported to have been drunk, which is considered 'haram' since he is a Muslim. Dr Jamaluddin had left for overseas in an attempt to avoid much publicity and also to find ways to settle this matter.

Dr Jamaluddin had previously been involved in another controversy while on a working visit to the United States when he was a Cabinet Minister and while meeting with Malaysian students there, it was reported that he had insulted two Malaysian Indian students, namely Sheena and her sister, Dr. Sheela Moorthy, who is currently living in the USA and supporting her sister’s education at CalyPoly, by saying that the students who are of darker skin colour was of lower class origin in the Malaysia which is a racist and derogatory remark. A formal complaint had been made to the relevant Ministers but nothing formal had been forthcoming.

It was reported today that the said female had intentions of withrawing her accusation through a lawyer by way of a statutory declaration. It need to be reminded that the police have to investigate the woman's report despite her withdrawal and if her allegations against the ex-minister, as set out in the police report, are true, then the police have no alternative but to take action while the Syariah Court would have to also investigate and punish him accordingly.

In an attempt to circumvent the issue, it was rumoured the said female had been paid off handsomely, and this act is a serious crime.

The Barisan Nasional should ensure that Dr Jamaluddin vacate his parliament seat immediately
to avoid further embarrassment due to the seriousness of the offences.

MAKKAL OSAI RESUMES PUBLICATION ON SATURDAY - PERMIT RENEWED

DATUK LEE KAH CHOON QUITS GERAKAN IN WAVE OF SHOW-CAUSE LETTER FOR BEING APPOINTED DIRECTOR BY THE OPPOSITION

Datuk Lee Kah Choon had tendered his resignation as a member of Gerakan in response to a show-cause letter sent to him by the Acting President of Gerakan Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon with regards to him accepting the offer from the Opposition, Pakatan Rakyat to be appointed as a Director of the Penang Development Corporation (PDC) and InvestPenang on Monday which seems to have violated the 'spirit of Barisan' as is termed by some Barisan Nasional leaders.

The Opposition had engaged his service since he has been found capable to serve which will benefit the rakyat on the whole.

Rather than accepting that this is an 'honour' for the Barisan Nasional that their member is considered for such an important position, they have gone to ridicule their member, which is very unbecoming of any institution.

These 'double standard' practiced by the ruling Barisan Nasional is becoming questionable. When the Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said had gone against the Prime Minister, UMNO President and BN President wishes on taking the post of Menteri Besar, the matter was just squashed like nothing had happen although the Prime Minister and BN government were seem to have been made a 'big fool'. This clearly demonstrates that UMNO can do anything and the other component parties in the BN are just 'slaves' and will need to obey the UMNO 'command'. When Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein or Khairy Jamaluddin had done things to create 'sensitiveness' against the non-malays, but no action was also taken and these were some of the reasons for the disastrous defeat of BN in the recent polls.

It seems that the time has come for the other parties in Barisan Nasional to evaluate their position in the BN since the 'so-called' head, UMNO seems to do what they like although the accepted principles were that each party is managed by their respective leadership and any matters arising will usual be discussed internally within the leadership of the BN to find an amicable and acceptable solution. The term 'spirit of Barisan' is just meant to assist UMNO to dominate the other component parties which in true sense is against the accepted BN norm.

With the departure of Datuk Lee Kah Choon, Gerakan had lost a very capable leader and there may be many others who will follow suite since they can no longer accept that serving the rakyat is a 'crime' as described by the ruling Barisan Nasional government.

This incident clearly demonstrate that the non-malays in the BN are no better than a 'pariah'.

ANTI-CORRUPTION AGENCY (ACA) TO BE TOTALLY INDEPENDENT BY YEAR END, SAYS PRIME MINISTER, DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi informed that the Anti-Corruption Agency will be totally independent by this year end and will report to Parliament directly, where it has to answer any query when raised. This is the part of the post-election reforms that he will undertake and which he has pledged to eradicate corruption at all levels during the 2004 election promise.

It seems for once the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah is taking a serious view about eradicating corruption and with this current statement it is hoped that the ACA will be the agency that can monitor and detect corrupt practices in the public sector, which according to the rakyat had tarnished the image of the country as one of the highly corrupted country in the world.

