AN UNTOLD STORY OF LEE KUAN YEW AND SINGAPORE

Alot of Malaysian praise Singapore and its former premier Lee Kuan Yew, but fail to realise that there were many flaws that were actually swept under the carpet to achieve his goals.
This video will tell you a different story: A true untold story : http://www.ziddu.com/viewfile.php?uid=aq6dmJWnb66hnOKnZqqhkZSqY6yal5yq6&secureid=yh4io8

Yes LKY is also human and erred. But at least nine things that I admire him of;

1.He succeeded in controlling corruption in the Party, government and civil servant.

2.He raised the salary of their ministers, government servants, and regulatory agencies to millions a year - yet there don't have a politician having a 7 million palace. Our minister salary is only less than RM50k a month - and we are so proud of telling the world that our Ministers work for ppl not for the salary!

3.Managed to convince and bring the top brains into the government and civil servants.

4.No resources but many times economically better than us that pumped oil and other resources trillion-trillion of ringgit from our ground.

5.They construct laws and are fully enforced. We have hundred of laws, but seem that in Malaysia everybody is breaking the law. Even Singaporean break laws in Malaysia - but not there.

6.Many people accused LKY and his team of abusing power and corrupt - he charged them in courts. And the courts decide. And the issue clarified and stopped. But rumors in Malaysia, was never settled in courts - why?

7.We started MSC – but he make money out of the idea.

8. His DPM was in Hague throughout the ICC hearing on batu putih, but we didn’t – A level of commitment to the country that was installed by the LKY.

9. Tan Sri Razali use to say “We must call a spade, a spade” we say it, but LKW practiced it.

He is/was a dictator, but so do/did our prime ministers... One writer said “Finding petrol (and resources) is more of a course to the country then a blessing” Is that the real source of our problems?
