Malaysiakini and other medias reported today that Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar quoting that Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan was not charged since he had turned as a prosecution key witness.
Datuk Seri Syed Hamid further commented that in a criminal justice system, when a person comes forward to report on a matter, the person would be protected.
It is considered haram for Muslims to carry out a act of sodomy and for whatever the explanation, under Shariah Law, Saiful should be prosecuted. Will this government key witness be charged at the syariah court immediately?
