All 36 polling stations closed at 5pm and votes were counted and tallied at the respective polling stations but these ballot papers will be brought to the main centre located at the Kuala Terengganu State Stadium for announcement of the results which is expected before 10.30pm. According to the EC, voter turnout was around 80%.Unconfirmed sources reveal PAS candidate is on the lead.
