UMNO POURS 'GOODIES' TO WIN THE HEARTS OF THE MALAYS

The UMNO-led Barisan Nasional is pouring in 'goodies' to the Malay rakyat to woo them to vote for the Barisan Nasional candidates. It was reported that about 500 mosques in Kelantan would receive a face-lift if they were to gain control of the State, which until now is in the hands of PAS, an Opposition party.

It seems that UMNO is using every means to get the support of the Malays by using certain 'sensitive' statements to win the confidence of the Malay rakyat.

But at the same time, the BN President, sings a song that 'Malaysia is for all Malaysians'.

There is alot of 'petroleum' money available to the present government to offer various 'goodies' to the rakyat and it seems the BN is using them to the maximum as possible to obtain a 2/3 majority.

Whatever said, it all depends on March 8, 2008, the polling day.

Does the people need facelift for their mosque?
Is it the priority agenda?
Why now only?
Place of worship can be anywhere, its a bad choice to give the goodies.?
It shows disrespect to voters integrity and mentality.
And and and however negative one need to interprete.
Nothing positive, goodies are a norm from govt to people and should be spread out in the five year in a term.
