Yeah Shaberry seems to go astray all the time... Anwar also have some astray moment especially went being attack on personel ground..

overall it is a "good" debate...

Anyway, it is just something political... Will the oil price come down ?? I dont think so... Will Anwar become a PM... I also doubt it..

Only if the Government could listen and follow Anwar suggestions....

I don't agree for the petrol price to be reduced. But I think the minister miss a great point.

If the differential price between us and neighbors is great - there will be a lot of illegal border crossing. Very high cost on enforcement and also could lead to many abuses and corruptions. It could also lead to the sharp increase of the underworld crimes at the boarders.

The real issue is in the abuse, inefficiency, unproductive, unsustainable use and mismanagement of the money that petronas gives to the government (Amount to about half trillion Ringgit so far)

1. I agree with the step government take to pay directly to car owners.

2. I would also suggest that government gives say RM2,000 to every adult Malaysian. The payment is made directly into the Mycard. A citizen has to produce the Mycard to the bank, and verify with the thumb print that is incorporated into the Mycard before he can withdraw the money. Let every citizen of Malaysia enjoy the petro money - Even if he doesn't have a car.

3. Then will the inflation crops in? Yes. But there also more money that are well distributed in the country. It could also lead to the increase of liquidity.
