May 7 will always be remembered as a Day of Infamy for Perak. To think that this great state can be reduced to near anarchy by irresponsible, greedy and power-crazy BN politicians who will cling onto power by the vilest means possible has brought more shame to the palace and disgust, condemnation and anger amongst Perakians. No amount of pacifying and excuses can ever repair the damage to their already foul and tainted reputation. The UMNO police goons did not help their already bad reputation either. The only saving grace for them would be to jointly agree with the PR assemblymen to dissolve the state assembly and call for a new state election without further delay.
