CHURCH VANDALISING SUSPECTS KNOWN TO POLICE SAYS HOME MINISTER DATUK SERI HISHAMMUDDIN

Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein confirm today that the police have already identified the church vandalising suspects but refuse to state their names. It was also reported that certain blogsites had mentioned suspects who are connected with the church vandalising incident but Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin replied that the police would have to investigate them before any arrest or charge could be made.

If this is the case we can expect arrest and charge by the police within the next few day.

But what surprises most Malaysians is when reporters questioned the Deputy Inspector-General of Police this morning, while attending a briefing to foreign diplomats, about the 8th incident at Seremban, he flatly refuse by saying 'no such thing'.

But Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin confirms that there was a incident at Seremban this early morning but it was minor with the front door of the Church been charred.

Something seems not proper in the church vandalising incident and there are parties trying to distort correct information to the public.

The time has come for the police and Home Ministry to arrest and charge these suspect without any fear or favour.

CHURCH IN SEREMBAN, NEGERI SEMBILAN 'ATTACKED'

The latest Church to be vandalised after the controversial issue on the usage of 'Allah', the Sidang Injil Borneo Church with its front wooden door charred in the pre-dawn attack.

The Church which is situated only a kilometre away from the Seremban District Police Headquarters, have urged the Police to take a stern and serious view of safeguarding and protecting every religious place of worship.

It looks very clear that these arsonist will never stop unless the Police and the government were to use the Internal Security Act (ISA) on anyone caught for having created a sensitive situation in our multi-religious society.

Will the BN government use the ISA?

CHRISTIANS GATHER ON 13 JANUARY AT ASSUMPTION CHURCH PETALING JAYA

It has been reported that the Police have given a stern warning requesting the public from getting involved in a demonstration at Assumption Church at Petaling Jaya on 13 January 2010.

The Selangor State Chief Police Officer, Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar reminded the public that it would be an unlawful gathering and action would be taken according to the law. He pointed out that there were SMS messages been distributed demanding concern members of the public to gether to show their dissatisfaction at the government in resolving the crisis on the use of the term "Allah", which the Malaysian Muslim feel should be exclusively be use by Muslims only.

Surprise to many, it was further reported that neighbouring Indonesia which has the largest Muslim population in the World allow non-Muslims to use the term 'Allah' in preaching their religion. Many Muslim countries too allow non-Muslims to use the word to define God.

There are also reports that UMNO seems to be capitalising on this issue to get Malay support in Peninsula Malaysia and with the involvement of these political masters, this issue will not be easily resolved even after assurances from the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak.

POLICE SHOULD STEP UP SURVEILLANCE OF MOSQUE & CHURCHES

Since many more churches have been attacked by arson, the time has come for the Malaysian Police Force to show that they are the protectors of Malaysians and their properties to perform their duty to safeguard them.

Rather than just giving advice and staying stationed in fenced-up police stations, police personnel should be mobilised to make more frequent rounds to mosque and churches around their vicinity or place a round a clock policemen at mosque and churches to stop these arson menace.

With the involvement of the police and with the sight of police personnel will deter any further attacks of these religious institutions.

The time has come for the Malaysian Police Force to show their worth to the public since the public has alot of misgivings about the police force due to many recent controversial issues.

Will the Police take this 'golden' opportunity to show their worth?

PM DATUK SERI NAJIB 'BACKS' NATIONWIDE MUSLIMS PROTEST ON ALLAH TOMORROW

There are plans to hold a huge gathering nationwide after Friday prayers tomorrow afternoon by Muslims to protest against non-Muslims from using the term 'ALLAH' to describe their GOD.

It was reported that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak when asked after the launch of 1 MALAYSIA Clinic, that the government cannot 'stop' protest but if it becomes out of control then the Police could be called to disperse them.

Some quarters have described PM Datuk Seri Najib's above statement as being 'double-standard' since non-Muslims are banned from staging protest and were in all cases used tear gas and acidic water cannons with arrest and charge.

The Police and Home Ministry should immediately disallow anyone to protest since the Kuala Lumpur High Court has disallowed the Christians from using the term 'ALLAH' in their weekly newspaper Herald after an Appeal by the government yesterday until final disposal of the suit.

Religion is a very sensitive manner and since the term 'ALLAH' had been used by Christians for more than 400 years in Bahasa Melayu while almost all Muslim countries do allow non-Muslims to use Allah to describe God during their publication and/or during sermons.

Will the BN federal government ban any protest?

The Malaysian Chinese Association will not hold a fresh election now since the required requisite members of two-third members have not tendered their resignations.

MCA Deputy President Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek confirm this and did not rule out that the elections could be called in the near future. Out of 31 CC members only 13 have handed their undated resignation letters, short of 8 members.

Its seems that the Datuk Seri Liow Liong Lai's faction are going to be really unhappy since they are going to be 'slowly punished' for taking this bold stand to demand for fresh election and have failed.

The MCA crisis may enter another episode with Malaysians of Chinese origin having lost confidence and trust in them to safeguard their rights.

