Agong returns after German treatment


Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin returned home tonight after undergoing advanced physiotherapy in Bad Wiessee, Germany since Jan 26.

His Majesty, who arrived at the Royal Malaysian Air Force Base in Subang, near here at 11.30pm, was accompanied by Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Nur Zahirah and their children.

A statement from the Istana Negara today said Tuanku Mizan was reported to be in fine condition after seeking treatment at the Medical Park, St Hubertus.

Tuanku Mizan also expressed his appreciation to all the people who had prayed for his wellbeing throughout the period he was undergoing treatment.

On Nov 30, last year, Tuanku Mizan had a knee surgery at the Klinikum Rechts Der Isar Medical Centre, Der Technischen Universitat Munchen, Munich. — Bernama
