Sivarasa, Salahuddin in police sights


Two vice-presidents in Pakatan Rakyat parties - Sivarasa Rasiah (PKR) and Salahuddin Ayob (PAS) - will be questioned by police today.

This is in relation to their speeches at a ceramah (political talk) in Seberang Jaya, Penang, on Feb 7.

They are to be questioned about 1pm at the 14th floor of the Parliament Tower annexe, where Pakatan Rakyat MPs are being briefed on the proposed Goods and Services Tax Bill tabled by the government during the last sitting of the Dewan Rakyat.

r sivarasa 220405 lawyerSivarasa, the Subang MP, is also likely to be questioned about what he allegedly said about the on-going sodomy trial of Anwar Ibrahim. He is a member of the legal team in the case.

salahuddin ayub 02Salahuddin, the Kubang Kerian MP, is believed to have touched on many issues in his remarks, including those affecting the Penang government and the sodomy trial.