MENTRI BESAR NEGERI SEMBILAN ALLEGEDLY INVOLVED IN TRANSFERING RM10 MILLION TO LONDON

It is reported in Malaysiakini today that Negeri Sembilan PKR leaders led by Badrul Hisham Shaharin has accused Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan Datuk Seri Utama Haji Mohamad haji Hasan of siphoning out of the country a amount of almost RM10 Million to London sometime in 2008.

Badrul Hisham claims that he wrote to Datuk Seri Utuama Mohamad Hasan on 16 November 2008 to seek clarification on the allegations but nothing had been forthcoming until today. Badrul Hisham further claim that an official report was lodged at Commercial Crime Division at Bukit Aman on 3 December 2008 and he had contacted the Police three times to find out on the outcome of their investigations but nothing have also been forthcoming.

Badrul Hisham claims that today's demonstration is to prove a point that Datuk Seri Utama Mohamad Hasan is a 'traitor' to the people of Negeri Sembilan and need to be punished by whipping in public.

Meanwhile, Barisan Nasional leaders and the Police seem to remain silent on this issue.

The rakyat needs explanation as to how the Menteri Besar Negeri Sembilan Datuk Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Haji Hasan could accumulate such a huge sum within a short in office.

'ALLAH' RULING - VARIOUS MUSLIM GROUPS DEMAND FOR STRICT RULE THAT ONLY MUSLIM BE ALLOWED TO USE IT

With the recent decision by the Kuala Lumpur High Court from lifting the Malaysian Home Ministry ban on the use of word 'Allah' to describe 'God' in the Christian weekly publication, the Herald, Muslims group are strongly demanding the Barisan Nasional government to ban the use of the 'Allah' word by non-muslims.

It is now reported that the Prime Ministers' Department is expected to make an appeal to the Court to reimpose the ban until a more reasonable stand is arised at between the Muslim and Christian communities.

The Christian communities claim that they have been using this term for more than 400 years while in Sarawak it is very commonly used in Churches since the language used is Bahasa Malaysia.

The Muslim community feel threaten that there will be a abuse in the use of this term whereby creating a trife between Islam and Christianity.

Various UMNO and Malay link NGO's have express concern that the federal government need to intervene and resolve this matter since Malaysia practices a multi-racial, multi-cultural and multi religious concept.

There is also a strong call on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak to intervene into this matter and explain how it affects is 1 MALAYSIA concept which if really were to be implemented would create greater misunderstanding between the Muslim and Christian communities in Malaysia.

Every sensible Malaysian knows that the higher Courts would favour the exclusive use of the term 'Allah' by Malaysian Muslims only whereby disallowing non-Muslims from using this word despite their use for generations.

The best platform to settle this matter would be for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak to intervene and find an amicably solution.

The Christian and Muslim groups need to be warmed from discussing on this issue until a amicably solution is found by these leaders.

IS HULU SELANGOR PARLIAMENTARY SEAT GOING TO BE VACANT ?

There are strong speculations that the Hulu Selangor Parliamentary seat is going to be declared vacant paving the way for the first elections for the year 2010 since the PKR MP Datuk Dr Zainal Abidin Ahmad is reported to be seriously ill.

A survey around this parliamentary area seem to sense a election is about to take place with coffee-shop talks.

The Opposition leader and PKR leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is expected to make the announcement tonite although there are also reports that no such thing is about to take place.

THEFT OF FIGHTER JET ENGINES - IGP CLAIMS ONLY LOW-RANKING OFFICERS INVOLVED

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan claims that no top-ranking Royal Malaysian Air Force officer were involved in the theft of fighter jet engines case and those involved were low-ranking officers according to investigations by the Commercial Crime Investigation Department.

So far the police have detained three low ranking officers and investigations revealed that this case does not involve any top-ranking officer, The three officers are from the aviation engineering and servicing company hired by the government.

It is impossible to belief that top ranking officers are not involved or have no knowledge of these activities since it involves government aircraft.

Everyone involved directly or indirectly need to be punished since it involves public funds and Malaysians are seem to be a laughing stock of the world.

SUGAR COST 20 SEN MORE FROM TOMORROW

The Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism Ministry announced today that the price of Sugar will cost 20 sen more per kg effective tomorrow with the new retail price of RM1.65 in Peninsula Malaysia while RM1.75 in Sabah and Sarawak.

Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mohd Zain Mohd Dom stated the Government would also withdraw its subsidy on white bread from Friday and remove the commodity from the price control scheme.

CHRISTIANS CAN USE 'ALLAH'

The Kuala Lumpur High Court declared today that the Catholic Church could use the word 'ALLAH' to refer to the Christian God in its weekly paper, Herald.

This landmark decision by the Kuala Lumpur High Court lifts the Home Ministry's ban on the Herald from publishing the word which gives the 850,000 Catholics in Malaysia peace of mind.

KU LI - PETROLEUM REVENUE FROM PETRONAS ABUSED BY BN GOVERNMENT

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah who is also referred to as Ku Li, the founder of Petronas and former Finance Minister has claimed that Malaysia under the Barisan Nasional government had abused the huge revenue gained by pumping more than the agreed amount agreed upon during its formation.

