NEW YEAR - 2007 & NEW HOPES - WILL IT HAPPEN

Today is December 31st, 2006, the year 2006 is just about to fade away in hours and if one takes a look at the various incidence that had taken place over the year, it is really disheartening that Malaysia being rich in culture and resources, had been faced with mismanagement by the irresponsible ruling party, Barisan Nasional who has ruled this country for almost half a decade despite the trust and confidence entrusted by the Malaysian people. The Barisan Nasional government has been branded corrupt, irresponsible, selfish and uncaring towards the normal rakyat and seems just to care for only the UMNO leaders by offering various goodies to buy their undivided support. Its also seems that UMNO which leads the Barisan Nasional coalition only cares for the UMNOputras although fourteen (14) political parties constitute the Barisan Nasional.

The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, suppose to be 'Mr Clean' had failed to administer the country and had been described to be sleeping at his job (actually sleeping) and there is reports claiming that his family seems to be governing the country and NOT him. Various empty promises were made by him in the course of the year but until todate there has been nothing sighted or achieved.

The world is progressing at a rapid pace and the government if it wants to achieve its objectives need to atleast keep abreast with this rapid growth. Looking at the slow moving decision making and implementation, if our Prime Minister does not pull up his socks, we will be faced with much difficulties. The Prime Minister also need to address the UNITY aspect in much greater detail and find a way to bridge a united Malaysia, where our rakyat can live in peace and harmony.

The Prime Minister need to realise that the rakyat had already offered him the opportunity to displaying himself by governing the country with greater progress so that the rakyat on the whole could greatly benefit from these implementation. It is very common for the public to just find faults, but whatever said, it would be real food for thought for him to rectify his mistakes. It is common knowledge that not everyone could be satisfied but recent actions had only be concentrated on a certain group which is not in line with the Malaysian spirit. It is greatly expected that our Prime Minister, with the new year will have to gear up for greater challenges and make Malaysia a caring and progressive country by wiping out totally corruption, nepotism and cronyism which seems to be on a critical stage. If he is unable to perform them, he should graceful step aside and allow a more capable and able leader to lead the government.

It is hope that with the year 2007, Malaysians of all walks of life will live in peace and harmony, respecting each others beliefs and traditions.

Lastly, wishing all Malaysians, A VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007.

BRIBE CULTURE SEEMS TO SUFFICE AMONG MALAYSIANS

It is disheartening to learn that Malaysians who had always been know for their simple, helpful and courteous personality among one another had changed so drastically of late due to the bad influence cultivated by the Barisan Nasional politicians who had governed our country for almost fifty(50) years with corrupt, irresponsible, selfish and uncaring attitude.

The recent floods at Segamat and Kota Tinggi in Johor had demonstrated that army personnel who are paid by public funds had demanded payment for rescuing flood victims when it was their duty to perform for the country. It has been reported that there is a police report made to confirm this allegation. The Johor Royality had also indicated that she had received complaints that there was such claims made. But as usual, the government leaders will always dismiss these allegations as untrue.

The Deputy Prime Minister, who is also Defence Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Najib Tun Abd Razak had failed to addressed these allegations.

In order for fairness, a public investigation need to be commenced and the affected soldiers should be court martial.

An intensive briefing should immediately commence in the arm forces to educate the personnel on what is expected.

This clearly shows that the arms forces has many flaws that the ministry need to address in wave of incidents like C4 used on the Mongolian woman and now demanding a bribe for rescue.

If these sort of bad culture were to suffice any further, the national security of our country could also be undermined by bigger powers by bribing them.

WILL WE BE SAFE IN THEIR HANDS !!!!!!!

TOLL RATES RAISED EFFECTIVE 1ST JANUARY 2007

Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu announced this afternoon that the toll rates for certain highways would be increased effective 1st January 2007. The increases are Lebuhraya Damansara - Puchong by 60 sen, Lebuhraya Shah Alam by 70 sen, Lebuhraya Cheras - Kajang at Batu 9 and Batu 11, each by 30 sen, Lebuhraya KL - Karak by RM1, Bentong by 50 sen and Lebuhraya Koridor Guthrie by 40 sen. Datuk Seri Samy further informed that this increase in rates is inevitable and the rakyat need to live with it.

It seems that the Barisan Nasional government that rule our country does not care for the welfare of the rakyat. The rakyat have been facing rising cost and with this increament, prices of goods are expected to rise. In the meantime, UMNO only cares for its own members and had recently awarded each division RM3 Million to be shared by the divisions in the name of development projects. Now we have come to understand that this RM600 Million is public funds.

Its time for the people to take stock of the situation. It seems that as long as the Barisan Nasional rules our country, we can expect price hikes, since it is also know as BARANG NAIK(BN).

The only alternative for the rakyat is to stop using these highways. If the rakyat whole-heartedly boycott these highways, I am sure the highways concessionaires will immediately revert their rates, since their huge cost will force them to agree to the pressures of the rakyat.

Only if we stand united in this matter can we achieve victory. Will the rakyat stand united?

It is also time for the rakyat to change this Barisan Nasional government since they are uncaring, irresponsible, corrupt and have been mismanaging our country.

Time for the rakyat to ACT.

WHY ATTACK THE CHINESE COMMUNITY, UMNOPUTRA'S UNTOLD STORY

I felt the caption should have been why the malays should criticize the chinese so strongly during the recently concluded UMNO General Assembly, but I had to take into account the malays who are not UMNO members and those who were not present at the Assembly to know the actual reasons behind this outburst.

The green light for this outburst was given by UMNO President and Prime Minister himself, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the Pre-Council Meeting a day earlier. Delegates were told that the chinese community was trying to undermine the malay community by creating demands and the best thing would be to show the 'malay feelings' which will keep them in place. Delegates concentrated on attacking the chinese with fiery speeches which now has turn-out to be seditious in nature.

Speeches like 'will bathe in blood to uphold malay rights' were all endorsed by the UMNO Supreme Council, since speeches and speakers had to received their approval before doing so.

Since the speeches had turn out to be seditious in nature, while it was for the first time live telecasted, the damage done could not be undone. If there were no live telecast, a different version would have been made up. Now the whole rakyat knows and with this latest information, the chinese community would surely retaliate at the coming polls silently. The UMNOputras had failed to realise that the economy is controlled by the chinese and any conflict will badly affect the country. Many chinese have expressed their displeasure but as usual, UMNO will have to sweep this matter under the carpet since it was originated by them and need to support their members.

The Police had decided to investigate the matter since it had violated the Sedition Act, but UMNO had told them that since this is an internal matter they will carry out their own investigation and take appropriate action. Do you think they will do anything.....

It seems the chinese based parties in Barisan Nasional, mainly MCA and GERAKAN is faced with a big dilemma and have started a nationwide campaign to gauge their support. It is now learnt that the chinese are really unhappy and this is going to be very detrimental to these chinese based party, and the Barisan Nasional in general at the coming polls.

The UMNOputras have never learnt their lesson from the May 13 incident it seems. Or are they trying to create another incident so that they can claim further reliefs at the expense of the other races in Malaysia?

Only time will tell?

It will all depend on the voters at the next general elections.
