PALACE OF JUSTICE BECOMING 'KINGMAKERS'

The Judiciary which is based at the Palace of Justice at Putra Jaya seem to be interpreting the Federal Constitution as though they have not got the required education. A clear word ' cannot be questioned in any Court' could not be interpreted by the Learned Federal Court Judges. Surprise to many, every kindergarden children seem to understand these words much better.

What does this mean. Our judiciary is bias and for the ruling UMNO-led Barisan Nasional federal government. Once again the same epidemic ' listen to me or you will be put in cold storage' seem to be employed while these Federal Court Judges have no dignity and want to uphold justice.

The following article from retired Justice N.H. Chan gives a deeper inside on the present crisis in Perak http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/index.php/malaysia/24996-nh-chan-an-inconvenient-judge and how our Federal Court Judges have decided on this case when it so clear and precise, but twist and turned for the benefit of the UMNO-led Barisan Nasional and the Sultan of Perak.

If the judiciary does not repair this damage immediately, the repercussions are going to be enormous in years to come.

DR ZAMBRY WANTS TO SACK PERAK SPEAKER SIVAKUMAR

Its official that 'thief' Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir had instructed suspended State Assembly Secretary Abdullah Antong Sabri to issue a notice of motion that the Barisan Nasional is going to sack the Perak State Speaker V Sivakumar on 7 May 2009 when the purported State Assembly sitting is expected to be held with the consent of the 'senile' Sultan of Perak.

The motion was seconded by UMNO's elected representative for Sungai Rapat and State Exco Member Hamidah Othman, since UMNO led BN claims to have the majority by including the 3 Independents.

Another new crisis is brewing due to the grave error of the Sultan of Perak for not dissolving the State Assembly, while paving the way for a fresh State Elections to elect the new administration.

SWINE FLU - WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW

Today, everyone seem to be talking about the outbreak of the SWINE FLU which originated from Mexico, which according to latest reports seem to be spreading to many nations. Watch this video for more information: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rT2HWdPFqMg.

What is swine influenza?

It is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A strains of the influenza virus. It regularly causes high flu outbreaks in pigs but with low death rates. There are four main sub-types of the virus, but the most recent isolated influenza viruses from pigs have been H1N1 viruses.

How does it spread?

Swine flu viruses do not typically infect humans though they do occur through close proximity or contact with infected pigs or contaminated areas. Cases of human-to-human spread have been documented.

What are the symptoms?

The symptoms are similar to those of regular flu:

- Fever
- Lethargy
- Runny nose
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Lack of appetite
- Vomiting and diarrhoea in some cases.

How common is swine flu infection in humans?

In the past reports of about one human swine flu virus infection had been received every one to two years in the United States. From December 2005 till February 2009, 12 cases have been reported.

Has this strain of flu been seen before?

No. Flu mutates constantly, so it is common for new strains to emerge. Pigs can also be infected with both human and avian influenza, and the current circulating swine flu strain appears to contain genetic elements from all three.

Can swine flu be treated with antiviral drugs and flu vaccine?

The swine flu is resistant to two common drugs – Amantadine and Rimantadine. The H1N1 swine flu viruses are very different from human H1N1 viruses. Therefore, vaccines for human seasonal flu would not provide protection. However, a “seed vaccine” has been specifically tailored to this swine flu and will be manufactured if officials deem it necessary.

Can people catch swine flu by eating pork?

No. Swine influenza viruses are not transmitted by food. Eating properly handled and cooked pork and pork products is safe. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 70ÂșC and above kills the swine flu virus.

How long is someone with swine flu considered contagious?

People with swine influenza virus infection should be considered potentially contagious as long as they are symptomatic; possibly for up to seven days following the onset of the illness. Children, especially younger children, might potentially be contagious for longer periods.

What can I do to protect myself from the swine flu?

There is no vaccine available right now to protect against the swine flu.

However, you can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like influenza by:

- Covering your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or handkerchief when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the waste basket after you use it.

- Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also helpful.

- Try to avoid close contact with sick people.

- If you get sick with influenza, stay at home and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.

- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.

- Consult your nearest healthcare facility if you think you have any of the symptoms.

Which countries have had cases of the swine flu?

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has confirmed human cases of swine flu in Mexico, the United States, Canada and Spain. Only Mexico has reported deaths from the new strain.

Are there any travel restrictions or advisories for Malaysians?

The Health Ministry on 27 April 2009 advised Malaysians against travelling to certain places in the United States, Mexico and Canada which have been affected by the swine flu.

What precautions are in place in Malaysia?