While addressing the first Asean Integrity Dialogue 2008 at Kuala Lumpur today, Datuk Seri Abdullah informed that his government will restructure the Anti-Corruption Agency to become a fully-fledged Malaysian Commission on Anti-Corruption and with this transformation it will enhance the effectiveness, transparency and public accountability of this new commission which will ensure a system of effective checks and balances which the rakyat have been demanding for so long while it will also include a new law to protect whistleblowers and witnesses.

TENG CHANG KHIM IS SELANGOR STATE SPEAKER WHILE HANIZA TAKHA IS DEPUTY SPEAKER

Teng Chang Khim has been picked as Selangor State Assembly Speaker after much speculation, making him the first non-Malay to hold the said post since he was overlooked in the State's 11 member cabinet recently.

The announcement was made by Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim today. Tan Sri Khalid informed that the Pakatan Rakyat-led government had created history by naming a woman as the Deputy Speaker. Taman Medan State Assemblywoman Haniza Takha was picked for the post. She is a first-time State Assemblyperson and is the Wanita PKR vice-chief and Selangor Wanita PKR chief.
OLYMPIC TORCH ARRRIVES IN KUALA LUMPUR UNDER TIGHT SECURITY

The Olympic flame arrived in Kuala Lumpur from Thailand today under very tight security after earlier demonstrations which might disrupt the April 21 leg by foreigners. The torch which was accompanied by Chinese security, arrived at KLIA around 2pm from Thailand by charter plane. The Beijing 2008 Games torch is on the Asian leg of its world tour, which has so far been largely trouble free, after embarrassing protests in Europe and the United States earlier this month.

Meanwhile, last Friday about 30 Falun Gong supporters demonstrated outside the Chinese Embassy while alleging that Beijing was using the Games as a reason to persecute the Falun Gong's practitioners.

Foreign Minister, Datuk Seri Rais Yatim informed that Malaysia's hosting of the torch relay reflected the nation's close bilateral ties with China with nearly a third of Malaysia's population is also ethnically Chinese and expected that the upcoming Olympic Games will not be politicised and he remains confident that the Olympics will be successfully held in August 2008 by China.

DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI - WILL HE SURVIVE?

Of late, it seems that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has realised that he will have to give his full attention in governing the country. There have been calls fom 'insiders' for him to resign immediately or take a break and hand over the responsibility to his Deputy, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, but he seems to combat these allegations and is now seen to be carrying out his duties without relying on anyone, including his son-in-law, Oxford scholar and Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin, who is one of the cause of the BN defeat in the recent polls. Its true, Datuk Seri Abdullah has a great task ahead with opposition from his own backyard, but if he keep to his promises and were to govern the country to the expectations of the multi-racial rakyat, in a long term he will survive. Recently, Opposition advisor, former Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had remarked that whatever allegation alleged against Datuk Seri Abdullah by former primier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and many other UMNO leaders were somewhat 'baseless' and would not concern the Opposition parties quest to take over the government in time to come.

If Datuk Seri Abdullah were to implement new policies to uplift all the communities and eradicate corruption, cronism and nepotism, he will gain the respect of the rakyat.

The recent unexpected turn-around over the judicial crisis of 1988 by offering a handshake monetary gift to the sacked judges, clearly shows that Datuk Seri Abdullah had finally awaken from his 'sleep' and is listening to the complaints of the rakyat. Although many had expected a formal apology from his BN government, Datuk Seri Abdullah had without offending the government provided a soft cushion both to the victims and the government which would not create any legal complications.

The next surprise most Malaysians are looking forward is the release of the innocent 5 Hindraf detainees from Kamunting. If this is done, it is for sure the Indian community will appreciate him. Datuk Seri Abdullah greatest failure was not caring to the demands of the Indian community, while having relied on an 'incompetent' Datuk Seri Samy Vellu and his MIC to deliver.

With rising inflation over the world and with rising petroleum prices, the government should ensure daily essential items are kept within rakyat means by subsidising them and to make the rakyat feel that this government has a caring attitude.

With the results of the disastrous defeat of his BN party in the recently concluded polls, and with various calls for his resignation, if Datuk Seri Abdullah were to concentrate and keep the rakyat happy, he will survive this struggle.

Will Datuk Seri Abdullah really care for the Malaysians?

P. WATHYAMOORTHY IN GENEVA TODAY TO ADDRESS THE UNITED NATIONS HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION ON THE PLIGHT OF MALAYSIAN INDIANS

HINDRAF leader P. Wathyamoorthy is in Geneva today to address the United Nations Human Rights Commission on the plights of the Malaysian Indians who have been deprived despite being the citizens of Malaysia.

