UMNO members and official will need to reform and change their idealogy that the non-Malays in Malaysia are 'pendatang' or immigrants.
The Malays themselves are also immigrants from various Asian countries.
UMNOputras would have to address this situation immediately failing which UMNO would eventual face a disastrous defeat in the coming general elections.
There were racist remarks made by a few UMNOputras recently which were really uncalled for. It defeats the 1 MALAYSIA concept initiated by UMNO President and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abd Razak.
UMNO needs to give its members a stern warning that any member inciting racist remarks would be expelled and charged in court under the Sedition Act.
And to prove its seriousness, the UMNO leadership would have to make these recent members who had made racists remarks be expell and charge in court.
UMNO would have to educate its members to 'love their neighbour' and teach them to stop saying racist remarks about non-Malays in Malaysia and also not to question their constitution rights as conferred by the Malaysian Federal Constitution.
Will UMNO reform ?
