WILL ANWAR & SHABERY DEBATE TAKE PLACE?

Malaysiakini and various other medias including the sponsors of this debate, Agenda Daily are quite sceptical as to whether this important DEBATE on the hike of petroleum prices WILL TAKE PLACE, since Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had defied the police order under Section 111 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) to request him to report to the police today at 2pm to take a statement in respect of an alleged report of sodomy by Saiful.
The events that seem to have taken place seem to indicate that the Barisan Nasional is in FEAR of having this 'live' debate since it may show the rakyat on how this BN government had been managing our resources.
TOMORROW, we will know the TRUTH whether our BN government is RESPONSIBLE or NOT.

WAYTHAMOORTHY'S PASSPORT NOT REVOKED

Malaysiakini reported that Deputy Foreign Minister, Datuk Abdul Rahim Bakri that the Immigration Department did not revoke Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF) Chairperson P Waythamoorthy's passport although it had received an instruction to do so while the government with the assist of the British government had been monitoring his activities abroad although this was denied by the Deputy Minister at Parliament today. Waythamoorthy is currently in self-imposed exile in London.

Datuk Abdul Rahim informed that Waythamoorthy still holds a Malaysian passport overseas and can still utilise it.

It seem surprising that when a dissent group and if it does not constitute UMNOputras are treated like 'enemies' by the government. HINDRAF had raised the concern on the plights of the Indians since they are treated worst than third class citizens when they are citizens of Malaysia.

It time for the government to look into their plight and address the weakness failing which this BN government will lose its grip very soon since the Indians had always been very loyal supporters of the BN at every polls even when promises were unkept.

ANWAR REFUSES TO GO TO K.L. POLICE HQ DUE TO 'HARASSMENT'

Malaysiakini reported that PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had refused to go to the police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur to assist in the sodomy investigation because his family had been 'harassed and intimidated' by the police on Saturday and Sunday.

According to his lawyer, Sankara Nair the police had allegedly "harassed and intimidated" Datuk Seri Anwar’s staff and family while trying to serve an order under Section 111 of the Criminal Procedure Code yesterday although Datuk Seri Anwar had initial agreed to meet them at 2pm today at IPK Kuala Lumpur.

Lawyer Sankara Nair quoted that his client has duly protested this uncalled for behaviour of the police and have sent a letter indicating the same, to the police yesterday at 5pm.

It every one's guess what the police will do next.

ANWAR & SUPPORTERS BANNED BY COURT ORDER TO BE NEAR PARLIAMENT HOUSE

Malaysiakini reported that PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was today banned from going anywhere close to Parliament by a court order taken by the police.

Its reported that the court order obtained will allow the police to arrest on sight if Datuk Seri Anwar and his Opposition supporters are spotted within five kilometres of Parliament.

It seems that the Barisan Nasional is in FEAR of being TOPPLED since the no-confidence motion on the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi which if allowed by the Dewan Rakyat Speaker tomorrow, will show the real support this BN government is having. The Dewan Rakyat Speaker, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia is also in a tight spot since the real call comes from his home state, Sabah through SAPP who are unhappy in the way the illegal immigrant issue is been handled.

Tomorrow is D DAY. If the motion is rejected, the political situation will turn ugly soon since the rakyat are unhappy with the recent hike in petroleum prices which has affected their daily life although we are an oil producing country and the government is in the position to subsidies them if the government revenue were well managed. Due to CORRUPTION and MISMANAGEMENT, the present BN government is unable to look into the welfare of the rakyat on the whole.

Whatever happens, the rakyat need to GET RID of this 'useless and corrupted' Barisan Nasional government now, if they want a peaceful and happier days ahead.

TROUBLE BREWS IN MIC

Malaysiakini reported that MIC held its 62nd General Assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur this morning and was officiated by Prime Minister and Barisan Nasional President Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
Surprise to many, Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu announced that he will leave it to the grassroots to choose their next leader although during the previous election he had fully supported Datuk G Palanivel to be his deputy although Datuk S Subramaniam was the incumbent then.
MIC president Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu started on a stiff note saying that "grassroots should behave like grassroots", in apparent reference to the 'walk-out" of some delegates at a party dinner last night where Party Information chief and Deputy Minister Datuk M Saravanan, who is known to be one of the 'gangster leader' left the function hall early, after having stayed for only 15 minutes with his followers following him. Datuk Saravanan was cheesed off because former deputy president Datuk S Subramaniam was seated at the main table with other MIC leaders and prominent Indian businessmen while having no due respect for protocol.
Now it seems the 'gangsters' will start creating more trouble which will see the subsequent DEMISE of Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC).