- The Health Ministry’s operations room in Putrajaya has started a 24-hour monitoring of the situation. The public can call 03-8881 0200/300 for enquiries.
- Those returning from Latin American countries and found to have flu-like symptoms will be quarantined.
- Health Ministry officials are conducting health screenings on passengers arriving from the United States.
- Thermal scanners will be placed at international airports to speed up the screening process for swine flu.
- Public and private medical practitioners have been instructed to report to the district health office any patient with influenza-like illnesses or severe pneumonia symptoms and who had travelled to the affected countries after April 17.
- Owners of the 797 pig farms nationwide have been ordered to immediately contact the nearest Veterinary Services Department office or the Animal Disease Control Centre if their workers or animals show symptoms linked to the swine flu.

Where can I get more information?

For more information, go to the Health Ministry or call the Ministry’s hotline at (03) 8881-0200/300.

DR MANSOR OTHMAN IS PKR CANDIDATE FOR PENANTI STATE BY-ELECTION

A former Professor from Universiti Sains Malaysia and former Political Secretary when Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was the Deputy Prime Minister in the Barisan Nasional federal government, Dr Mansor Othman aged 58 years has been picked to be the candidate for PKR at the Penanti State by-election scheduled next month.

This was announced by PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to a crowd of more than 1,000 people who packed into Yayasan Aman, Penanti tonight.

Among Pakatan Rakyat leaders present were: Penang Chief Minister and DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng, PKR national president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, state PKR chief and Bayan Baru parliamentarian MP Zahrain Mohd Hashim, state DAP chairperson and state executive councillor Chow Kon Yeow and former Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin.

Since the seat fell vacant after its incumbent representative Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin resigned on April 16, speculations were rife that Dr Mansor was PKR supremo Datuk Seri Anwar’s pick for the contest.

The by-election was called by the Election Commission when Fairus resigned as the elected State representative.

FAST-TRACK ZAMBRY'S CASE AT FEDERAL COURT DISMISSED

'Unlawful' Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir who had sought a fast-track application to the Federal Court to seek a declaration that he is the only legal Mentri Besar of Perak instead of Datuk Seri Ir Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin was dismissed by the Federal Court today and was returned to the High Court for hearing and determination since there are many serious triable issues to be heard and decided upon.

The five-member bench led by Court of Appeal president Justice Alauddin Mohd Sheriff agreed that disputed facts exist between the affidavits filed by Datuk Seri Ir Mohd Nizar and the state legal advisor, who is representing Datuk Seri Dr Zambry.

The High Court is scheduled to hear this case on 4 May 2009 since there were so many uncertainties to be determined.

ELECTION COMMISSION TIGHTEN GRIP ON ELECTIONS - WHY NOT INCLUDE ENTICE 'GOODIES' AND 'HAND-OUTS, BUS LOAD OF PHANTOM VOTERS & NO NEWS REPORTS

The Election Commission (EC) announced that they are tightening up the Elections Laws by introducing new measures to curb political parties and their supporters from canvassing for votes and campaigning from midnight to 5pm on polling day, to allow a cooling-off period for voters to make their choice while did not rule out the possibility that the number of supporters accompanying candidates on nomination day would be limited to a “sensible” number, so that the police strength can also be reduced.

From the recent by-elections, it was noted that these two pointers were the reason for the disastrous defeat of the ruling coalition, Barisan Nasional, and they hope by curbing them BN will be able to entice the voters using various 'dubious' means to distort their opponent.

To make it a fair election, the EC should also include that no political party will be allow to entice the voters with 'goodies' and 'hand-outs' from nomination day to polling day, bring bus load of phantom voters to voter for them on polling day, and stop any mainstream medias from reporting any news covering the elections from nomination day to polling day.

If these are incorporated, the matter will be within the locality and its the duty of the candidate and his supporters to canvass for votes without external interference.

Do you think the EC will include these proposal?

PENANTI BY ELECTION - NOMINATION ON 23 MAY 2009 & POLLS ON 31 MAY 2009

The Election Commission has fixed Nomination Day for the Penanti State by-elections in Penang on 23 May 2009 while Polling Day had been fixed for 31 May 2009, if there is a contest.

The State seat fell vacant after PKR member and Deputy Penang Chief Minister 1 Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin resigned in the wake of corruption allegations linked to quarrying operations but this has been cleared by the MACC recently.

So far, Barisan Nasional has indicated that they will not contest but still could be a 'bluff' to gain political mileage for the diminishing support BN is receiving of late.

The EC Chief Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof made this announcement this morning.

