WILL 16 SEPTEMBER 2008 BE A REALITY

Will PAKATAN RAKYAT topple the present BN government by 16 September 2008?

The rakyat wants a CHANGE and is hoping that Pakatan Rakyat will form the next Malaysian government with the assistance of 'cross-over' members of parliament from the ruling Barisan Nasional.

Time will tell.

DATUK SERI ANWAR AND HIS HAPPY FAMILY

Malaysiakini and various other online news like Agendadaily have reported that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is setting the pace to get himself elected as a Member of Parliament although 'certain forces' are desperately try to pin a sodomy charge against him to disqualify Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from contesting. With his 'happy' family at the press conference where his wife, Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail had announced that she had handed her resignation letter as MP for Permatang Pauh to the Dewan Rakyat Speaker and is giving way to her husband Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to contest this seat, which is considered a very safe for for Paktan Rakyat and Datuk Seri Anwar.
Datuk Seri Anwar had openly stressed that the police are expected to ARREST him anytime now although various evidences and testimonies have been against the sodomy allegation. Certain 'powerful forces' within the government are influencing the police to immediately take action.
Will Datuk Seri Anwar be given this opportunity to contest and make 16 September 2008 a reality?

DATIN SERI WAN AZIZAH WAN ISMAIL 'RESIGNS' AS MP FOR PERMATANG PAUH

Malaysiakini reported this evening that Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail had submitted her resignation letter as a Member of Parliament for Permatang Pauh to the Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia this afternoon.

PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE —31 JULY 2008, PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA

After deliberating with my family, the Keadilan party leadership and our partners in the Pakatan Rakyat, I have officially submitted my resignation as Member of Parliament of Permatang Pauh to the Speaker of Parliament YB Tan Sri Datuk Pandikar Amin Bin Hj. Mulia today to make way for my husband, Anwar Ibrahim, to contest as a candidate for Pakatan Rakyat in a by-election as soon as possible.

This is consistent with our goals towards securing a Parliamentary majority and forming a new government within this year.

This decision is the right decision for Malaysia.

The nation now faces some of the greatest challenges it has encountered since gaining independence. The UMNO-led Barisan Nasional government has mismanaged the economy and steered the nation towards a catastrophe. It has allowed the integrity of the justice system to fall into deeper infamy. It has stroked the flames of racism and driven a wedge of mistrust between Malays, Chinese and Indians, while thoroughly neglecting the needs of the indigenous peoples of Sabah and Sarawak.

Anwar Ibrahim has articulated a vision for Malaysia that has brought hope to the people. He has the experience and intelligence to reinvigorate our economy, and the charisma and integrity to unite the Malaysian people and restore credibility to our institutions of governance. I will continue to serve as president of Parti Keadilan Rakyat and as chairperson of the Yayasan Aman (Peace Foundation).\

I whole-heartedly thank my supporters in Permatang Pauh who have stood by me in the most difficult of times since September 1998 and have shared in the joy of victory we all experienced on March 8th. The future of our nation lies in the dedication and commitment to justice and freedom that I have experienced as your representative in Parliament and I look forward to many more years of serving you with sincerity and with humility.

DATUK SERI WAN AZIZAH WAN ISMAIL
President Parti Keadilan Rakyat
Looking at the current situation and with this resignation, it is more likely that the police will ARREST Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim anytime from now under the sodomy charge so that he will become ineligible to stand as a candidate.
We will need to wait and see what SURPRISES our BN government will spring out.

SODOMY CLAIM - ANOTHER 'COVER-UP' IN THE MAKING

Malaysiakini reported that Pusat Rawatan Islam (Pusrawi) held a press conference today to disclose that the examination conducted on Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan four hours before lodging a police report was not related to SODOMY.

