NEW PLANS SHOW INDIANS NOT MARGINALISED - IS THIS A JOKE

Malaysiakini reported that Datuk Dr Subramaniam, the Secretary-General of MIC and only sole Indian Cabinet member claiming that the new plans unveil on Tuesday by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Abdul Razak on a series of measures unveiled by the government recently to help the Indian community is a sign that the Indians were never marginalised.
The new plans cover several policies to help uplift the community’s opportunity in the fields of education, business and civil service.
The announcement was made by the deputy premier after chairing the Cabinet Meeting on Indian community which was attended by various government agencies and MIC top guns like party president Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu.
“As a responsible government, not only has it responded to the message (by voters), it also sent the message back to the community that ‘look here, we never intended to marginalise you’.”“We (government) have been helping (the community) and if there are issues now, we will continue to address them and we are sincere in wanting to address them,” said Datuk Dr Subramaniam during an interview at his ministerial office in Parliament earlier this week.
Datuk Dr Subramaniam described the outcome of the meeting as a “major achievement” for the MIC and praised the government for their commitment to address the Indian community’s problem.
Its surprising a first timer and sole Indian cabinet member praising when Datuk Seri SamyVellu for 22 years had failed to perform what he is praising about.
The Indians will always treat these statements as just 'empty talks' since many promises made for years were still unkept.
What is so different now. Just that now another MIC leader is bragging about it.
MIC need to realise the Indian community is fully aware that they are always unable to fulfill their obligations since they are just mere 'under-dogs' to UMNO. The Indian community can only progress and get themselves uplifted if a new and able government is in place. Maybe, BN may assist but these are only channel to MIC leaders and their families and their cronies.

“It's for the community to move forward now and avail themselves to these opportunities. Of course the opportunity can be given but the person must also take the initiative to come forward"

Just don't push everything away before it get delivered.

If we think its only for MIC's cronies to be benefited. Then push the deserved ppl forward to claim what the government got to offer.

Not pushing them away from the opportunities that been offered to them.

NOT EVERYTHING EVOLVES AROUND POLITICS SIR.

This is another attempt to belittle the indian intelligence by those MIC creeps.

Worse still this shameless Dr.Subra has the audacity to claim credit for these latest lies by the govt as an achievement by MIC.

Hello subra n samy'

The credit should go to Hindraf and our 5 brothers who are languishing in jail,if at all these racist govt decides to implement at least 5% of its latest promises in the next 5 years.

Just walk your talk.Get those 5 out first. Then get those poor 40,000 kids their birthcertificates and enrol them in school.Do these 2 first, then we take our hats off.

I urge my fellow indian bros n sis' not to fall for all these peanut promises. If it comes your way, well grab it but dont lose your principles. As long as they dont release our 5 `warriors' means the govt is not sincere in helping the Indian community.

Dont forget the slogan `MAKKAL SAKTHI'

May god bless all of us.
