WILL NAJIB BECOME PRIME MINISTER OR ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI CONTINUE AS PRIME MINISTER

It is widely reported that Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak had secured 99.9% of the nominations and by UMNO Rules, will be the next President of UMNO and by convention the next Prime Minister of Malaysia.

But to assume these roles, Datuk Seri Najib would have to wait until March 2009.

There are also speculations that incumbent UMNO President and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi may continue to hold these positions until his term of office ends or when the confidence of the people is lost against him.

Why is the doubt?

Recent decisions on the Mongolian murder and the release of star witness Abdul Razak Baginda have given doubts whether Datuk Seri Najib will become Prime Minister since various statements and reports speaks otherwise.

Another factor is Money Politics is the recent UMNO meetings. Was Datuk Seri Najib involved in this act. From information available it indicates that Datuk Seri Najib must have used them to secure such a huge victory. Here when we say money politics it just not giving out cash to delegates. There are many other forms that we need to consider which everyone knows what I am speaking about.

If Datuk Seri Najib is found to have committed any of these acts, his nomination will fail and will be disqualified from contest.

Then the current incumbent will remain.

Why can't this happen?