SARAVANAN CATCHES HOSPITAL KUALA LUMPUR DOCTORS NOT ATTENDING TO WAITING EMERGENCY PATIENTS

Deputy Minister of Federal Territories Datuk M. Saravanan 'caught' two doctors at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) Emergency Department at 10.30am today, reading newspapers and doing their own stuff instead of attending to more than 20 patients in pain waiting for medical treatment.

Datuk Saravanan, who was visiting a injured university student, was shocked by his discovery and demanded to to see their superior, who also turned up 30 minutes later.

The situation took a turn with this discovery. All patients were attended to immediately.

How long will this happen? Another surprise visit will reveal.

DR ZAMBRY CLAIMS 7 MAY PERAK STATE ASSEMBLY SITTING WILL MEET AS SCHEDULED

Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir claims that the 7 May 2009 State Assembly Sitting will be held as scheduled since he has received the consent from the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah and since the Barisan Nasional now commands the majority with 3 Independents - 28 BN, 2 PKR drop-outs and 1 DAP drop-out.

FEDERAL CONSTITUTION 'RAPED' TO SUIT BN LEADERS

The Malaysian Federal Constitution is the law that everyone of us have to respect, obey and fall back if there is any doubt, irrespective if you are the Ruler, Politician, Judge and every Malaysian citizen. The Federal Constitution was enacted to protect every Malaysian citizens rights, privileges and obligations.

The Federal Court, the supreme court in Malaysia, had recently interpreted the Federal Constitution against its intention whereby opening up floodgates of disputes. Now, every matter could be questioned, Malay Ruler's rights, Malay rights, use of Bahasa Malaysia, who is the prime minister, who is the King and so forth.

When Article 72 of the Federal Constitution clearly states ‘The validity of any proceedings in the Legislative Assembly of any State shall not be questioned in any court’, the Federal Court Judges who sat to decide on the Perak crisis issue, decided to interpret it to favour the Barisan Nasional leadership without realising that every action by everyone, King, Prime Minister, Government, Judiciary, AG Chambers, Police, Army and every body can now be questioned and challenged although certain quarters have immunity. Rather than upholding justice as per their intentions, these Federal Court Judges have become 'kingmakers' and should be immediately REMOVED and PUNISHED BY PUBLIC HANGING for making a absolute mockery of the situation.

Its time for the government of the day to ensure and build public confidence that the Federal Constitution is SUPREME and no one is allowed to interpret its intentions when it is so clearly spelt out.

It has become timely that anyone can proclaim that he is the King, Ruler of the State, Prime Minister, Chief Justice, Attorney-General, Inspector-General of Police or Chief of the Arm Forces since the Federal Constitution need not be followed and anyone- citizen or non-citizen, can claim these position and interpret the Federal Constitution to the wishes of themselves.

A state of chaos is about to be created, if this shortcomings are not addressed and corrected immediately.

Another UMNO-led Barisan Nasional folly!!!!

YOUR HIGHNESSES, RESPECT HAS TO BE EARNED FROM THE RAKYAT. THOSE DAYS OF DEMANDING RESPECT ARE LONG GONE.

YOUR HIGHNESSES, RESPECT HAS TO BE EARNED FROM THE RAKYAT. THOSE DAYS OF DEMANDING RESPECT ARE LONG GONE, I have copied this from my fellow blogger Malaysians Unplugged Uncensored, to whom I must give credit and who is brave enough to address this issue in depth, without fear of 'unfair' prosecution.

The article is : http://malaysianunplug.blogspot.com/2009/04/your-highnesses-respect-has-to-be.html if read will show that our Highnesses have 'raped' and 'discredited' their subjects and now trying to defend their 'unlawful' acts by claiming that they have no reason to explain.

Look at Perak, the State is in political turmoil due to the involvement of Barisan Nasional, Palace, Election Commission, State Secretary, Police and Judiciary with their 'bias' decisions and acts favouring the 'crooks'. A fresh State elections should be called to resolve this crisis and not replace them with 'thieves', who were 'ousted' for the first time in Malaysian history during the 8 March 2008 general elections.
Another crisis is brewing in Terengganu and we can expect similar problems to occur.
Watch these videos on the Constitutional Crisis of 1993 : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asNTbvlK7Eo and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRMDrtn6898 where Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah spoke at Dewan Rakyat explaining the Rights and Privileges by everyone of us which now has been always raised for their political advantage.
Malaysians should seriously consider replacing the Rulers with a President elected by the people every 5 years?

TERENGGANU MENTRI BESAR 'UNWANTED'

A 'takeover crisis' is brewing in Terengganu with plans to 'oust' current Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said, who has the blessing of the Sultan of Terengganu and current Yang DiPertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, by a group presumably led by former MB, Datuk Idris Jusuh.

