DATUK SERI ANWAR LAUNCHES WEBSITE SPECIALLY FOR PERMATANG PAUH BY-ELECTIONS


Malaysiakini reported that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the candidate for PKR in the up-coming by-elections at Permatang Pauh has launched his own website specially to keep the voters informed of the developments.
It had a soft launch yesterday with a theme ‘Dari Permatang Pauh ke Putrajaya’ (From Permatang Pauh to Putrajaya) - a special website for Datuk Seri Anwar’s by-election bid while it will be officially launched on nomination day on 16 August 2008.
This bi-lingual website, an initiative of PKR Permatang Pauh, seeks to post news and announcement of events relating to the by-election, which will take place on Aug 26 after a 10-day campaign by providing help to voters, election workers and the media to get direct information on what is happening in Permatang Pauh.
The website http://permatangpauh.com/index.php will be in four major languages, Malay, English, Chinese and Tamil when fully operational.