In a five-paragraph statement distributed to reporters, the hospital's General Manager, Wan Mahmood Wan Yaacob informed that it has not released any official reports pertaining to the case. Also present at the press conference was hospital's Medical Director Kamaruddin Ahmad.
After examining Saiful, Wan Mahmood told that the doctor, Dr Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid advised the patient to undergo an examination by a specialist at a government hospital.
Kamaruddin said the doctor who examined Saiful was not a specialist and is not qualified to make any conclusions on sodomy. Wan Mahmood added that the examination was related to Saiful's complaint of having pain in the anus when passing motion.
It seems that a new COVER-UP is in the making.
It seems very clear that the Barisan Nasional government wants to create a big issue on this sodomy allegation so as to refrain Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim from contesting in a by-election and from toppling the current BN government as claimed by Datuk Seri Anwar.
The Barisan Nasional government seem to be using the police force to ARREST Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and charge him for sodomising Saiful.
Just imagine what the POLITICAL POWER that the rakyat had entrusted to the Barisan Nasional government is been used for. Rather than to ensure that real criminals are prosecuted, it seems that anyone who goes against the BN government can be 'cooked-up' by criminal charges.
Time for the rakyat to DEMAND the Yang DiPertuan Agong to terminate the Barisan Nasional government and replace by a neutral caretaker government. The Police force, Attorney-General's Chambers and Judiciary should also be suspended pending outcome of the Royal Commission of Inquiry, that has to be established.

RAKYAT HAS LOST CONFIDENCE ON THE BARISAN NASIONAL GOVERNMENT

The rakyat has already lost confidence with the current government and its administration and is seeking redress from their corrupt and irresponsible administration.

The ruling Barisan Nasional government has now proven to be involved in a political conspiracy theory to overthrow the Opposition Pakatan Rakyat by dubious means by creating a framing-up of a sodomy charge on one of its partner's adviser, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who had be very vocal since the March general election.

Datuk Seri Anwar had recently announced that he is the prime minister in waiting, which must have created further fears among the Barisan Nasional leaders. Datuk Seri Anwar has already started his nationwide rally to garner greater support from the rakyat and also to seek a suitable parliamentary seat in order to secure that position.

The Barisan Nasional leaders are currently involved in various problems and incidents and have been using the police and Attorney-General's Chambers to avoid 'any prosecution' to their advantage. The matters relate to murder, fuel hike, corruption and many more.

Looking at the current scenario and the diminishing confidence of the rakyat on the Barisan Nasional, its time for the Yang DiPertuan Agong to withdraw the letter of instrument given to the head of the Barisan Nasional coalition who have gained a slim majority during the recent March general elections to form the government and to APPOINT a caretaker government comprising of Opposition and ruling BN elected representatives in place of the current Cabinet Members, so that the government could continue to function normally. The Yang DiPertuan Agong would also have to SUSPEND the Royal Malaysian Police and replace it with the Military temporarily to ensure security is maintained. The Attorney-General's Chambers and the Judiciary should be SUSPENDED to ensure that confidence of justice to be served will be upheld and served according to the laws of Malaysia.

A Royal Commission of Inquiry should be immediately be established to investigate the matters involved and appropriate action been taken against those who have manipulated the system to undermine the trust given by the rakyat.

The rakyat is seeking redress against the NO CONFIDENCE in the administration of the country and the only way this could be done is by the Yang DiPertuan Agong withdrawing his consent on the current 'corrupted and irresponsible' Barisan Nasional government from continuing to govern the country.

Will the Yang DiPertuan Agong use his 'power' to bail the rakyat.

SODOMY ACCUSATION CONFIRMS PLOT TO FRAME ANWAR

Malaysiakini reported that the sodomy accusation on PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is a plot to frame him politically since the surface of a medical report from Pusrawi which indicates that Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan had not been sodomised.
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim informed that the leaked medical report of Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan confirmed that the sodomy allegation made against him was baseless and politically motivated.
Datuk Seri Anwar told a packed press conference for over 40 minutes at the party's headquarters in Petaling Jaya this morning that the Hospital Pusrawi (Pusat Rawatan Islam) medical report on Saiful proved that his 23-year-old ex-aide was an "outright liar".
Datuk Seri Anwar told "the hospital report leaked yesterday confirms our contention that the allegations levelled against me are baseless and politically motivated and that the complainant is an outright liar working hand in glove with those in power to assassinate my character while this report makes a mockery of the so-called ‘impartial police investigations' and clearly shows the dubious but persistent attempts to incriminate me by whatever means employable."
It very clear to the rakyat that the whole government machinery had been used to frame this sodomy charge and rightfully the Barisan Nasional government need to be REMOVED immediately to avoid further framing-up.
A Royal Commission of Inquiry need to be established immediately by the Yang DiPertuan Agong and a new caretaker government need to be appointed immediately until this matter had been investigated and dealt with.
The ruling Barisan Nasional government, the entire police force and judiciary including the Attorney-General chambers should be SUSPENDED immediately and an investigation conducted, to ensure that justice is served in fairness to every citizen.
Will our Yang DiPertuan Agong immediately do it to protect the rakyat from these irresponsible act by these group of people whom the rakyat had entrusted them to perform according to the laws of Malaysia.