PARLIAMENT HOUSE 'OUT OF BOUNDS' TO PUBLIC ON MONDAY

Malaysiakini reported that Parliament House will be out of bounds on Monday to the public and the Members of Parliament have been advised accordingly as quoted by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Mohd Nazri Abd Aziz.

Datuk Seri Nazri informed that irrespective of whether the notice of no-confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is accepted or rejected, a big demonstration will be held within or outside the parliament compound. Therefore it would be better for the MPs, irrespective of whether they were from the Opposition or the ruling BN coalition are not to bring guests to Parliament on Monday.

This is really unique. Parliament gains its power from the rakyat and the rakyat is barred on Monday.

Can anyone believe it. This 'useless and corrupted' BN government create rules and regulation to suit their agenda.

Its time for the rakyat to OVERTHROW these BN government so that the rakyat can have their FREEDOM.

EZAM GIVES 'WARNING' TO DATUK SERI ANWAR

It was reported that Ezam Mohd Noor had given a 'warning' to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim while partcipating at a gathering to discuss current issues by UMNO Shah Alam Division and also at an NGO "Alam Free Speech" at Seksyen 19 last night. Ezam was seen very angry while expressing that if Datuk Seri Anwar or Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail were to indicate that he(Ezam) is involved in a political conspiracy to topple the rise of Datuk Seri Anwar with the recent sodomy allegation on Datuk Seri Anwar, he(Ezam) would not hesitate to reveal everything he knows about Datuk Seri Anwar.

It is surprising that Ezam is threatening PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar just because he is now an UMNO member and he feels that he has immunity against speaking anything and from been prosecuted.

These politicians need to realise that the 'rakyat power' will soon evolve and all these threats and warnings will just land them in considerable trouble.

Politics is dirty and every Malaysian knows it and they know the extend politicians play around to show their 'supremacy.

Malaysians want a caring, accountable, capable and trustworthy government who can take them with great success to the next decade and NOT the current Barisan Nasional government which is uncaring, irresponsible, ineffective, inefficient and corrupt.

SAPP TO BACK OPPOSITION MOTION OF 'NO CONFIDENCE ON PM'

Malaysiakini reported that Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP), a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) will support the motion of NO CONFIDENCE ON THE PRIME MINISTER Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi by the Opposition in Parliament.

SAPP decision is unanimous that all its 2 Members of Parliament will vote for the no-confidence on PM since the BN government seem to be neglecting the needs of the Sabahans, who had given their undivided support in the recently concluded general elections in March 2008 which allowed the BN to regain control of the government.

Will BN EXPEL SAPP from the coalition?

DO INDIANS NEED MALAYSIAN INDIAN CONGRESS (MIC)?

Malaysiakini reported today that its one-day polls of 5,109 readers indicated that there is no suitable candidate to succeed the MIC leadership once the current President Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu steps down.

The main reason for the current situation is that Indians are basically fed-up with all their LIES and frequently not keeping up with their promises and treating them like 'pariahs'.

Many projects commenced by the MIC to uplift the Indians have failed due to poor leadership and only MIC officials should administer them when there are many qualified professionals capable of making them work effectively.

It may be time for the MIC to be DISSOLVED since they are really unable to make any DEMANDS to the Barisan Nasional leadership which is predominately held by UMNO who feel they are the supreme power and can do and decide anything when BN is suppose to be collective decision among its partners.

Every MIC leader is only interested in themselves, family and cronies and how can the Indian community SURVIVE.

Selfish, undedicated and non-cooperative MIC leaders are the main reasons for the DOWN-FALL of MIC and personal selection of MIC officials are the main reason for this scenario. Every MIC member should be made to select their candidates and not depend on delegates who could be bought by favours.

MIC is a gangster party and who wants to join. This has been clearly shown during the temple issues.

