There were many numerous when Tun Dr Mahathir wanted to step down as Prime Minister but all these rumours were quashed by the reports in the mainstream media. Now it seems Tun Dr Mahathir claims that there was an agreement between him and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi that he will only serve one term in office and hand the Prime Minister's post to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Does Tun Dr Mahathir think that this is a Sendirian Berhad Company and he can decide for themselves. The rakyat is really fed-up with the attitude of the Barisan Nasional especially UMNO, who think they own the country and feel we, Malaysians are a bunch of 'FOOLS'.
Its time for the benefit of all Malaysians, irrespective of their ethnical background to topple this Barisan Nasional government who have all the while been UNCARING, INEFFECTIVE, INEFFICIENT and CORRUPT.
Time for Malaysians to realise that a mere agreement could change all our lives at the mercy of these 'crook' leaders. It is for sure there is more than handing over of this power that had been agreed upon. Malpractices of the Barisan Nasional government cover-up would also have been agreed upon since many issues on this matter is kept silent and unrevealed.
We are not a piece of item to be traded with. Malaysians must demand both these leaders to tell what transpired between themselves for the transfer over and let the rakyat take whatever actions against them.
A lot of Constitutional changes need to be untaken. The terms of office of Prime Minister, and other Ministers must not exceed two terms. This will curb corruption and malpractice and will encourage young and capable leaders a chance to contribute.
VOTE wisely this coming polls expected any time from NOW.