The Barisan Nasional has 24 out of 32 Assemblymen with the remaining control by PAS.

Recently there was talk that a vote of no confidence would have been tabled but this was held back with assurance from Prime Minister and BN Chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak giving Datuk Ahmad Said a grace of a month to resolve this internal crisis or face a boot.

It is predicted that there will be a CHANGE in a month or so since the opposing group are united and will force the current MB to step down.

PERAK DEWAN SPEAKER HAS NO AUTHORITY TO EXPEL OR SUSPEND PERAK STATE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY SECRETARY

Perak State Secretary Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Hashim claims that the Perak State Assembly Speaker V Sivakumar has NO POWERS to remove or expel the Dewan Secretary since the post of State Legislative Assembly Secretary was a Grade M52 post under the Administrative and Diplomatic Service (PTD) which was approved by the State authority through an establishment warrant signed by the Perak Menteri Besar.

It seems the expulsion of Abdullah Antong Sabri by Speaker V. Sivakumar yesterday was invalid and could not be enforced.

Another limbo created by the interference of the Barisan Nasional government.

It seems that the Barisan Nasional is using all its powers to ensure that the Perak Legislative Assembly would have its sitting on 7 May 2009 in order for BN to remain in power. After the expiry of the deadline - 6 months, the State would have to have a fresh State elections, which every Perakians know would be a disaster for the Barisan Nasional, Perak State Secretary and the Perak Palace since the new administration elected would ensure that they are reprimanded for creating this 'chaos' for 'personal gains'.

DO YOU THINK BARISAN NASIONAL WILL NOT CONTEST IN PENANTI STATE BY-ELECTIONS?

The speculation is that the Barisan Nasional will not contest in the forthcoming Penanti State by-elections after the resignation of PKR Assemblyman and former Deputy Penang Chief Minister 1 Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin over alleged corruption and over recent reports by Prime Minister and BN Chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak that its a waste of time, energy and money holding a by-elections over resignations.

Look at the arrogance of UMNO who lead the Barisan Nasional, it is really unbelievable that they will not contest, although the odds at Penanti are that its a stronghold of the Opposition and with current developments in Perak, the voting trend would even be more disastrous since the judiciary are also become 'lawmakers' and read the Federal Constitution according to the wishes of their 'masters'.

But whatever the decision, the Opposition will once again secure this seat comfortably unless some form of 'dirty' tricks are employed by this 'uncaring corrupted and arrogant' UMNO dominated Barisan Nasional front.

PERAK STATE ASSEMBLY TO MEET ON 7 MAY 2009

It has been revealed that the 'thief BN Mentri Besar' Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir has instructed suspended indefinately Dewan Secretary Abdullah Antong Sabri to issue an official notice that the State Assembly will be convened on 7 May 2009, just six days before the compulsory six-month deadline to hold the Dewan sitting expires.

Dewan sittings are usually called by the Dewan Speaker and this current twist of events have created another political turmoil in the already problematic situation since the newly appointed Dewan Secretary Mohd Misbahul Munir Masduki was not contacted. The Federal Court had yesterday declared that Dewan Speaker V Sivakumar has no authority to suspend Datuk Dr Zambry and his 6 BN Exco members, although its clear that the decision of the Dewan Speaker cannot be challenge in any court of law. The Federal Court had created a 'dangerous' precidents and had 'raped' the State and Federal Constitution in order to please their 'masters' BN Federal government who had through the back-door taken control of Perak State using the Sultan of Perak when the existing Pakatan Rakyat Mentri Besar and his Exco members had not tendered their resignation. According to the Perak Constitution, the Sultan has no powers to demand a resignation of the Mentri Besar but its is only customary to 'obey' the wishes of the Sultan.

The only solution for this crisis would be to dissolve the State Assembly and call for fresh State elections but Barisan Nasional fears that it would be a tsunami for them to face a election in Perak as all their candidates are likely to lose all their seats.

FAIRUS VACATES PENANTI STATE SEAT

The State Assemblyman for Penanti in Penang, who was former Deputy Chief Minister 1, Mohammad Fairus Khairuddin of Parti KeADILAN Rakyat has quit his State Assembly seat at Penanti today, paving a way for a fresh State elections.

Another very interesting by-election with the people in Penanti getting 'goodies' from the Barisan Nasional, with the hope of regaining victory.

