MCA DIVISIONAL LEADERS BRIEFING TODAY SEEM TO HAVE ACHIEVE NOTHING

There is a saying : just talking alot and not doing anything concrete will never achieve its intended goal. This could actually sum-up today MCA Divisional Leaders briefing at MCA Headquarters. It was reported that the only stand taken was that the 28 November 2009 EGM call by rival-group of Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai has been classified as unconstitutional.

Some 620 divisional leaders from 155 divisions attended today briefing. MCA has 191 divisions and it was reported that the balance had refrain themselves since they support Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, who was also missing at the briefing.

It was reported that MCA leaders claim that Vice President Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai seem to be supported by the ousted group to regain its presence. Datuk Seri Liow had summoned for a second EGM on 28 November 2009 to call for fresh leadership polls to solve the present crisis. It is also learnt that Datuk Seri Liow is expected to brief PM and BN Chairman Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to receive his blessings.

The briefing also discussed in detail the Greater Unity Plan proposed by MCA President Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat.

MCA will immediately need to resolve its leadership crisis, failing which the Chinese community will not benefit from the BN programme that is underway.
