"I strongly deny claims that I will quit. I want to tell Umno, we will work 24 hours a day, seven days a week to destroy them," he said when contacted today.

There has been speculation over Yunus defecting by the Chinese press and pro-Barisan Nasional blogs for several weeks.
Speculation intensified after Bagan Serai MP Mohsin Samsari announced his resignation from PKR yesterday.
To further disprove the rumours, Yunus said he participated in a demonstration this morning at Mohsin's service centre,
which was closed this morning, to demand the latter's resignation as a parliamentarian.
"If he is really struggling for the rakyat, he should open his service centre tomorrow and he himself needs to be here."
Yunus said he was in the company of about 200 Bagan Serai voters, Parit Buntar MP Mujahid Yusuf Rawa (PAS) and several Perak Pakatan state assemblypersons.