FEDERAL COURT LIFTS DATUK DR ZAMBRY & HIS EXCO'S SUSPENSION BY THE PERAK STATE SPEAKER

In a surprising unanimous Federal Court decision today, which has 'raped' the Federal and Perak State Constitutions, made a 'dangerous' ruling that the suspension order by the Perak State Speaker V. Sivakumar, who imposed a suspension on 'unlawful' Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir for 18 months and his Exco members for 12 months over breaches committed which was decided after the Perak State Assembly's Special Privileges Committee inquiry , is unlawful and he has no such powers to do so.

The Federal Court comprising of Court of Appeal president Justice Alauddin Mohd Sheriff which included Chief Judge of Malaya Justice Arifin Zakaria, Federal Court Justices Nik Hashim Nik Ab. Rahman, S. Augustine Paul and Zulkefli Ahmad Makinudin made this unanimous decision which paves the way for Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Dr Zambry to administer the State government and to seek the Sultan’s consent to convene a State Assembly sitting before the May 13 deadline. Should the deadline not be met, it is assumed that the Assembly must be automatically dissolved, making way for a fresh State elections.

This 'unexpected' and 'dangerous' decision would open the floodgates of cases in questioning the Federal and State Constitutions, although the Constitution are unquestionable in any Court of law.

Today's Federal Court decision further erodes the confidence of the people on the judiciary and come next general elections, it is for sure the current 'uncaring, corrupted and arrogant' Barisan Nasional government would be toppled since they have 'masterminded' this decision to remain in power in Perak although the Opposition State leaders have not lawfully resigned.

UTUSAN MALAYSIA REPORT YESTERDAY 'SEDITIOUS' & MUST BE BOYCOTTED & ACTION TAKEN

With the report by Mingguan Malaysia last Sunday, belittling the Chinese community in Malaysia by claiming them to be 'ungrateful' or 'unappreciative' by our newly minted Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

Yesterday, Utusan Malaysia without remorse reported again a 'seditious' article claiming that the Malays do not require non-Malay support and they could form a government without their support.

This is a serious breach of 'disgracing' the non-Malay communities in Malaysia and until the newspaper publishing is immediately banned and the people responsible in the publishing of the article are charged for sedition or arrested under the Internal Security Act (ISA), a serious racial tension may arise.

The new government under the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak with his concept: 1 Malaysia, will not be achieved if there are people within the ruling government trying to sabotage them.

It has been reported by a prominent blog site that readers and retailers involved with Utusan Malaysia should boycott sales and it further added that they should plan to buy a few copies and burn them nationwide and describe the day as 'BURN UTUSAN MALAYSIA DAY'. Read this article for information: http://mt.m2day.org/2008/content/view/20642/84/.

Utusan Malaysia is fully owned by UMNO, that also form majority of the Barisan Nasional federal government.

PM NAJIB 'INSULTS' TAMILS AND MALAYALEES ON THEIR NEW YEAR

Today (13 or 14 April 2009) is the New Year of the Indians and various aupicious occassions are made to greet this day.

As usual, leaders would greet those concern. Since the Indian communities are diversified which comprise of Tamil, Telegus, Malayalees, Sikhs and other Indians races and each of these races have their own way of describing this day.

To the surprise of Malaysian Indians, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak had only congratulated the Sikh community on their 'Vaisakhi day' today as reported by Bernama.

The other Indians, Tamils - 'Puthandu Valthukkal' and Malayalees - 'Vishu' are celebrations of these communities but had not gained any recognition and it denotes an 'insult' to our multi-cultural and diverse Malaysian culture.

Although it may be a mistake on the part of the Prime Minister but as a leader Datuk Seri Najib need to respect every race and give them due recognition.

UMNO NO. 2 MAKES 'STUPID' STATEMENT ABOUT CHINESE

Newly elected UMNO Deputy President and Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has made a controversial remark that the Chinese community had been 'ungrateful' to the Barisan Nasional by not voting their candidates at Bukit Gantang and Bukit Selambau recently although various allocations were made for vernacular chinese schools during these two by-elections. A similar 'insult' was made to the Indians too, which were reported by Mingguan Malaysia, a UMNO newspaper last Sunday.

It seems that our Tan Sri Muhyiddin does not realise that these 'hand-outs' to vernacular schools are the duty of the BN government since the highest contributor of Income Tax is derived from the Chinese community as explained by former premier Tun Mahathir Mohamad. Chinese and Tamil schools in Malaysia are partially aid schools by the government and these schools depend on public funds to provide education although its very citizens right to obtain a good free education. Moves to make Chinese and Tamil schools as fully government schools had always been denied by the BN administration.