It is expected that the current BN government will implement programmes to uplift the Indian community and also to immediately release the 5 HINDRAF detainees held under the ISA in Kamunting Detention Centre who had just voiced for the concern of their community.

Will the BN government look at the plight of their Indians?
PM DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI COMPENSATES JUDGES INVOLVED IN JUDICIAL CRISIS OF 1988 WITH EX-GRATIA PAYMENT AS COMPENSATION

The Malaysian Bar Council dinner today which was attended by former judges and officiated by the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi pave the way for total independence of the judiciary.

Since there is still much talks about the judicial crisis of 1988 in the minds of Malaysians, the Prime Minister spoke out about the event and he concluded that several measures to reform the judiciary are planned while paying tribute to the six Supreme Court judges who were sacked in 1988 which he described as a legacy that still haunted our country.

The Prime Minister further mentioned that an goodwill ex-gratia payments to the six sacked judges and their surviving families as recognition of their contribution for their commitment towards upholding justice and to acknowledge the pain and loss they have endured for so long.

Although short of an apology, this ex-gratia payment would not compensate the pain and suffering endured by the said judges, but does indicate the BN government is actually concern of the matter and does not want it to prolong any further.

It is hoped that with this function, the judiciary will move ahead and uphold its justice.

POLICE RECORD STATEMENT FROM PKR OFFICIALS ON 'BLACK 14' GATHERING ON MONDAY

Parti KeADILan Rakyat (PKR) members identified by Police to give statement with regards to the gathering on Monday night now termed 'Black 14' have been done today although initially it was reported that the statement would have to be recorded at the Selangor Menteri Besar's office at Wisma SUK Shah Alam. The police after a compromise recorded the statement of Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim at his office at Wisma SUK while the statement of PKR President Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail dan Vice President Mohamed Azmin Ali was recorded at the Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Selangor.

It is really surprising that a private affair in a private ground has become an illegal gathering and requires a police permit and in the abuse of the term 'national security'.

The time has come for the rakyat to demand an explanation from the police for going beyond their duty of responsibility and not to be the 'dogs' of the ruling government, who now fear that with that much of publicity, they will be replaced or toppled.

Its time for the Opposition to take control of the government NOW and to take the police to task.

Malaysians are fed-up with the misuse of power by the police. Time to have a revamp of their authority and make them more accountable to the rakyat and NOT to the ruling government.

Its reported that UMNO Negeri Selangor is demanding the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

The State UMNO wants Datuk Seri Abdullah to give way to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak immediately.

UMNO seems to be faced with a 'political tsunami' after the disastrous defeat of the Barisan Nasional at the March 8 general elections and feel that Datuk Seri Abdullah need to take responsibility and resign.

10,000 PEOPLE THRONG DATUK SERI ANWAR IBRAHIM'S GATHERING TO CELEBRATE THE EXPIRY OF THE 5 YEAR BAN IN CONTESTING ANY ELECTIONS

More than 10,000 people witnessed Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's celebration on the expiry of 5 year ban in contesting in any elections at Sultan Sulaiman Club at Kuala Lumpur tonight.

Datuk Seri Anwar was quoted as saying that Pakatan Rakyat is just waiting to form the next federal government and they have managed to secure enough elected representatives to do so. An announcement would be made soon. Datuk Seri Anwar further mentioned that this cross-over representatives had done it on their own free will and not by accepting any monetary value.

Police mobilised a big crew with water canons and at about 10.30pm Datuk Seri Anwar was demanded to end his gathering. The crowd peacefully dispersed with no reports of any incident.

It is expected that Datuk Seri Anwar will contest in a parliament seat very soon so that he will command greater respect if he is made the Prime Minister.

The time has come for the current ruling Barisan Nasional to implement policies for the benefit of the rakyat on the whole and ensure corrupt is wipe out, failing which the BN government will be topple within the next few weeks.

At last, Datuk Seri Anwar is FREE!!!!!!

PRIME MINISTER DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI ADMITS FAILURE AND DEMANDED TO MAKE WAY FOR SUCCESSOR

Its been widely reported today that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi had finally admitted that he was the cause of the disastrous defeat of the Barisan Nasional and UMNO in the recently concluded general elections held on March 8, 2008 which saw the Opposition party having gained control of at least 5 States and have denied the Barisan Nasional its 2/3 majority in parliament for the first time in Malaysian history. It seems to reveal that the main cause of this defeat is mainly due to the misjudgement of his son-in-law, Khairy Jamaluddin, an Oxford scholar, who had been the most influential figure in Datuk Seri Abdullah decision making.

