BARISAN NASIONAL GOVERNMENT OFFERS RM15.8 MILLION CONTRACTS TO 583 CLASS-F TERENGGANU BASED CONTRACTORS TO WOO VOTES

The Barisan Nasional federal government in a move to win voter confidence has today awarded a whopping RM15.8 Million worth of small infrastructural projects in the Kuala Terengganu district to 583 class-F Terengganu based contractors.

The contracts valued around RM30,000 to RM200,000 through the Implementation Coordination Unit (ICU) at a function at the Wisma Darul Iman, Kuala Terengganu which was attended and officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak had used a computerised 'bidding' system initiated by a local but surprise to many, every contractor was awarded a contract which was randomly selected by them while the nature and value of the contract awarded were shown on a big screen for every participant to view.

It was further reported that all the contractors involved were UMNOputras and the BN had used this opportunity to award contracts to win their hearts and to show the Kuala Terengganu voters and residents that the BN government cares for them. This is also another way to utilise the Royalties monies that were withheld, but rather than using them for better purposes, they were wasted to enrich the UMNOputras in the State.

The Opposition have expressed that these are the tactics BN will use to 'buy' votes, and have advised voters to be vary of them.

It was further reported that ceremah permits to Opposition parties were refused during these 2 days since it was a holiday period depriving candidates their right to have a fair election.

Ground reports reveal the BN is a loser and the BN is trying its best to use 'unscrupulous' methods to swing the votes in their favour.