POLICE CLAIM PUSRAWI SODOMY MEDICAL REPORT ARE ATTEMPTS TO CONFUSE PUBLIC

Police have slammed a online news portal Malaysiakini, which claimed that a private hospital doctor who had examined Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan had been arrested.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar said the articles were just another attempt by certain quarters to confuse the public over the on-going investigation into Mohd Saiful's police report alleging that he had been sodomised by PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The online articles posted a medical report which said there was “zero active bleeding”, “zero ulcer or pus” and “zero tear and scar” in Mohd Saiful’s anus.

The Deputy IGP stated “There is no truth to these allegations."

"In fact we interviewed the aforementioned Burmese Muslim doctor in the early stages of our investigation following the report lodged by Saiful.

“Neither did we arrest the doctor or detain him for three days as alleged in the MalaysiaToday article. We do not have any plans to do so either,” Ismail said, declining to comment further.

Deputy Minister of Health Datuk Dr Abdul Latif quoted that it is improper for the online news portal to publish the article which would confuse the public that the act did not happen and their actions are mala fide. The Deputy Minister further stated that since this is a criminal offence, there are procedures that the duty doctor need to adhere to.
Was Saiful actually SODOMISED?

PUSRAWI DOCTOR - NO SIGNS OF SODOMY

Malaysiakini reported that there is no evidence that Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan was sodomised, according to the doctor who examined him four hours before Saiful lodged a police report alleging he was sexually assaulted by PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

A copy of the report is shown here:

It is believed that Datuk Seri Anwar's former aide Saiful visited two different hospitals on 28 June 2008 - the day he lodged the police report claiming that he was sodomised by his ex-boss.

Saiful first went to Hospital Pusrawi (Pusat Rawatan Islam) in Jalan Tun Razak - a government-linked Islamic medical institution - at about 2pm. According to the report, Saiful went to the hospital complaining of 'tenesmus' - a medical term for difficulty and pain in passing motion and was examined by Dr Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid, the medical officer on duty.

The doctor informed that the patient had alleged he was assaulted by the intrusion of a piece of "plastic" in the anus. Dr Mohamed Osman, according to his medical report which was recorded at 2.14pm, found "zero active bleeding", "zero ulcer or pus", "zero tear and scar" in Saiful's anus. The doctor noted that Saiful appeared "alert", "comfortable", "not pale" and did not show any fever symptoms.

Its reported that Pusrawi hospital had launched an internal investigation on how Saiful's medical report was leaked, which is widely considered as a major infringement of patient privacy.

Look at how the political conspiracy had taken place.

UMNO/BN A 'LIABILITY' TO MALAYSIANS

Malaysiakini reported that UMNO and PAS had 3 secret muzakarah or dialogue on power-sharing after the disastrous March 8 general elections and if their discussions had been successful, the rakyat would have seen UMNO/BN controlling all the States through the 'back door' concept which UMNO is famous of doing at any cost, just to remain and control 'power'.