Voting in any election is the choice of the citizen and by inducing 'goodies' to buy their votes is the prerogative of the political establishment at their risk. It is common practice in Malaysia that Barisan Nasional would pour 'goodies' during election time to 'buy' votes and this seems to be the modern day trend and most Malaysians are hoping that their area would have a by-election to benefit from this sudden gift, although it is the duty of the government of the day to provide them.

The Chinese and Indians in Malaysia are no longer 'beggars'. Its almost 52 years since Malaysia has gained Independence from the British colonial masters with the efforts of Malays, Chinese and Indians and this injustice and unfair treatment of wealth seems too difficult to digest. The Chinese and Indians are fully aware and never questioned the Special rights enjoyed by the Malays but this unfair distribution of wealth is seem to deny these communities their fair share.

Tan Sri Muhyiddin's statement on this issue is really unwarranted but as usual UMNOputras would back him so that they can physical benefit from the support. The long term implications are vital and if UMNO led Barisan Nasional federal government does not reform and start treating every citizen equally, BN or UMNO will face a 'fatal blow' in the coming general elections.

UMNO leaders need to realise that when there was a Malay crisis in 1999, these Chinese and Indians were the groups that came to their rescue but even then they had not received anything substantial or demanded that they should receive much more than the Malays. The Chinese and Indian communities fully understand that for Malaysia to progress, we need to care for one another. But UMNO and BN seem to distort these notions for their political agenda of divide and rule.

It seems that an apology itself would not be sufficient by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Tan Sri Muhyiddin need to accept responsibility and face this like a gentleman.

UMNO or BN need to realise that voting is the right of the citizen and it needs to reform to treat every citizen as enshrined by the Malaysian Federal Constitution irrespective of their ethical background with fairness.
UPDATE
DPM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin claims that the chinese newspapers have twisted his word 'unappreciative' to ungrateful.
After been educated with PUBLIC FUNDS and to 'insult' the intelligence of the Chinese on the understanding of the Bahasa Malaysia language is a further 'insult' to the community. To refresh his thoughts, it has been widely reported that non-Malays have mastered the Bahasa Malaysia language much better than the Malays.
As stated, Tan Sri Muhyiddin need to accept his mistake and not twist facts. Every human makes errors in life but must be a gentleman to own up to it.

SAMY VELLU SHOULD MEET PM NAJIB AND NOT USE MEDIA TO VOICE HIS GRIEVANCE

Newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was reported as saying that veteran politician and MIC President Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu should have a meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak to discuss the dissatisfaction raised by the MIC on the appointment of Cabinet members. MIC's grouses are that they are given non-prominent roles while their request for addition appointments were totally not considered.

The recent appointment although its the prerogative of the Prime Minister, witness many 'losers' in the general elections been appointed Senators and made ministers. MIC had not be accorded the same privilege although its the third largest component of the ruling BN government.

Knowing Datuk Seri Samy Vellu, his recent outburst must have been warranted since every avenue to seek fairness must have failed and since his credibility is already tarnished with the continued marginalising of the Malaysian Indian community in Malaysia, just giving-in to the pressures of UMNO would be detrimental to MIC and to him personally since the Indian community would just consider him another 'pariah' although after holding such a prominent position for the last 26 years or so.

What has been done can't be undone and with the trimming of the Cabinet, the Prime Minister would also not be able to accommodate his demands.

Maybe if the prime minister were to reclassify the Malaysian Indians in the category of 'bumiputras' since they form a minority group of about 8% and release all outlawed HINDRAF ISA detainees, MIC would be able to win over the Indian votes and fulfill its aim as the 'champions of the Indian community'.

But will this dream of MIC ever happen?

PM NAJIB SEEKS FEEDBACK ON HIS NEW CABINET & SLOGAN : “1MALAYSIA. PEOPLE FIRST. PERFORMANCE NOW”

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak has launched a feedback blog http://www.1malaysia.com.my/index.php to receive feedback, comments and opinions on his newly appointed Cabinet and also his slogan : '1 Malaysia, People First, Performance Now'.

As most of you are fully aware that Perlis State UMNOputras, MIC, MCA are not happy with the Cabinet line-up and him appointing ''losers' through the back-door, Senatorship.

Most Malaysians are quite sceptical whether he will take a serious view of their comments and this feedback blog is just another gimmick to satisfy his political ambition.

Surprise to many, his first official trip overseas has been a disaster and could be view as a bad omen.

WOULD SELANGOR STATE COUNCILLOR ELIZABETH WONG BE BACK TO WORK?

It has been published in youtube just a couple of hours ago that residents Of Bukit Lanjan want Elizabeth Wong to return and resume her duties as the Selangor State Councillor.

