Seremban High Court will decide on Wednesday whether it will hear the election petition filed by Badrul Hisham Sharin from PKR.
Badrul application is based on the following grounds:
1. Two copies of the petition were not forwarded to Khairy and his lawyer.
2. There were no petition particulars.
3. The petition did not specify section 32B of the Election Offences Act.
4. The term ‘declaration’ was not used in the petition.
Judge Wira Mohtaruddin Baki who heard the preliminary arguments will make his final decision on Wednesday.
Badrul, who lost by 5,746 votes to Khairy Jamaluddin of BN, said he is unsure of his chances on whether the court petition will be accepted.