To avoid controversies from the faithfully voters from non-PAS members and non-Malays, they had kept it a secret but when it was exposed by UMNO Supreme Council member and former Selangor Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Dr Khir Toyo, they have deem these meetings or dialogue to relate to Malay Unity or Islamic Unity.
Yesterday, PAS Spiritual Leader and Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat had proposed the dissolution of both PAS and UMNO and the setting up of a new Islam-based political party to unite the Malays and enable Islam to be the protective umbrella for all the rakyat, including non-Muslims which will fulfilled the objectives of all endeavours, including political struggle, and should form the basis of political parties seeking to uphold the true political struggle while talking to reporters after opening the 37th "Muktamar" (meeting) of Kelantan PAS "Dewan Ulama" (Assembly of Muslim Scholars).
It was further reveal by PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang that these meetings were just attended by 'junior' leaders and PAS does not want a repeat of incidence that happen when PAS had withdrew from Barisan Nasional some years ago. PAS members were made victim of a political revenge like scholarships withdrawn and so forth which had created 'uneasiness among its members then. PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang reaffirmed that their collaboration with Pakatan Rakyat remains and is in tact and informed that PR leaders are fully aware of their 'faithful' stand.
UMNO seem to be desperate in regaining 'power' and feel that by creating 'unrest' in the PR coalition would give them a edge. Since this arrangement by PR partners are relatively new and any 'unrest' will create a rift since previous reunions had shown these results. UMNO as usual wanted to expoilt the situation to their advantage.
UMNO's popularity seems to be diminishing day to day by the rakyat since they are uncaring, ineffective, inefficient and corrupt in every manner and the rakyat seem to feel that they are a liability for the progress of the nation. Recent price hikes, cronyism, corruption and many others are matters that the rakyat dislike which the rakyat is trying to eradicate so that the rakyat can live in peace and harmony.
To make matters worst for UMNO/BN, PR had indicated they will form the next new Malaysian government by 16 September 2008, which the rakyat hope will become a reality. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had recently also reveal that he is the prime minister in the waiting which had given a boost to the rakyat that their hopes will be a reality.
Datuk Seri Anwar had commenced his political rally and told the Pakatan Rakyat alliance was not keen on seizing power just for the sake of it but it was a bid to save the Malaysian economy from jahanam or being destroyed. Datuk Seri Anwar rationalised that the move to contest in a by-election was necessary as Sabah and Sarawak MPs had stressed that he should do so if he is serious, then he must enter Parliament first before any cross-over will take place.
This seem to show that UMNO/BN are already having their FEARS and if NOTHING happens will become a LIABILITY for the rakyat to endure.

IS THE TERENGGANU MERCEDES PURCHASE FOR USE BY EXCO OR VISITORS?

Malaysiakini had reported that the issue of the purchase of 14 Mercedes Benz by the Terengganu State government had been resolved with the approval been received by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
New reports indicate that these vehicles are supposed to be used to ferry visitors and not for the State Executive Councillors.
So which news is true.
We have yet to hear what PM Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has said. But sources say that the Prime Minister had stated that he approves the purchase of these 14 Mercedes Benz but they must be use for official visitors and the State Executive Councillors will still have to use the Proton Perdana V6 as directed by the federal government.
Now, the question is why have 14 Mercedes Benz VIP cars. This clearly demonstrates that the Barisan Nasional State government has just wasted public funds for a non-worthy cause when the Terengganu rakyat are crying for help due to hikes in prices.

PAS & MALAY OR ISLAMIC UNITY - WHY ALL THIS FUSS?

Malaysiakini had widely reported about the Malay or Islamic Unity discussion or muzakarah by PAS and UMNO were held for a few times since the March general elections. Various comments have been levelled by bloggers and writers regarding this 'mysterious and secret' talks until it had surfaced recently. Recent reports have indicated that UMNO had even offered the Prime Minister's position and/or the Selangor Menteri Besar's post to PAS if they(PAS) agree to cross-over to the Barisan Nasional and team up with UMNO. These were revealed by former Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Khir Toyo a few days ago.

This issue had blown out of proportion to the fact that PAS which claims to champion the malay Islamic cause had branded all its opponents including UMNO as 'kafirs' (infidels)and the sudden teaming-up and having secret talks in the name of Islam or Malay had take the Malaysia rakyat by surprise.

Everyone is familiar with the intentions of UMNO after their disastrous defeat in the recent March general elections and where they (UMNO/BN) lost 5 States to the Opposition and also having lost its majority (2/3) in Parliament. Ever since then there are rumours that BN elected representatives are going to 'cross-over' to the Opposition Pakatan Rakyat (BR) to topple the BN government. UMNO is actual worried about its slim majority and the shame it is going to endure if investigations on its mismanagement and corrupt practises are revealed to the rakyat by these new Opposition State governments. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is confident that PR will take control of the government by 16 September 2008, which also worries UMNO since there are a lot of stakes to be lost which will see the ultimate demise of UMNO and BN.