This is the outcome of the polls:

GOODBYE MIC.

ACA BEGINS INVESTIGATION ON IGP & AG

Malaysiakini reported that the Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) has began their investigation by recording statements from Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Attorney-General (AG) Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail in reference to a report made by former Deputy Prime Minister and PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim that they had fabricated evidence in former deputy premier Anwar Ibrahim's black eye incident while at the lock-in in the sodomy case some 10 years ago.
IGP Tan Sri Musa arrived at the ACA headquarters in Putrajaya at 8.20am and only left at around 1.05pm while AG Tan Sri Gani arrived at 9.50am and left at 11.05am.
Last Tuesday, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim lodged a police report against Tan Sri Musa and Tan Sri Gani for allegedly fabricating evidence in his trials 10 years ago. At that time, Tan Sri Musa was the investigating officer of the charges against Datuk Seri Anwar while AG Tan Sri Gani was the chief prosecutor.
When Anwar was arrested on Sept 20, 1999, he was brought to the national police headquarters in Bukit Aman where the former deputy premier was beaten by then IGP Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Noor, resulting in a black eye and injuries to other parts of his body which Tan Sri Rahim had admitted doing subsequently.
What ever their reasons, trying to cover-up is a SERIOUS CRIME and these government officers need to be PUNISHED.
Will the ACA deal with this FAIRLY?

DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI TO RESIGN IN JUNE 2010

Malaysiakini reported that Prime Minister and UMNO President Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced today that he will step-down or retire in June 2010 and will hand over to his deputy Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak which was made known to the Supreme Council and a special briefing involving Divisional leaders at Putra World Trade Centre this afternoon. Datuk Seri Abdullah informed that he had already briefed the UMNO Supreme Council of his decision and the grace period of 2 years were required to complete all his unfinished promises and projects.

Meanwhile, UMNO veteran leader Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah quoted that it was unconstitutional for such a hand-over and said that it was up to the delegates to decide. Tengku Razaleigh stated he will challenge Datuk Seri Abdullah for the president's post at the December 2008 UMNO polls.

MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR KINABATANGAN MADE OBSCENE GESTURE, BUT NO ACTION

Malaysiakini reported that Member of Parliament for Kinabatangan Bung Mokhtar Radin (Barisan Nasional) is said to have made an obscene gesture in the Dewan Rakyat today that was caught on the ‘live’ RTM 1television broadcast, but had categorical denied them.

But this obscene gesture went unnoticed on the big screen in the Dewan Rakyat, because the in-house cameras had not been focused on him.
However, RTM1 which captured the obscene gesture during the daily 30-minute ‘live’ telecast of the Question session, had refused copies of their visual of the alleged act to the journalists.
Surprising, no action had been taken against this Member of Parliament.
Just look at the DOUBLE STANDARDS.

His nephew, R Kumaresan

Malaysiakini reported that the missing private investigator P Balasubramaniam had contacted his nephew, R Kumaresan last night to say that he and his family were okay but he could not talk freely. He also refuse to state where he was.

From the conversation, it seems that there is a big cover-up and its time the authorities investigate this matter seriously. Its really surprising for an individual to change a statutory declaration within a day after having been summoned to the police station.

SOMETHING FISHY SEEM TO BE EXISTING.

SAPP SHELVES 'NO CONFIDENCE MOTION ON PM'

The Sabah Progressive Party's (SAPP) plans to table a motion of no confidence against Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has been shelved and the reason behind is that it did not want to be blamed if the country’s democracy was derailed through unconstitutional means, like an emergency, the SAPP’s MP for Tawau, Datuk Chua Soon Bui said today at Parliament House.

"The SAPP does not want to be made the scapegoat if there is emergency rule or any outcome that affect the public," Datuk Chua was quoted as saying while she met the Minister in the Prime Minister's department, Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz, and Dewan Rakyat Speaker, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia.
Datuk Chua claimed that it seems the goverment is appeared to be doing something about her party's main concern - illegal immigrants in Sabah."and feels that the people voice has been heard."

Datuk Chua also dismissed talk that she was leaving for the Pakatan Rakyat. Datuk Chua said "I am still in the BN."

