About 15,000 MIC members and supporters were at a meeting with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi this evening at the Cheras Badminton Stadium to show that the Indian community fully support the ruling Barisan Nasional government.
The Federal Territory MIC organised this “An Evening with the Prime Minister” event and it was a success.
It is hoped that since the support shown after the adverse effect shown by the recent Hindraf rally on November 25, 2007, the ruling Barisan Nasional will immediately introduce a programme to uplift the Indian Community who have been marginalised.