Although Datuk Seri Abdullah had made this fact known, Barisan Nasional and UMNO wants him to plan a successor immediately so that BN/UMNO can begin to chart a strategy to regain the power that was once in their hands.

There are also calls from certain sector for the immediate resignation of Datuk Seri Abdullah.

But Datuk Seri Abdullah had commented he felt responsible for making the best efforts to rehabilitate BN and UMNO.

Looking at the scenario, will Datuk Seri Abdullah last?

BARISAN NASIONAL GOVERNMENT WILL NEVER APOLOGISE TO TUN SALLEH ABAS OVER HIS SACKING IN 1988

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi informed that the Barisan Nasional government will not apologise to Tun Salleh Abas over the sacking of him in 1988 which saw the commencement of the judicial crisis in our country, which until today remains unresolved.

However the Prime Minister informed that the government would formulate a way to reinstate the status of Tun Salleh Abas as a former top judiciary officer in our country which until today had been deprived. It is been noted that Tun Salleh Abas is receiving the pension of the Solicitor-General position which he held.

It seems that the BN government will never ever admit their failure since it will give room for the floodgates to be open for disputes.

PREVIOUS BARISAN NASIONAL GOVERNMENT OKEYED PIG PROJECT IN SELANGOR ON JANUARY 30,2008.

Menteri Besar Selangor, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has reiterated that it was the previous State government of the Barisan Nasional that approved the centralised pig farming project in Ladang Tumbuk, Mukim Batu in Kuala Langat, Selangor while the records showed that approval was given to acquire 136.4ha for the project under Section 3 (1) (a) of the Land Acquisition Act and the decision was made at an Executive Council Meeting chaired by former Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo on January 30,2008 where it was also decided that the cost of the acquisition would be borne by a private company and the proceeds channelled to the Selangor State Economic Planning Unit.

It seems that the Selangor rakyat are unhappy with this project but had failed to realise that it was BN that approved them to please the chinese population in Selangor.

It may be in the best interest of Pakatan Rakyat to display the original Exco meeting minutes to the rakyat so that they will not have doubt as to whom they need to point their fingers to.

Another uncaring and corrupt administration of the BN been uncovered.

FREEDOM AT LAST - BLACK 14 - 14 APRIL 2008

All are welcome to BLACK 14, the day freedom is restored.

The time is near for the demise of the uncaring, ineffective, inefficient and corrupt BARISAN NASIONAL government, and the awakening of the new dawn era with DATUK SERI ANWAR IBRAHIM, who will head our government with Pakatan Rakyat and will finally UNITE our multi-racial Malaysians with peace, harmony and prosperity.
FOUR GUNMEN FLED WITH RM3.5MILLION AT KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KLIA)

Four gunmen opened fire on two moneychangers and their bodyguard before escaping with almost S$1.5 million (about RM3.5 million) outside the Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 7.50pm today. The shootout lasted five minutes and left five people injured. The injured were two moneychangers, their armed guard, off-duty policeman Lance Corporal and a Nepalese contract worker.
PRIME MINISTER DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI FORCED TO TAKE HOLIDAY TO 'COOL' THE ANGER OF THE RAKYAT

UMNO members are seeking Prime Minister and UMNO/BN President to take a holiday so that the UMNO members could 'cool' down their anger on his disastrous defeat at the recently concluded general election which saw a fall of 5 States to the Opposition and having denied the 2/3 majority in parliament.

This call had been made by UMNO Johor and it has been proposed that during the interim, his deputy, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will act as Prime Minister.

It is also been noted that if Datuk Seri Abdullah fails to abide, UMNO members will commence a road show to demand for his exit.

Datuk Seri Abdullah had been branded 'weak' and 'incapable' and had always relied on his son-in-law, Khairy Jamaluddin for advice on all matters to most extend, without prior Khairy's approval, the matter would be scrapped or ignored.

It seems the greatest failure of Datuk Seri Abdullah is relying on Khairy Jamaluddin, an Oxford scholar, who as of this date is incompetent since he is the one who had requested Datuk Seri Abdullah to call for the general election on March 8, 2008 when there was so much of political and social turmoil prevailing around and had under-estimated the feelings of the rakyat against the Barisan Nasional.