UMNO'S SENDIWARA - BACK FIRES

Malaysiakini reported that International Trade and Industry Minister and UMNO Vice-President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has advised de facto PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to keep Malaysians out of his personal issue over the alleged police report of sodomy against him and not to confuse the rakyat and others.

It is really surprising that UMNO had started this sendiwara and since it has backfired, they want Malaysians to ignore them. These leaders need to realise that they are accountable for their actions to the rakyat.

With many incidences taking place and with so much of suspicion around as to who is involved, rather than to take steps like suspending and not voicing their opinion, UMNO leaders seem to attack the victims and Opposition without any care for the rule of law.

There are now reports against DPM Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan and AG Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail, and instead of suspending these officials immediately and allowing a fair and proper investigation to be conducted, these 'power people' seem to be using their positions to circumvent the situation to their advantage.

Its time UMNO and the government realise that Malaysians are not 'stupid' as they think and wake from their sleep and face the given problem the correct way.

If UMNO were to stop their SENDIWARA, I am sure these matters will not cause any problems to anyone. UMNO leaders need to understand that these people were once UMNO leaders and know how UMNO leaders manoeuvre a given situation to their advantage.

NEW PLANS SHOW INDIANS NOT MARGINALISED - IS THIS A JOKE

Malaysiakini reported that Datuk Dr Subramaniam, the Secretary-General of MIC and only sole Indian Cabinet member claiming that the new plans unveil on Tuesday by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak on a series of measures unveiled by the government recently to help the Indian community is a sign that the Indians were never marginalised.
The new plans cover several policies to help uplift the community’s opportunity in the fields of education, business and civil service.
The announcement was made by the deputy premier after chairing the Cabinet Meeting on Indian community which was attended by various government agencies and MIC top guns like party president Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu.
“As a responsible government, not only has it responded to the message (by voters), it also sent the message back to the community that ‘look here, we never intended to marginalise you’.”“We (government) have been helping (the community) and if there are issues now, we will continue to address them and we are sincere in wanting to address them,” said Datuk Dr Subramaniam during an interview at his ministerial office in Parliament earlier this week.
Datuk Dr Subramaniam described the outcome of the meeting as a “major achievement” for the MIC and praised the government for their commitment to address the Indian community’s problem.
Its surprising a first timer and sole Indian cabinet member praising when Datuk Seri SamyVellu for 22 years had failed to perform what he is praising about.
The Indians will always treat these statements as just 'empty talks' since many promises made for years were still unkept.
What is so different now. Just that now another MIC leader is bragging about it.
MIC need to realise the Indian community is fully aware that they are always unable to fulfill their obligations since they are just mere 'under-dogs' to UMNO. The Indian community can only progress and get themselves uplifted if a new and able government is in place. Maybe, BN may assist but these are only channel to MIC leaders and their families and their cronies.

PUTERA UMNO WANTS DATUK SERI ANWAR AND SAIFUL TO SWEAR ON THE AL-QURAN TO SHOW THEIR INNOCENCE

Malaysiakini reported that UMNO Putera had indicated that the best venue to know the truth is by swearing in the Al-Quran by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Saiful to show their innocence.

UMNO Putera Chairman, Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim, informed that everyone from PKR, PAS and even UMNO convene with the Perlis Mufti Asri Zainul Abidin, and to witness Datuk Seri Anwar and Saiful Bukhari Azlan swearing on the Al-Quran of their innocence.

Does UMNO think that by this manner, the matter can be resolved? Is it that simple to find who is lying and who is telling the truth.

NAJIB NEED TO 'GO'

Since there are numerous serious allegations against Datuk Seri Abdul Najib Tun Razak and his family it would be wise for the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to revamp his Cabinet immediately by removing Datuk Seri Najib completely from holding any ministerial post.
The current dispute has arisen with the emergence of the statutory declaration from private investigator, P Balasubramaniam although today certain facts affecting Datuk Seri Najib had been vaguely re-drafted. Whatever said, its time for Datuk Seri Najib to clear himself without holding any powerful 'political power' which could interfere with the smooth running of the police investigation.
It very clear that Datuk Seri Najib is 'involved' but he has repeatedly denied any act, knowledge or connection. This is hard to belief since 'evidence' proves otherwise.
Will PM Datuk Seri Abdullah remove Datuk Seri Najib completely so that a fair and proper investigation into the murder could be conducted.
The present political scenario is really embarrassing in the international world and the confidence of the government need to be restored - the only way - Datuk Seri Najib will have to go!!