PAS on the other hand had gained control of a few unexpected seats in the March general elections due to the efforts of their collaboration with PR and due to the no-confidence stand by the rakyat on the BN who are branded 'uncaring, ineffective, inefficient and corrupt'. PAS had also open its doors to non-Muslims which also boost their confidence.

What the rakyat could not have expected is these so-called religious leaders of PAS had backstabbed the rakyat by having a few talks with this 'useless and corrupt' UMNO, whose main motive is to remain in power forever which will allow them to swindle the country's resources. PAS is familiar with their intentions but had continued to accomodate and done it.

It seems that PAS has a lot of explanations to do since the rakyat has got 'second thoughts' of its real intention. Being educated scholars from renowned Islamic institutions, they should have used their wisdom and NOT in this manner. No one can blame MalaysiaToday blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin to be critical in his articles regarding their talks http://w2.malaysia-today.net/content/view/10365/1/ and http://w2.malaysia-today.net/content/view/10344/1/. Some interesting article to ponder on are http://w2.malaysia-today.net/content/view/10361/84/ and http://w2.malaysia-today.net/content/view/10241/84/.

Now, Malaysians will know WHAT THE FUSS IS ALL ABOUT. It looks like certain groups have failed to keep within their main frame and honour the rakyat's trust.

Will Malaysian, whether Malays or non-Malays TRUST PAS anymore?

PRIME MINISTER AGREE TERENGGANU TO USE MERCEDES

Malaysiakini reported that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has finally agreed to the decision by the Terengganu State Government in their purchase of 14 brand new Mercedes E200 Kompressors for RM3.43million for the use of their State Executive Councillors, in place of a government directive of Proton Perdana V6 Executive cars have to be used which according to the Terengganu government has a very high maintenance cost.
This was conveyed yesterday while speaking to reporters after chairing the UMNO Supreme Council Meeting in Kuala Lumpur. The state government started using these vehicles from yesterday.
This certainly shows that our Barisan Nasional government had wasted public funds in commencing this Proton project. With rising fuel cost and high cost of maintenance of proton cars, it will not be long that this company will face a bleak situation and would require a another BAIL OFF. Once again public funds are going to be wasted on BN's corrupt ideas just to uplift and make UMNOputra leaders rich.
Its time for the rakyat to GET RID of this 'useless and corrupt' Barisan Nasional government NOW before more damage is created by these irresponsible leaders.

PAS TO REMAIN LOYAL & COMMITTED TO PAKATAN RAKYAT EVEN TEMPTED BY UMNO TO GIVE PRIME MINISTER'S POST

Malaysiakini reported that PAS had reaffirmed that they will be loyal and committed to the struggle of Pakatan Rakyat (PR) even if UMNO tempts to offer the Prime Minister's position to PAS. This was informed by PAS Youth chief Salahuddin Ayub during a press conference at the PAS headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today after their Meeting.

Salahuddin stated that "We will definitely oppose anyone who tempt us into accepting positions because we belong to a principled party," while he stressed that PAS is governed by values and a strong mandate from voters.

Some years ago PAS was a component party of the Barisan Nasional and really know the 'tricks' played by UMNO just to remain itself in power.

Looking at the feelings of the rakyat, it is very clear that they are FED-UP with this uncaring, ineffective, inefficient and corrupted Barisan Nasional government and are seeking a new party to govern this country.

Why should PAS join the BN?

UMNO - A MENACE AND A TRAITOR TO MALAYSIANS

Malaysiakini reported today that UMNO did have a muzakarah (discussions) with PAS on a possibility of a merger in Selangor so that UMNO through BN and PAS could control the Selangor State government while UMNO had offered the post of Menteri Besar to PAS. But since PAS had smelt a 'threat', this meeting failed. The details of this meeting was reconfirmed by former Selangor Menteri Besar and UMNO Supreme Council member, Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Khir Toyo. Now, UMNO seems to use this 'casual meeting' to create a rift between the Pakatan Rakyat (PR) partners by claiming that PAS is going to break-up from PR.

UMNO President and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi revealed on Sunday that UMNO had held three talks with PAS leaders to discuss matters pertaining to Islam and the Malays but this seem to be a cover-up on the embarrassment in their failed merger talks and now seem to be using this vital information to create a rift between their PR partners.