Will Elizabeth Wong do it?

MIC OFFICIALS TO 'BOYCOTT' NEWLY APPOINTED CABINET POSITIONS IN PROTEST

The Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) which is the third largest component party in the Barisan Nasional and who claims to be the 'champions of the Indian community' will decide at its Central Working Committee Meeting in a few days time whether the party officials who have been appointed to newly appointed Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak's new Cabinet should resign since MIC feels that they are treated like 'second and third class citizens' by being offered junior ministerial positions.

The MIC had at all material times held the Works Minister's position and since the disastrous 8 March general elections, the MIC had this position taken away and offered a junior position as Human Resources Minister.

MIC President Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu claims that the Indian community seems that MIC is unable to demand anything from UMNO control BN, although every component party have to be treated fairly and squarely. He further claims that the Indian community have been lacking behind since the government had neglected their request for such a long time and since the restructuring of the estates and Indians flocking to the urban life, most Indians were unprepared or not given proper guidance or care, resulting in the community facing many serious problems while Indians are also victimised by the system.

In order for the government to take a serious view, and since our appeal is unheard, a boycott in the Cabinet would force the BN leadership to address the Indian community woes. MIC should no longer be 'bullied' to achieve other communities benefit. Malaysia is made up of various races and its time for the BN federal government to look into their plight and try to resolve most of their grievances rather than giving in to certain communities.

But the Indian community is quite sceptical on whether MIC will make such a move since they could be 'bought'. MIC, which always claims that 'MIC will sink or swim with BN' may be talked out of this plan and the MIC leaders know that it better to hold something rather than becoming 'irrelevant'.

But the Indian community feels that if such a move materialises, the BN federal government would immediately address the grouses which the community have been hoping for such a long time now. With this move, MIC would be able to regain its lost glory with the Indian support returning to them wholeheartedly.

Will MIC take this BOLD STEP?

KHAIRY JAMALUDDIN - THE 'UNWANTED' CHAMPION

With the appointment of the new Ministers and Deputy Ministers by the new Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak yesterday, the most significant UMNO leader not appointed is Khairy Jamaluddin, the newly elected UMNO Youth leader. By convention and tradition, the UMNO Youth leader is always given a ministerial position. To make matters worst, the loser at the contest, Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir was offered a deputy minister's position. Maybe this is to keep his solemn promise or to show gratitude to former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad who had repeatedly made ways to 'forcefully' remove his successor, Tun (then Datuk Seri) Abdullah Ahmad Badawi by criticising his weak administration openly, although Tun Dr Mahathir is not an angel himself.

Khairy Jamaluddin is the son-in-law of his successor Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and one thing is certain that since Tun Abdullah had always kept his promise and had gracefully handed his UMNO position by not contesting and Prime Minister's position by convincing the Yang DiPertuan Agong despite several serious allegations, maybe given time, once everything is forgotten, which is very common among Malaysians, he will be appointed then.

It seems until such time, Khairy might have to wait. Khairy's ambition is to be Malaysian premier before his age is 40 years.

THREE PERAK ASSEMBLYMEN (FROGS) TO KEEP THEIR SEATS - FEDERAL COURT RULING

The three independent Perak State Assemblymen who quit their parties will keep their seats after the Federal Court ruled that the Election Commission had the right to decide whether state seats are vacant today.

Jelapang assemblyman Hee Yit Foong, Behrang assemblyman Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi and Changkat Jering assemblyman Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu resigned from their political parties in the Pakatan Rakyat coalition government in February and had threw their support behind the Barisan Nasional as independents, causing the fall of the Pakatan state government.

Perak State Assembly Speaker V. Sivakumar announced that three had quit their seats as well, based on an undated resignation letter the three had previously signed but the Assemblymen had denied this.

Speaker Sivakumar had asked the Commission to declare the seats vacant and to call for by-elections, but the Commission did not do so.

NIZAR JAMALUDDIN - THE VOTER'S CHOICE

The Bukit Gantang parliamentary by-elections today will decide whether the Perakians favour the 'Clean & Gentlemen' PAS State government or in support of the 'arrogant, corrupted & useless' Barisan Nasional government although BN claims otherwise after 'unlawfully' grabbing the State government 'illegally' using the 'frogs' and the Palace.

Perakians on the whole are expecting a State-wide snap elections but the Sultan has yet to consent to dissolution of the State Assembly despite the State Assembly that met at the historical 'democracy tree' had passed a resolution.