PI 'FORCED' TO RETRACT CERTAIN CONTENTS OF HIS STATUTORY DECLARATION

Malaysiakini reports retraction of yesterday's statutory declaration by private investigator, P Balasubramaniam. Statutory declaration after statutory declaration is become a big 'joke' in our political and legal circle for a particular group to regain 'power'. It all started by MalaysiaToday blogger, Raja Petra Kamaruddin filing a SD to state that Rosmah Mansor was present at the site of the murder on that particular day as informed to him. Yesterday, private investigator, P Balasubramaniam who was engaged by Abdul Razak Baginda to deal with Altantuya in 2006 when she started ‘harassing' the former head of think-tank and a close confidant of DPM Datuk Seri Najib made a SD identifying that Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had a sexual relationship with Altantuya and that he was the one who had introduced Altantuya to Abdul Razak Baginda. Today the same private investigator has retracted certain statements claiming that he made them under 'duress'. Its becoming a 'BIG JOKE'.
It is now learned that after the press conference yesterday, private investigator P Balasubramaniam was summoned by the police to the Brickfields Police Station at about 4.45pm yesterday as reported by his yesterday's lawyer, Americk Singh Sidhu, who had dropped him at the police station. Since then, this lawyer has been replaced.
It sounds like 'police force' and 'political force' must have been the reason for certain important statements to be retracted.
The Malaysian political scene is currently facing a turmoil and any ill-effects will undermine its confidence.
It clearly shows that 'THERE IS MORE TRUTH TO BE UNCOVERED'. Its very clear that certain top politicians must be directly involved and this murder must at all cost be 'COVERED' to protect his political life.
Malaysians must be ready for the BIGGEST COVER-UP of the century unless we Malaysians have the conscience to UPHOLD NATURAL JUSTICE.

Prior to this, Datuk Seri Najib denied meeting him. WHAT A LIE!!!!

PM DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI CLAIMS EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL - IS IT FROM HIS SLEEP!

Malaysiakini reported that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was quoted as saying that 'everything is under control'. It was reported that Bursa Saham Kuala Lumpur was forced to close today due to some major IT problems. Furthermore, a new statutory declaration have emerged, this time by private investigator, P Balasubramaniam which implicated Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak in the Altantuya case had caused chaos to the national political scenario while there is accusations of rumours that Saiful Bukhari Azlan was a godson of his daughter-in-law's family.
PM Datuk Seri Abdullah during his press conference after the first meeting of Northern Corridor Implementation Authority in the Parliament building today mentioned that his government was in a stable condition and it was going to keep working to ensure security in the country.
"The government is in a stable condition... Please, don't get over-excited (with the rumours)."Please don't believe all these rumours. Never in my political life have I seen anything like this. There's a new rumour (emerging) everyday to make the public scared and worried. What's all this?"
Rather than tackling the rumours and problem, PM Datuk Seri Abdullah seem just talking about it.
The rakyat fears that 'he may be speaking while SLEEPING'.
It looks like the Barisan Nasional government is losing its grip and may be topple anytime now.

TOURISM SCANDAL BY DUBIOUS DEALS

Malaysiakini has reported today that Malaysians are faced with another scandal in the Tourism Ministry.

It is learned that two senior officials of a government-linked company have been implicated in a series of scams that have allegedly diverted millions of ringgit in tourism-development funds into private pockets.

The duo are key figures in Pempena Sdn Bhd, or the national tourism development company, which was set up in 1976 by Tourism Malaysia, an agency of the Tourism Ministry.

It has been revealed that they have:

pocketed commissions when refinancing luxury vehicles for a high-end tourist taxi service;

approved several contracts to RM2 companies supplying services for tourism-based projects;

over-stated the cost of creating an e-tourism portal by about RM5 million; and

bypassed the Pempena board of directors in ‘investing’ in a restaurant project in Melbourne.

Its reported that dissatisfied staff-members of Pempena had submitted a Memorandum dated March 24 to current Tourism Minister Dato Sri Azalina Othman, but no response have been received so far.