Just taking a closer look, one would realise that UMNO dominates BN and what UMNO says only goes. Even MCA or MIC (big brothers of BN together with UMNO) are unable to question UMNO on any of their actions although BN claims every coalition partner has a equal say and rights.

The time has come for Malaysians to discard UMNO or BN by toppling them, so that Malaysians can live in peace and harmony among one another and have a prosperous future ahead.

WHY IS MOHD SAIFUL BUKHARI AZLAN HIDING AFTER PERFORMING AN ILLEGAL ACT?

Malaysiakini reported that the family of alleged sodomy victim Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan have given their unyielding support to him although the family knows that it is HARAM in Islam and there is a punishment that must be met according to Allah.
Another interesting scenario is that he is now in hiding after having committed a crime according to Allah's teaching. Saiful should stop this act of hiding and reappear and face the Shariah Court for their punishment according to Shariah law. Since there are claims that this whole episode is a political conspiracy of this weak Barisan Nasional government, then he must be held in hiding to safeguard the actual truth from been revealed to the rakyat.
It is a real pity that the family are condoning this illegal act of their son unless he has been 'paid handsomely' for this frame-up. Allah would punish anyone who has a bad and deceitful agenda in performing an illegal act.
Its time for Saiful to resurface and accept the punishment and EMBARRASSMENT from the public for this illegal act.
Will Saiful do it or be allowed to do it?

PM DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI SAYS IGP TAN SRI MUSA HASSAN & AG TAN SRI ABD GANI PATAIL BARRED FROM DATUK SERI ANWAR'S SODOMY CASE

Malaysiakini reported that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has informed while talking to reporters in Penang Island yesterday that the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Attorney-General (AG) Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail are barred from the sodomy case of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Datuk Seri Abdullah said that IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail would have no role in the case and that there was no reason to suspend them, as the Opposition had called for, as they would not be involved in the probe.

Datuk Seri Anwar had claimed that during his original case in 1998, Tan Sri Musa and Tan Sri Gani had fabricated and manipulated evidence in the case in an investigation into the severe beating Datuk Sri Anwar received when he was in police custody at that time, and fear a similar situation will occur if these two persons are allowed into this probe.

What that surprises us is PM Datuk Sri Abdullah thinks we, Malaysians are 'stupid' to buy his story. These two person are still IGP and AG and have absolute control of their respective departments and being their head, obviously their subordinates who are involved in this case will have to adhere to their 'instructions', although on the surface it may seem they are not involved.

To show fairness and since there is a pending case of fabrication which is a CRIME, these two person (IGP and AG) should be arrested and subsequently suspended until the matter has been resolved completely.

In this manner, these two persons will not be able to interfere and use their influence in any decision making.

Will PM Datuk Seri Abdullah be prepared to suspend these two persons IGP and AG immediately.

KARPAL SINGH SAYS PRIME MINISTER DATUK SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI SHOULD SHUT-UP AND NOT INFLUENCE POLICE INVESTIGATION

Malaysiakini reported that DAP chairman and Member of Parliament for Bukit Gelugor, Karpal Singh has warned Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and his ministers not to volunteer unsolicited comments that may compromise police investigations into PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s alleged sodomy offence.
Datuk Seri Anwar was arrested on Wednesday over sodomy allegations levelled against him by his ex-aide Saiful Bukhari Azlan and he had refused to give a DNA sample on grounds that the sample could be tampered with. Datuk Seri Anwar will not consent to giving a DNA sample even if the police obtain a court order unless stringent conditions are met. This includes having all medical samples and examinations or tests conducted in relation to the sodomy allegation must be proven to have been carried out professionally and without interference.
Karpal also noted that there is no legal provision in the Criminal Procedure Code to compel a person arrested in the course of investigations to undergo DNA tests. Karpal pointed out that former judge Datuk K C Vohrah in 2000 ruled that a person is perfectly entitled to refuse DNA testing while the judge added that whoever carries out such testing without the person’s consent would violate Section 232 of the Penal Code for voluntary causing hurt to a person.
On that grounds, Karpal had urged the executive to leave the investigation to the police. Karpal added that “Datuk Seri Anwar is entitled to an investigation which is not procedurally flawed and contaminated by outbursts from politicians in high places.”
Karpal had made this remark in response to Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar quoted as saying that “What is (Datuk Seri Anwar) afraid of? Give blood sample for the sake of truth,” as reported by New Straits Times yesterday.
Karpal further claimed that Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar should be prepared to face the consequences for defaming Datuk Seri Anwar for these statements and innuendos.
From the scenario, it seem that this whole episode seem to be a political conspiracy of the Barisan Nasional government to undermine the STRONG and ABLE Opposition who are speculated to topple them very soon and form the next Malaysian government.