It would be best for Datuk Seri Abdullah to take this holiday and plan his future.

Will Datuk Seri Abdullah follow the wishes of the majority?

BARISAN NASIONAL TO WREST PERAK STATE FROM OPPOSITION IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS, CLAIMS TAN SRI MUHAMMAD MUHD TAIB

Tan Sri Dato' Muhammad bin Muhd Taib claims that within a couple of months, he predicts that the Barisan Nasional will be able to wrest the Perak State government from the Opposition. Tan Sri Muhammad Muhd Taib made this claim while meeting the Chiefs of UMNO divisions in Perak and officers of KEMAS Perak last Sunday at Sungai Siput.

Will BN be able to do so with so much of internal trouble?

MCA MEMBERS WANT ITS PRESIDENT, DATUK SERI ONG KA TING TO QUIT

The Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) is now faced with a 'leadership tsunami' after the disastrous defeat of most of their candidates in the recently concluded general elections on March 8 due to the Malaysian rakyat branding the BN leadership as uncaring, ineffective, inefficient and corrupt.

It seems that a certain group of active members have issued an ultimatum to MCA President Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting to resign or face a political turmoil with a nationwide road show which will eventually make him to resign at the expenses of a weakening MCA party.

The reasons mentioned were that he had decided the list of election candidates on his own, without consulting or listening to other party members under the pretext of rejuvenation, which saw the party fielding over 50 per cent with new candidates.

If Datuk Seri Ong does not resign, it is expected that more than 30% of its active members will resign and some elected representatives will cross-over to the Opposition parties making BN to lose control of governing the country.

Can MCA or BN afford this?
PM DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI NEED TO RESIGN IMMEDIATELY

Momentum has been put on top gear with a nationwide road show to demand the immediate resignation of Prime Minister, Chairman of Barisan Nasional and President of UMNO Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi for being considered 'too weak' and 'incapable' to lead the present government in lieu of the disastrous defeat at the March 8 polls. PM Datuk Seri Abdullah had yesterday blamed internal saboteurs for the defeat but members of UMNO are not convinced since he is unable to substantiate his claim and this fact has been confirmed by his Deputy, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak earlier in the day.

Umno Pusat Bandar Taman Cempaka branch chairman Syed Saifuddin Syed Herman, who was previously a Selangor State Exco had mooted this idea of the nationwide road show after discussions with former Kedah Menteri Besar Tan Sri Sanusi Junid and several other Umno leaders from Selangor and the Federal Territory. A forum held yesterday which was organised by Syed Saifuddin attracted 1,200 participants and the lead speaker was former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who also expressed that Datuk Seri Abdullah will have to resign.

There was a proposal from Ummi Hafilda Ali, the woman involved in former deputy premier Anwar Ibrahim's corruption trial eight years ago called for a 100,000 gathering in Putrajaya to demand PM Datuk Seri Abdullah's resignation which was well received by the audience.

With this mounting pressure, will PM Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi resign?

INTERNAL SABOTAGE THE MAIN REASON FOR DISASTROUS ELECTION DEFEAT, SAYS PM & UMNO PRESIDENT DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI

UMNO President and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi claimed that internal sabotage was the main cause of the disastrous defeat of the Barisan Nasional at the recently concluded general elections. Datuk Seri Abdullah was speaking at a special UMNO State Liason chiefs meeting at Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur today which was attended by more than 1,000 members.

Datuk Seri Abdullah criticised Tun Dr Mahathir for demanding his resignation and making accusations that he is 'weak' and ineffective. Datuk Seri Abdullah commented that during Tun Dr Mahathir's tenure he had curb freedom of speech and press, which were the fundamental pillars of justice while there were corruption, cronism and nepotism during his tenure too. Tun Dr Mahathir's tenure had also created a non-confidence by the rakyat due to the interference on the independence of the judiciary.

Just because I (Datuk Seri Abdullah) keep silent, does not mean I am weak or incapable. Datuk Seri Abdullah informed that he had a moral obligation for every community in Malaysia and had to implement or carried out policies and projects of the Barisan Nasional government now and previously.

Datuk Seri Abdullah commented that the rakyat have to be strong and give their full trust and confidence to the present leadership so that they could implement policies that would benefit the rakyat in the long term.

Meanwhile, it was also noted that the question and answer sessions which was supposed to be held was suppressed to avoid further embarrassment on Datuk Seri Abdullah by certain quarters.

