RAJA PETRA KAMARUDDIN TO BE CHARGED UNDER THE SEDICTION ACT 1948 TOMORROW AT JALAN DUTA MAGISTRATES' COURT

It has been widely reported that the police are going to charge MalaysiaToday webmaster, Raja Petra Kamaruddin under the Sediction Act 1948 tomorrow (tuesday) at 9.30am at the Magistrates' Court in the Kuala Lumpur Court Complex in Jalan Duta since he had published an article titled 'Let's send the Altantuya murderers to hell' on his blog, Malaysia Today which seem to have implicated Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his wife Rosmah Mansor in this high-profile case.

It seems that writing a fact is a serious crime in Malaysia if it involves people with position. The police need to realise that justice need to be treated fairly. There are many more important pending cases unsolved which the police need to investigate but have felt to mobilise their entire workforce on this case, which the rakyat should demand an explanation since they serve the rakyat and not just certain 'high profile' personnel.

The police need to realise that eventually justice will prevail once this uncaring, corrupt and ineffective Barisan Nasional government is toppled and when the new government imposes new conditions on the police on the way to handle matters.

Its time for a total revamp of the police force or a total 'change' of personnel. Only then will the rakyat receive the justice that is fair and equal.