PM DATUK SERI ABDULLAH SAYS DNA SPECIMEN OBSOLETE BUT FORENSIC EXPERTS SAY CAN BE CONSERVED FOR YEARS

Malaysiakini reported that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi supporting the claim by the police that a fresh DNA from Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was required to establish the sodomy claim. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah further informed that the previous DNA sample was too old since it was almost 10 years and no longer 'good'.

But forensic experts claim that DNA samples could be conserved for years and still be able to produce the required results.

Looking at both these statements it could be established that our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah is seem still 'sleeping' and does not have his facts straight.

It could now be established that this whole episode could have been 'politically motivated' since until now the accused police report have yet to be given to Datuk Seri Anwar or his lawyer to review.

It seems that this weak and 'useless' Barisan Nasional government seem to be 'cooking-up' claims against the Opposition leaders since their popularity seem to be diminishing day by day with numerous problems like fuel hike protest, statutory declarations and so forth, with many more to come.

It time for the rakyat to demand for a Royal Commission of Inquiry on this matter since there seems to be alot of abuse of power been carried out by the police and the BN government.

Day by day, this uncaring, ineffective, inefficient and corrupt Barisan Nasional government seem to contradict their own statements and its time for the rakyat to demand this BN government to STOP ruling the country, to give way for a more reliable, efficient, effective and corrupt-free government.

Will the Barisan Nasional do it?

PAS TO REMAIN WITH PAKATAN RAKYAT

PAS President, DatoSeri Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang reaffirmed that they will remain with Pakatan Rakyat (PR) although it was earlier speculated that PAS was withdrawing over the arrest and charge of PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim over the alleged sodomy charge.
It is hoped that the coalition of Pakatan Rakyat parties are hopeful to form the next Malaysian government on or before 16 September 2008 on a “trustworthy, clean and just” concept .

WHAT HAS HAPPEN TO SAIFUL'S POLICE REPORT?

Malaysiakini was quoted as saying that the police report lodged by alleged sodomy victim Saiful Bukhari Azlan has not be given to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim although numerous request have been made.
It seems that the police report may be tampered with to suit Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's statement given last night and this morning. It seems that the police are very good at fabricating new evidences, as the previous occasion speaks for itself.
With the non-disclosure of the accused police report, the police has further tarnished its name and reputation.
Can the rakyat TRUST THE POLICE ANYMORE.

ANWAR NARRATES HIS VERSION OF THE INCIDENT - CAN YOU TRUST THE POLICE ANYMORE

Datuk Seri Anwar's version of events leading to arrest and release:
On Saturday, 12-07-2008, the police came to my house to serve a Section 111 Criminal Procedure Code notice, harassing my family and demanding my presence at the IPK Kuala Lumpur (Federal Territories Police headquarters) at 2pm on Monday, 14-07-2008 despite an earlier agreement with my lawyers for me to come to the IPK on Monday 14-07-2008. On the next day, Sunday, the police also served an ex-parte court order, prohibiting me from physically being within 5 km from the Parliament on Monday 14-07-2008. As you can see, my house and the IPK KL are within 5 km radius from the parliament building. The court order effectively put me under house arrest on Monday and at the same time prevented me from going to the IPK.

On Monday, 14-07-2008, the presence of police personnel outside the compound of my house strengthened our suspicions that they would be prepared to arrest me as soon as I left the compound of my residence, on the pretext of me violating the court order. The issue here, is which order should I comply with, the ex-parte court order or the Section 111 notice from the police?

