Zulkifli Noordin hints at ‘surprise’ on the political situation in Malaysia soon

Sacked PKR MP Zulkifli Noordin today hinted that a “surprise” event would take place “very soon” during the current sitting of Parliament which would have a huge impact on the political situation in the country.

Without elaborating, the now-independent MP told The Malaysian Insider that the event could involve him or “any of the MPs”.

Asked if he meant that more defections could be expected, Zulkifli (picture) cryptically said: “It is your right to assume anything.”

He, however, said the purported event could occur “depending on the situation”.

“Because whatever that is to be done must be done when it would cause a big impact,” he said at the MPs lounge in the Parliament building here.

Zulkifli added that the event could be a positive one, depending on how people look at it.

He would not offer more details, saying that if he were to reveal more “it would no longer be a surprise”.

MORE TO COME