The Memorandum named Accountant Lim Khing Tai and Senior Business Development Manager Raja Norsan Raja Nasron as the main culprits behind the alleged scams.

It also revealed that Chief Executive Officer Razali Mohd Daud, who is also Deputy Director-General of Tourism Malaysia's promotions department, had done nothing despite having received the complaints.
SCANDALS...AFTER SCANDAL......WHO CARES....DUIT RAKYAT SAHAJA YANG HILANG. THIS SHOW HOW INCOMPETENT AND USELESS OUR BARISAN NASIONAL GOVERNMENT IS.

DATO' LIOW TIONG LAI CLAIMS UMNO IS 'ARROGANT & INSENSITIVE'

Malaysiakini reported today that Dato' Liow Tiong Lai, the MCA Youth Chairman and Minister of Health claims that UMNO is very 'arrogant and insensitive' with the feelings of non-malays, which was the main reason of the disastrous defeat of MCA candidates, as well as BN candidates in the recently concluded March 8 general elections.
UMNO will need to make changes in their attitude if not Barisan Nasional will be defeated in the next polls.
It seem surprising that Dato' Liow had expressed his displeasure but during the recent Barisan Nasional Supreme Council Meeting, MCA had expressed that they fully agree with UMNO and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's decision on SAPP. SAPP had voiced its concern on the illegal immigrant problem that was created by UMNO just for voting purposes by issuing MyKad to these illegal immigrants to vote for the Barisan Nasional/UMNO candidates. If the BN leader and Prime Minister is seen 'not so concern' then a vote of no confidence would be the best option to take and every component party should have stood by with this SAPP rather than agreeing with UMNO, who feel they are the supreme leaders of BN while in actual fact every component party has an equal standing.
Until and unless MCA or any other BN component party could 'stand-up' to UMNO, this double talk will never be accepted by the rakyat whether malays or non-malays. Even the malays are sidelined, its only the UMNOputras leaders and their cronies who are benefiting.
MCA can claim that they are second in line in the BN but if they do not exert their influence to change UMNO, its best for them to LEAVE the Barisan Nasional or join the Opposition. From the current view point, UMNO is so arrogant that they will NOT listen or care for anyone and, until and unless they are toppled and made powerless.
Its up to MCA to make up their mind - To serve the Chinese community or listen to UMNO?

The new Electricity tariff will take effect from today. Consumers have been adviced to be more prudent in their use of electrity. GOBIND SINGH DEO BACK TO PARLIAMENT AFTER APOLOGY

Gobind Singh Deo, Member of Parliament for Puchong who was suspended for 2 days by Dewan Rakyat Speaker, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia yesterday, has reappeared in Parliament today after making a personal apology to the Speaker not to repeat the similar incident.
MP Gobind was suspended from the Dewan Rakyat for two days following an exchange of words with Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia when the trouble started when the MP Gobind tried to bring up the matter of opposition stalwart Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim seeking refuge in the Turkish Embassy after allegedly receiving death threats while making the comment as he was asking Housing and Local Government Minister, Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan about the ministry's efforts to solve the abandoned housing problem since having a meeting he had with his constituents and how the problem of abandoned houses had eroded the people's confidence in the Barisan Nasional government.

ANWAR MAKES REPORT ON IGP AND AG

Malaysiakini has reported that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has made a police report against Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Attorney-General (AG) Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail for allegedly fabricating evidence in his sodomy trial about 10 years ago.

The report was made at the Selangor State Police headquarters in Shah Alam at about 2.50pm and was accompanied by his lawyer, Sankara Nair.

Datuk Seri Anwar had claimed that he had evidence implicating the Inspector-General of Police and Attorney-General for misconduct, while they had fabricated evidence in the sodomy case launched against him after his sacking from the government, when the Police Chief Musa was then the Investigating Officer of the charges against Anwar while AG Gani Patail was the Chief Prosecutor at that time.

The Police report made is as follows http://anwaribrahimblog.com/2008/07/01/laporan-polis-dsai-terhadap-musa-hassan-gani-patail-bm-english/

By virtue of the seriousness of this report, the government should actually SUSPEND and ARREST both these persons until the expiry of the investigations and final decision of the case in the court.

The laws of the country must be treated equally and fairly.
