ELECTION COMMISSION WITHDRAWS USE OF INDELIBLE INK


The Election Commission Chairperson, Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman announced this afternoon that the proposed indelible ink would not be used during this coming polls, citing public order and security issues as the reasons.

The announcement made at PutraJaya was also attended by Attorney General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail dan Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan.

Malaysians have been expecting that the use of this ink would reduce the chances of fraud in the polls.

Its bye...bye to INDELIBLE INK.