Today, with a win to PAS candidate and legitimate Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ir Nizar Jamaluddin in this parliamentary by-election would sent a message to the BN federal government that 'ENOUGH IS ENOUGH' and with the next general election, Malaysians on the whole want a new and clean federal government. Using 'old newspaper' Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who had corrupted the Malaysian system would not achieve any goals since the people admire Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's stand that Tun Dr Mahathir should just retire with not bothering into Malaysian politics and should take care of his own business.

Hope the voters in Bukit Gantang parliamentary by-election will deliver this message with a victory to Datuk Seri Ir Nizar at any cost.

OPPOSITION TO WIN ALL 3 BY-ELECTIONS ON TUESDAY

It is revealed that from insider information, the 3 by-elections, Bukit Gantang Parliamentary elections, Bukit Selambau State elections and Batang Ai State elections due to be held tomorrow (7 April 2009) will be won by the Opposition with an impressive margin.

The above prediction were made due to the swing of voters feeling for the uncaring, ineffective and corrupted Barisan Nasional government although it has changed its leadership.

The voters trend today is to topple the 'arrogant and useless' Barisan Nasional government and restore public confidence in the government administration.

The Barisan Nasional feel that by releasing the 13 'insignificant' ISA detainees yesterday by the newly apponted Prime Minister would change the public image but from information received it has not impressed the public.

The continued manipulation of public funds and mismanagement and brutality of the government machineries by the Barisan Nasional government is considered 'ENOUGH IS ENOUGH' and the public and voters are demanding a CHANGE which would ensure that their future is secured as per their aspiration of having a peaceful and united Malaysia.

MCA WANTS ITS LEADER TO BE APPOINTED DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER

It is reported that Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) a big brother in the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition has made a request that its President be appointed the Deputy Prime Minister in the incoming reshuffle Cabinet line-up to show the true spirit of power-sharing concept claimed to be the spirit of the Barisan Nasional concept.

MCA Deputy Secretary-General Datuk Loke Yuen Yow, also claimed that he should also be appointed BN Deputy President, to help to realise the true ideology of a power-sharing of the BN administration and value the contribution of the Chinese in the Malaysian society.

Datuk Loke further claimed that MCA President who is Transport Minister now, Datuk Sri Ong Tee Kiat would take a fairer and a more justifiable policy which is beneficial to all, especially in areas relating to the Chinese in the fields of economics and education which is current held with 'suspicion'.

Will PM Datuk Seri Najib concede to this MCA request or maintain status quo to avoid a major UMNO crisis?

NAJIB SWORN-IN 6TH MALAYSIAN PRIME MINISTER

Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak was sworn-in as the 6th Prime Minister after taking a Oath of Office in front of the Yang DiPertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin at 10.10am this morning at Istana Negara.

This ends speculations of the transitional crisis and it is believed that the new Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib will have an uphill task since the country is faced by poor support for his ruling party Barisan Nasional by the Malaysian rakyat and the serious global recession currently faced.

His first test of trust will be revealed at the 3 elections that would be held on 7 April 2009. Early indications reveal the Opposition are the favourites.

This ends the political career of outgoing Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who had been branded a 'sleeping PM' but as a good gesture was awarded a 'Tun' tittle for his service to the people by the Yang DiPertuan Agong this morning.

ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI HANDS RESIGNATION TO YANG DIPERTUAN AGONG TODAY

Outgoing Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi formally submitted his resignation as announced today at 10am to the Yang DiPertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin during a scheduled hour-long audience.

It was further reported that the it is now up to the Yang DiPertuan Agong to accept the resignation and appoint his successor, Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak, a transition agreed upon by Datuk Seri Abdullah and Datuk Seri Najib of the Barisan Nasional coalition.

It was further understood that Datuk Seri Abdullah would be conferred a 'Tun' title after the new prime minister is sweared in, in recognition for his service to the nation.

It was seen that Datuk Seri Najib had an audience with the Yang DiPertuan Agong after PM Datuk Seri Abdullah and while leaving the palace at 12.15pm, Datuk Seri Najib was smiling and waving at the waiting crowd, but mentioned nothing.

It was learned that SMSes have been distributed to Cabinet Members and Dignatories that a swearing-in ceremony has been arranged for 10am tomorrow, but so far no official word have been issued by the Palace.

If the swearing-in ceremony takes place, Datuk Seri Najib would be sworn in as the 6th Prime Minister of Malaysia.

Datuk Seri Najib seems to be linked to the controversial murder of Mongolian national, Altantuya Shaariibuu which has recently hit foreign press which indirectly discredits his credibility and reputation. The Opposition is requesting for a Royal Commission of Inquiry be established to investigate and clear Datuk Seri Najib's name before he is appointed Malaysian Prime Minister.
