WHAT'S THE REAL TRUTH BEHIND THE RIFT BETWEEN TUN DR MAHATHIR MOHAMAD AND PM DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI? (PART 1)

After having summarized the various events that had taken place, we could conclude that the greed for power and money is what is in question. The welfare of the rakyat becomes secondary to these two leaders. You may not believe me now but with time, the rakyat will realise them to be true. I am sorry to say that the ruling government, BARISAN NASIONAL, now and the past, had made a 'big fool' out of us all.

During the recent so-called 'peace talk' at Seri Perdana last Sunday, although the talk was tape-recorded by Tun Dr Mahathir for obvious reasons that PM Datuk Seri Abdullah being branded 'forgetful and sleepy' will deny the statements later, the real truth is still a big mystery. It was made a 4-eye talk for obvious reasons. Tun Dr Mahathir had requested that the meeting be held with the cabinet ministers or with the UMNO Supreme Council members present. All these proposals were turned down by Datuk Seri Abdullah in fear that the truth that is about to be revealed by Tun Dr Mahathir will weaken his position and power he controls now. Isn't it surprising that the government is a Barisan Nasional government, but no mention of the Barisan Nasional Supreme Council Meeting. As usual, UMNOputras consider themselves supreme to others in the Barisan Nasional. But none of the component partners have voiced any grievances against them, in fear of their own position too. Do we need a coalition of parties to form a government and when a major crisis affects the government, a single party can decide on its faith and outcome. It seems UMNO treats the others in the BN as mere 'puppets'. This is what is meant by 'collective decisions undertaken' which the Barisan Nasional is always seemed to emphasize and 'singing' to the rakyat.

But it is obvious now that the matter of 'conflict of interest' was dealt with. Tun Dr Mahathir had spoken about Pah Lah son, Kamaluddin's Scomi Bhd deals with the Malaysian government companies and Pah Lah had admitted that RM1.5 Billion contract from Petronas was awarded, which clearly showed that Pah Lah knew about the transaction, despite his earlier denial that he was unaware of his son's company deals, and went on to argue that Tun Dr Mahathir had also given his children similar favours during his tenure as prime minister. So, the stories that we heard about in the past, seems to be coming true. Pah Lah had argued that his son's company is 100% bumiputra company and since the award procedure criteria is to award to bumiputra companies, to keep in line with the spirit and aspiration of the New Economic Policy to award government contracts to bumiputra companies only so that these bumiputras could bridge their socio-economical gap which is considered to be 'disparities among the various communities in Malaysia'. But the bigger question here is, how come a public company can be 100% bumiputra? A real joke of the century. There are many other real 100% bumiputra companies, why choose Scomi? All these question if probed, will link to only ONE ANSWER, the major owner's father is the PRIME MINISTER OF BOLEHLAND. Anything also, boleh la. Who dares to question? But Pah Lah never expected Tun Dr Mahathir to reveal this truth although Tun Dr Mahathir had done the same. Now Pah Lah says, Tun Dr Mahathir had given his children much more. But Tun Dr Mahathir is no longer in power, if anyone had a problem then, should have questioned him, although there were issues raised by certain quarters but knowing Tun Dr Mahathir, these matters were quickly and craftly swept under the carpet before it became a national issue. Even Pah Lah was in his cabinet, he never raised it then? Another funny part of all is that Scomi (according to sources) does not have the expertise, knowhow or assets to carry out these contracts but need to barter these deals to fulfill its obligations. So, Scomi becomes a 'middleman' so as to speak.

The next issue is IRAQ FOOD FOR OIL SCANDAL. Pah Lah had given a recommendation letter to his sister-in-law, who had benefited Billions. He did give similar letters to others too. Now Pah Lah claims he had not benefited personally. But the records of United Nations speaks otherwise. It quotes Pah Lah as the recipient of these BILLIONS. What is the meaning of 'recipient'? Why was it not in his sister-in-law's name? So knowingly or unknowingly, Pah Lah has received these Billions. So what Tun Dr Mahathir is trying to clarify is true. Can Pah Lah deny this allegation? Pah Lah clearly knows that when he took the office of Deputy Prime Minister, what he should do or should not do. Was he sleeping at that time too?

Coming to his favourite Oxford grad son-in-law, Khairy Jamaluddin. His involvement in ECM Libra? Pah Lah knows that since he is also First Finance Minister the company was awarded the merger. Now since he wants the public to believe him after the scandal had been exposed, he claims otherwise. Is this another case of a forgotten issue which he always seem to have. Another question is, how has this 31 year old have that much of money to buy these stakes. Even with a loan? Will anyone give Millions without a collateral? In this case the collateral was Pah Lah's instant approval with the merger with Avenue Capital Bhd, a government investment arm. Tun Dr Mahathir would have also raised that Khairy and his chinese buddy Patrick are 'ruling' Terengganu. What reply was extend, we have to wait and see. Tun Dr Mahathir would have told that it seems that Khairy seems to be 'ruling' the country too since every state head need to report to him. He seems to be the decision-maker of Pah Lah's regime. Pah Lah had openly denied this claim but from the looks of it, it may be true. Every important matter is seen by Khairy and his decision is what Pah Lah carries out. What reply was offered we need to wait and see. Tun Dr Mahathir would have brought out the story about his son having to 'beg' Khairy to reinstate his contract? When the contract was finally reinstated it was slagged.

Datuk Seri Abdullah decision to abandon Mahathir's pet projects.
