It is reported in Agenda daily today that Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz who asked what is the fuss all about Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim claiming that he is going to contest and win in the Permatang Pauh by-election with a big majority. Everyone knows that it is a stronghold of PKR and Datuk Seri Anwar.
Its best we ask Datuk Seri Anwar once elected why he did not do what he preaches now when he was a Deputy Prime Minister and a Barisan Nasional leader. Then the BN MP have the right to cross-examine him on his claims.
When a question was raised that Datuk Seri Anwar will form the next government on or before 16 September 2008, Datuk Nazri informed that the current Barisan Nasional has 140 MPs compared with the Opposition 81 MPs with a single independent. How can he form a government when he does not have a majority. If Datuk Seri Anwar is hoping for any BN MPs to cross-over but there is no indication to this effect.
