Putting feet deeper in mouth

If you did not believe earlier that Umno or the government is behind Perkasa then surely you do now. If after this you still do not believe that Perkasa is Umno, then can I suggest you go and buy a gun and put a bullet in your head? You are so stupid you do not deserve to live.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

‘Why is Anwar Ibrahim still the opposition leader?’ asked Khairy. I suppose that is a fair question. Seeing that PKR now has the lesser number of seats in parliament compared to DAP, the DAP leader should instead take over as the new opposition leader in parliament.

I suppose Anwar can ask the same thing of Khairy: why is he still the Umno Youth leader? Since the Prime Minister does not have confidence in him or support him, the only and noble thing for Khairy to do is to resign as the Umno Youth leader. I would certainly do that if it happens to me. Heck, the Prime Minister won’t even give him a Cabinet post, the first time in Umno’s history that an Umno Youth leader is being treated in such a manner.

In the past, the Umno Youth leader would tell Umno and the PM what to do. Never would the PM dare ignore the Umno Youth leader. He did so at his own peril. For the Umno Youth leader to be ignored in this manner, as Khairy is, must certainly be a first.

I suggest Anwar and Khairy both make a gentleman’s agreement. Anwar will resign as the opposition leader in parliament (and hand over to Lim Kit Siang) at the same time that Khairy resigns as the Umno Youth leader (and hand over to Mukhriz Mahathir). I feel that is a fair deal. If not, then jangan cakap. Pandai suruh orang lain letak jawatan. Sendiri tak mahu letak jawatan.

Perkasa, the recently formed KKK of Malaysia, has just been given its newspaper permit. Do you know how difficult it is to get a newspaper licence? It is easier to get a gun licence and that is already extremely difficult.

If you did not believe earlier that Umno or the government is behind Perkasa then surely you do now. If after this you still do not believe that Perkasa is Umno, then can I suggest you go and buy a gun and put a bullet in your head? You are so stupid you do not deserve to live.

Let me explain how it works. Umno screams, ‘up with 1Malaysia’. Perkasa screams, ‘down with the Chinese and Indians’. Can you see how one can get his/her cake and eat it too? It is called getting the best of both worlds. And I suppose the Chinese and Indians who receive ‘mother-tongue education’ and are therefore not too clever will still vote for Barisan Nasional because they are too stupid to see this.

Bodoh punya Cina dan India. Bodoh macam lembu. Maybe we need to drag a few more cow heads onto the streets for the benefit of the Chinese and Indians in Barisan Nasional.

And if these Chinese, Indian and ‘lain-lain’ from East Malaysia still think Malaysia Today is talking crap, then please explain why the AG is not going to take action against those two Malay arseholes from that Al-Islam publication.

Really, I don’t think I even want to talk about this. If I need to talk about it then Malaysians are certainly a gone case. I think Malaysians do not deserve being saved. It may be better for this country to go down the long and slippery slope of a failed state. Tiuniamah!

It looks like it is open season on Datuk Salehuddin Hashim, the one-time Secretary General of PKR. I am all for exposing shamans and fakes, and there are many such people in PKR. But get them in the right manner. Don’t make unfounded allegations that prove the opposite in the end.

For example, they say Datuk Saleh wanted the Perangsang CEO job and asked for RM50,000 salary a month. But during PKR’s Biro Politik meeting, the matter was discussed and the Biro Politik supported Datuk Saleh for the job. And it was mentioned in the meeting that Datuk Saleh was prepared to accept a salary of RM1 per month.

There were many people in that meeting. Anwar Ibrahim too knows about this although Anwar has remained very silent and has not confirmed which of the two -- Datuk Saleh or Dr Syed Husin Ali -- is telling the truth.

Syed Husin said RM50,000. Datuk Saleh said RM1. One is lying. Which one is lying? Anwar knows. But why does Anwar not tell us which of the two is the arsehole?

Okay, we can fight, we can quarrel, and we can go our separate ways. But if you reveal what we already agreed would remain a secret between you and me, or you lie, then expect for me to come back for your balls.

Datuk Saleh’s RM9,000 a month salary was supposed to be a private arrangement between him and Anwar. It is a one-to-one thing. It is a ‘between you and me’ deal. Now it appears like Anwar did not keep his side of the bargain and he went and told Syed Husin. And now Syed Husin has told the whole world.

