The Chairman of the National Fatwa Council, Datuk Dr Abdul Shukor Husin who had declared that yoga is haram (prohibited) in Islam and Muslims are banned from practising it without prior consent and approval from the Council of Rulers should be made accountable and his services terminated immediately.Imposing a ruling is a serious matter and no excuses could be entertained for his lack of responsibility and showing disrespect to the Rulers.
Since having a responsible position and having made a mockery of the situation in Malaysia and in the International world, its time we make responsible public servants accountable for their action.
Let's not sack him yet.
ReplyDeleteEveryone deserves to be heard and thus, I would like him to present the facts and data to support the yoga fatwa i.e has anyone become an apostate due to practising yoga?
If yes, then he has a point.
If no, then the National Fatwa Council is insulting Islam and Muslims.