On the same day, the police through the Investigating Officer, one DSP Jude Pereira wrote and faxed to my lawyer at about 1.06pm, informing that I was required to be present at the IPK KL on Wednesday, 16-07-2008 at 2.00 pm to assist with the investigation. I conveyed my agreement to the appointment and it was communicated to the police through my solicitor, Messrs S.N Nair and Partners via telephone and letter on the same day.

On Wednesday, 16-07-2008, I was at the Anti Corruption Agency (BPR) head office to record my statement pursuant to the police report lodged by me at IPK Shah Alam on 01-07-2008, against the Attorney General Gani Patail and the Inspector General of Police Musa Hassan for their involvement in the fabrication of evidence way back in 1998. To ensure that we will be able to attend the appointment with the police at 2pm, we cut short our statement at the BPR’s office, and this fact was clearly conveyed to the BPR officers present.

At about 12.45 pm, the IO, DSP Jude Pereira called Mr Nair to confirm about our attendance and Mr. Nair confirmed that we would attend that 2pm appointment. We were about to have a quick lunch at my house before proceeding to the IPK. 5 minutes later, we were ambushed by a team of masked and heavily armed police personnel near my house.

I was arrested and brought to the IPK. I cooperated fully with the police by giving my cautioned statement from 2.30 pm to about 7.30 pm. At this particular point, the IO and the other officers handling this case were doing their job professionally. I was then given assurances by Assistant Commissioner of Police Razali and later Senior Assistant Commissioner II Khor (through my lawyer) that I would be released on police bail on the same day.

However, later on, upon my return from Kuala Lumpur General Hospotal (HKL), the IO, DSP Jude Pereira informed me and my lawyers that I will be detained and put in the police lock-up overnight for the purpose of recording a further statement in the morning.

I and my lawyers protested, giving our undertaking that we will be back anytime required by the police to continue with the recording of the statement, and there was no need for me to be detained overnight, and that I should be released on police bail. The police, through the IO were adamant that I should be detained and put in the police lock-up overnight, despite them knowing about my physical condition. I had to spend the night sleeping on a cold cement floor, which aggravated my back injury which was due to the beating I received from the then IGP, Tan Sri Rahim Nor on 20th September, 1998.

This morning, after a short statement that was recorded for about 30 minutes, I was released on police bail. I was in pain and had to immediately receive some medical treatment upon my return home.

I now wish to deal with the statement of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Director, Dato Mohd Bakri Mohd Zinin as appeared in Utusan Malaysia today, inter alia
“Pasukan khas bertopeng polis terpaksa memintas kenderaan DSAI di Bukit Segambut di sini dan menahan Anwar ekoran tindakan Penasihat PKR itu mengubah haluan kenderaannya pada saat-saat tempoh yang diberi kepadanya untuk menyerah diri kepada polis pada pukul 2 petang ini hampir berakhir”

This is a blatant lie from the CID director to cover up their shameful act of abuse of police powers. I have given the assurances and had just informed the IO 5 minutes before the disgraceful ambush by the police through my lawyer who was with me in the same car.

In addition to the above, the Deputy Home Minister, Wan Farid said, as reported in Star Online that, I “went voluntarily to the police car without any incident.” Again, this is also a blatant lie by the government.

I take to task the IGP for this abuse of police power against me through the events I’ve narrated above. It appears that the events of the last few days, the nature of my unwarranted arrest, my overnight incarceration which was actually absolutely unnecessary, were an act of personal vengeance against me in retaliation to the reports I lodged earlier against him, which are now being investigated by the ACA.

DNA

I have reasonable grounds for having no confidence in the system. In the course of the trial of the false allegations of sodomy in 1998, DNA evidence was fabricated and used against me. The persons responsible for the fabrication then were the IGP, SAC Rodwan and the AG, are new key players in this investigation.

Until now, I have been denied access to the police report made by the accuser against me.
My accuser is still under police protection and as such, any fabrication is possible if they take my DNA. My decision to refuse a DNA test is taken through advice of my lawyers and DNA experts, both local and overseas.

ANWAR IBRAHIM
From the above, we can evaluate that the police had exceeded their powers without any care for the rights of the citizens and a Royal Commission of Inquiry should be set up immediately to investigate and see what course of action need to be taken against the police force.
Will this BN government do it?