Whatever it may be, there must be some honour between gentlemen. If we agreed that a certain thing is between you and me then it remains between you and me. I may not like Datuk Saleh. I may even be relieved that he has left PKR and is no longer the Sec-Gen of the party. But there must be certain ways of doing things. If we shook hands then our word is our bond. In Datuk Saleh’s case, Anwar demonstrated a not so gentleman’s way of doing things. And Syed Husin had no business revealing a personal arrangement between Anwar and Datuk Saleh.

No, I am not defending Datuk Saleh. I am only scared. I am scared because as Sec-Gen of the party Datuk Saleh knows many secrets. But the honourable thing to do once you leave would be to protect these secrets. You do not kiss and tell.

PKR, however, has laid down new rules. It is okay to kiss and tell. It is okay to shake hands and give your word and then break it later. These are the new rules. This is what they did to Datuk Saleh. So there is no stopping Datuk Saleh from doing the same thing back to them. He can now sing like a canary and reveal PKR’s innermost secrets.

What does Datuk Saleh have to lose when you hit him below the belt like you are doing now? Nothing! He’s a nobody. What can a nobody lose? But what will PKR lose if Datuk Saleh also uses the same tactics and hits back below the belt? A lot! PKR will lose a lot. And I fear that the next few weeks we are going to see just this.

What more are you going to say about Datuk Saleh? You have said everything already. You have nothing more to say. Datuk Saleh, however, has not even started singing. And by the time he finishes you may wish you had parted as friends rather than telanjang bogel him in public. Now he has nothing to lose. I wish I could say the same for PKR. Mampuslah PKR!

Aiyah, those who live in a glasshouse should not throw stones. How many times must I tell you this?

Khairy: Why is Anwar still Opposition Leader?

Allowing Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to stay on as Opposition Leader is an unusual move for Pakatan Rakyat.

Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said this was because Parti Keadilan Rakyat no longer held the majority among the Opposition following the defection of several MPs.

He said political convention dictated that the opposition party with the most number of seats in Dewan Rakyat should have the honour of having one of their MPs become the Opposition Leader.

“In this case, it should be a DAP MP who holds the post since it now commands the majority.

“But Anwar has again been given the privilege to become the Opposition Leader.

“Maybe, the opposition parties – in particular PAS – do not have the confidence to make Lim Kit Siang their leader,” he told reporters after receiving a courtesy call from PPP Youth members at the Barisan Nasional headquarters here yesterday. – The Star

Perkasa to print biweekly

Malay rights group Perkasa has been given a publication permit to print Suara Perkasa.

Its president Datuk Ibrahim Ali said the publication may turn into a daily if the demand was great.

Thanking the Home Ministry for granting the permit to the non-governmental organisation, Ibrahim said it would kick off as a fortnightly.

“When the readership is higher, we will turn it into a weekly publication.

“When the demand grows greater, we will make it a daily,” he said yesterday.

Ibrahim said the group received the letter of approval on Wednesday.

“We have yet to decide on the launch date for the inaugural issue,” he said.

Ibrahim, who is independent Pasir Mas MP, said readers would be enlightened to facts.

Chiding certain portals for presenting “selective” facts that did not portray the real picture, Ibrahim said Suara Perkasa aimed at highlighting issues in a responsible manner.

“People are fed-up reading twisted facts,” he said.

Ibrahim also said that the NGO had started attracting new members.

“We are receiving membership application forms at a rate of about 200 a day. So far, we have received 50,000 new applications,” he said, adding that they had about 5,000 registered members. – The Star

No charges against two magazine reporters: AG

Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail has decided not to press charges against the two reporters who wrote an article about the church and Islam in a magazine.

He said taking stern action would not be in the interest of justice, peace and harmony at this particular time.

"I have previously decided similarly in other cases where the circumstances were quite similar involving other religions, under those circumstances taking serious action would not be in the interest of justice at that particular time," he said in a statement, here today.

He said a police report was lodged in respect of an article published in Majalah Al-Islam entitled "Tinjauan Al-Islam Dalam Gereja: Mencari Kesahihan Remaja Melayu Murtad" in its May 2009 issue.

"The police commenced investigation and submitted the investigation papers to my Chambers," he said.

Abdul Gani said the investigation revealed that the two reporters went into the Church of St. Anthony at Puduraya to verify allegations that Muslims were converted into Christianity and the use of the word "Allah."

"Their observations showed that such allegations were not true. In the church, they were given the white bread by the Pastor which they subsequently brought back to their office.

"It was further disclosed that they did not know the significance of the white bread. No disturbance was caused in the church. In fact, no one in the church was aware that they were Malays," he said.

Abdul Gani said the actions of the two reporters might have hurt the feelings of the people but he was satisfied that they did not intend to offend anyone and it was an act of sheer ignorance. - Bernama