The BN led federal government had been misusuing petronas revenue on wasted government projects which according to sources amount from RM100 Billion to RM500 Billion. It was noted that most of the wastage were during Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's tenures.

Furthermore, the Kelantan prince, claimed that Kelantan should rightfully be compensated for oil royalty irrespective of is within its shores or off-shore. The Kelantan State government is an Opposition government and the BN federal government seems to find way to cripple its administration by claiming that royalty payments are only on specific fields.

Will Petronas finally account to the rakyat on the amount wasted by these leaders?

STOLEN JET ENGINES - MALAYSIA A LAUGHING STOCK

With the revelation of the Malaysian Air Force jet-engines stolen two years ago clearly identify that the security system in the government is questionable and for the stolen engines to be 'exported' overseas clearly shows the poor administration of the government.

The rakyat need to be given a clear explanation as to how the engines were stolen and shipped out without the relevant authorities knowing about it.

The Defence Minister then is our current Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, who would have to give the rakyat a clear explanation as how a protected area as a Air Force could have their jet-engines be stolen and 'sold' overseas without anyone knowing about it.

To blame the lower ranks would just be a excuse.

Its time the leaders and top officials accept responsibility and face punishment.

Are the top officials and leaders prepared for this and to keep in line with the 1 MALAYSIA concept of accountability?

FORM ROYAL COMMISSION ON TUN DR MAHATHIR'S SQUANDERS

DAP leader and MP Lim Kit Siang today urged Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak should set up a royal commission of inquiry to determine if his mentor Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had 'burned' RM100 billion on grandiose projects and corruption during his 22-year reign as it is of national interest and importance.

Lim Kit Siang indicated that it will reflect on Datuk Seri Najib's constant commitment and assurance to 'combat corruption by his BN government to keep in line with his 1 MALAYSIA concept of a clean and able government.

Lim Kit Siang further dared cabinet ministers to step forward to support such a royal commission of inquiry after commenting on the book penned by former Asian Wall Street Journal managing editor Barry Wain, entitled ' Malaysian Maverick: Mahathir Mohamad in Turbulent Times'.

Lim Kit Siang said Tun Dr Mahathir should declare whether he would co-operate with such a commission of inquiry to prove that Wain is wrong in blaming him for the legacy of "wasting or burning up" RM100 billion in his long tenure as the fourth prime minister, which works up to an average of RM5 billion a year.

It seems quite clear that the former premier needs a lot of explaing to the rakyat since he brags that his 22 years administration is the most cleanest and outstanding. If there were elements of mass corruption the head or leader need to accept total punishment according to the laws of Malaysia.

Is Tun Dr Mahathir prepared for this?

NAZRI CLAIMS DR MAHATHIR IS 'FATHER OF ALL RACISM'

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the former premier, who ruled the nation for more than two decades before his retirement in 2003, was heralded as the 'Father of Modernisation'. Now he has been conferred with a new title by Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz.

According to him, the 84-year-old medical doctor turned politician is the 'father of all racism'.

Datuk Seri Nazri today continued with his verbal tirade against the former Umno president over the controversy surrounding the National Civics Bureau (BTN) programme.While the minister wanted a revamp of the curriculum, Tun Dr Mahathir defended it, leading Datuk Seri Nazri to accuse him of doublespeak and racism.

Yesterday, Tun Dr Mahathir retaliated by challenging Datuk Seri Nazri to resign from Umno, which the former president described as a racist organisation.

Dissatisfied, Datuk Seri Nazri fired a fresh round of attacks in the Parliament lobby this afternoon."He says I'm in a racist party so he confirms what I said about him. If he says I'm in a racist party, then he's the father of all racism... he was president of Umno for 22 years. "As ex-prime minister, he should give better suggestions. I feel sorry for him but I will continue (hitting out). Please do not think (I'm) being disrespectful but if he's free to comment about us, then he must accept the fact that he is open to criticism also," Datuk Seri Nazri had quoted. 'I learnt the craft from him'.

Reiterating that he meant no disrespect, Datuk Seri Nazri said Tun Dr Mahathir's supporters must understand that it is about democracy and free speech.

On a sarcastic note, the minister pointed out that he is merely employing the skills he had learnt from the former premier."In 1969, when he criticised Tunku Abdul Rahman, (was) that not disrespectful? He taught me (the art). If he does it, it is ok, but if we do it then it is disrespectful? He is my teacher," Datuk Seri Nazri claimed. Datuk Seri Nazri said he will also not give Tun Dr Mahathir the "pleasure" of seeing him resign from Umno. "I'm not stupid to fall into his trap," the minister said, adding that he was puzzled as to why Tun Dr Mahathir disliked him when it was the latter who appointed him.

"I didn't force him, I didn't put a gun to his head. He knows I'm a good minister and I have been a minister for three terms. Each time a new prime minister takes over, there are rumours that I will be dropped. I have been a minister for 10 years. I only serve the rakyat," Datuk Seri Nazri claimed.
