Malaysiakini reported that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has informed while talking to reporters in Penang Island yesterday that the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Attorney-General (AG) Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail are barred from the sodomy case of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Datuk Seri Abdullah said that IGP Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail would have no role in the case and that there was no reason to suspend them, as the Opposition had called for, as they would not be involved in the probe.
Datuk Seri Anwar had claimed that during his original case in 1998, Tan Sri Musa and Tan Sri Gani had fabricated and manipulated evidence in the case in an investigation into the severe beating Datuk Sri Anwar received when he was in police custody at that time, and fear a similar situation will occur if these two persons are allowed into this probe.
What that surprises us is PM Datuk Sri Abdullah thinks we, Malaysians are 'stupid' to buy his story. These two person are still IGP and AG and have absolute control of their respective departments and being their head, obviously their subordinates who are involved in this case will have to adhere to their 'instructions', although on the surface it may seem they are not involved.
To show fairness and since there is a pending case of fabrication which is a CRIME, these two person (IGP and AG) should be arrested and subsequently suspended until the matter has been resolved completely.
In this manner, these two persons will not be able to interfere and use their influence in any decision making.
Will PM Datuk Seri Abdullah be prepared to suspend these two persons IGP and AG immediately.

Aiyaaaa... all this WAYANG only! That Dollah already inform that 2 morons what to do already. And the 2 morons already inform all their dogs what to do. So? Anwar, quickly becom PM and sent ALL the MORONS to the Zoo. Hope you can give me the contract to build the cages!
Would have been more palpable if the IGP and AG had voluntarily recused themselves instead of the PM having to blah blah about it.
To clear up the image of the government, may be the 2 should offer themselves for early retirement.
In developed countries, if such thing happen officers will do PM a big favour by offering themselves to retire (or resign) from their posts.
c what happened in Terengganu
when u let a bunch of BN
state assemblymen run the state.
it has to be german made Compressor
for its exco member.
THE MB is no different from the previous administration.
Only a Pakatan State government
can make a difference.
In Penang the state government even cancelled the order made by the previous state govt.
In Selangor the MB gave an instruction no renovation whatsoever.
Hopefully the people of Terengganu
will realised their mistake
and kicked out this BN state govt
out in the next election.
BTW can THE ACA act and investigate against the state govt
or it will just close one eye
as usual.