PM DATUK SERI ABDULLAH TO MEET UMNO STATE CHIEFs AND INCLUDING YOUTH, LADIES AND PUTERI LEADERS TOMORROW TO CHART A NEW COURSE OF ACTION

Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is expected to meet all the State UMNO Chiefs, including youth, ladies and puteri leaders tomorrow at Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur, in an attempt to show the rakyat that he still commands the confidence of the majority since there are rumours that he is lossing the confidence of the rakyat and is forced to resign.

It was reported that the meeting is called to discuss the developments that have been planned as a result of the disastrous defeat by the BN in the recently concluded general election.

Insiders reveal that PM Datuk Seri Abdullah is facing an uphill task to keep himself in power as Prime Minister and President of UMNO. Recent reports demanding PM Datuk Seri Abdullah resignation by many quarters, including former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad since he had been deemed 'weak' and incapable leader to lead the government and UMNO any further.

In the meanwhile, there is a report that at least 30 elected representatives (at this moment) from Barisan Nasional are expected to 'cross-over' to the Opposition in a couple of days.

But whatever happens, it is very clear that the present Barisan Nasional government is weak and is facing a 'political tsunami' which if no real and concerted effort to improve the current unstable situation is not undertaken immediately will create a situation that this government will be toppled.

GUA MUSANG UMNO EGM TODAY - WE NEED A CHANGE

At the Gua Musang Extra-Ordinary General Meeting today which was attended by at least 3,000 UMNO members, its Chairman, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, who was once a Finance Minister, hit hard against the UMNO leadership for being uncaring, ineffective, inefficient and corrupt. Tengku Razaleigh or Ku Li as he is well-known, also criticised UMNO President and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's son-in-law, Khairy Jamaluddin for being the main cause of the defeat of UMNO and BN coalitions at the recently concluded general elections on 8 March 2008. He commented that being a Oxford or Harvard scholars does not show that they have the Malay spirit with them. He further informed that certain actions made by UMNO leaders had hurt the non-bumiputra Malaysians which should never have happen since we have lived in peace and harmony for such a long time while respected one another.

To have a change, we need to change the UMNO leadership now or face a disastrous defeat in the next polls.

The EGM was attended by 360 delegates from 116 branches in Gua Musang.

Ku Li further informed that his proposed May Extra-Ordinary General Assembly should be held so that we could discuss our weaknesses and find ways to amend them, which need to be done immediately.

Meanwhile, it was reported today that UMNO Pahang has requested the UMNO leadership to resign making way for a new and capable leadership to administer the party. The call was made by its Secretary Datuk Ahmad Tajuddin Sulaiman.

UMNO is now faced with a TSUNAMI as predicted by many.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad spoke this morning in Petaling Jaya to a crowd of 1,000 amused UMNO party supporters, at a post-election forum to discuss on the election results of the recently concluded general elections which was organised by pro-Mahathir Umno supporters’ group MyKMU.Net.

During this three-hour session, the three speakers, former Umno Selangor chief, Dr Mohd Khir Toyo, Umno Youth executive committee member, Mukhriz Mahathir and Johor Umno information chief, Dr Mohd Fuad Zarkashi, explained the disastrous defeat of UMNO and BN in the recently concluded general elections.

Tun Dr Mahathir had once again demanded the resignation of PM Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who should be responsible for having lost 4 crucial States to the Opposition for the first time in history since he has been deemed as a very 'weak' leader.

The crowd heard in detail the reasons for this disastrous defeat from every speaker.

Will PM Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi resign after this event?

PAKATAN RAKYAT OR PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE FORMED OFFICIALLY

The PAKATAN RAKYAT or People's Alliance was officially form today among the Opposition coalition parties, namely DAP, PKR and PAS. The respective parties will evaluate this proposal and get them officially approved by their members before final registration.

It has also invited other political parties to join them in their struggle to make Malaysia a progressive country with peace and harmony among the multi-racial society.

This was announced by PKR Adviser, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in the presence of DAP's Lim Kit Siang and PAS's Datuk Seri Haji Abdul Hadi Awang at a press conference a few minutes ago.

Hope with this new formation, they will be able to govern Malaysia with a caring, effective, efficient and corrupt- free administration once they have TOPPLED the current ruling Barisan Nasional, which is predicted not far away by 'buying over' their elected representatives to form an Opposition government, which will be the first time in Malaysian history.
