Riot police used tear gas to disperse thousands of of peaceful people marching to Istana Negara in protest of the use of English in the teaching of Mathematics and Science at 2.40pm today. This march was organised by GMP, known in its Malay name as Gerakan Mansuhkan PPSMI, is a coalition of 14 NGOs. and some of its pro-tem committee members include opposition politicians.

The crowd that commenced their march from Masjid Negara and when their approached Tun Sambanthan building the riot police began shooting tear gas at them. Many in the crowd ran away as the scene filled with smoke. It was revealed that the Federal Reserve unit trucks were initially stuck in traffic but caught up with the crowd and also started firing tear gas at this peaceful crowd.

The crowd are expected to regroup and return with their intention to submit a memorandum to the Yang DiPertuan Agong, that appeals for the return of the use of Bahasa Malaysia in the teaching of the two subjects be seriously considered.

At the meanwhile, police and FRU have thrown a safety perimeter at the Istana Negara to restraint any such submission of memorandum by the rakyat.

It is reported that many people including Opposition Members of Parliament have be laced with chemical water to prevent them from submitting or taking part in this peaceful march.

It was reported that the mother of the late A. Kugan had made a police report today identifying areas of discrepancies between the first post-mortem and second post-mortem reports, clearly showing that the police, Serdang Hospital and the Home Minister are all telling LIES.

From this episode it seems that the rakyat can NEVER expect proper investigation, fair justice or the real truth revealed.

AZALINA OTHMAN SAID'S POLITICAL SECRETARY QUIZZED BY MACC OFFICIALS FOR GRAFT

The Minister of Tourism, Datuk Sri Azalina Othman Said's political secretary have been identified as senior aide to an UMNO Minister who has been detained and quizzed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for alleged graft involving RM70,000 on Wednesday.

This former senior politician, was quizzed at midnight and released several hours later after his statement was recorded. Its believed as reported that he has been alleged to have received the money from someone but no further details were available.

Money politics is on the rise as the coming UMNO elections are just around the corner (March 24).

WILL THE SULTAN OF PERAK DISSOLVE STATE ASSEMBLY ?

Many prominent personalities have expressed or are requesting the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah to immediately intervene and correct his 'error in judgement' and DISSOLVE THE STATE ASSEMBLY to avoid further embarrassment and ridicule.

It had been reported that former Finance Minister and UMNO President contender, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, a Kelantan Prince, has requested the Sultan of Perak to use his wisdom and to take into consideration the aspiration of the Perakians, to pave the way for a fresh State elections to elect new lawmakers to overcome the present political turmoil faced in Perak and not to play along with UMNO who fear a disastrous defeat if a State elections is called now.

Former UN Special Rapporteur on the Independence of Judges and Lawyers and former Bar Council President, Param Cumarasamy described the present predicament face in Perak could easily be resolved rather than depending on unwanted court decisions which is irrelevant in this situation since the Sultan of Perak's subjects are demanding a snap State elections to overcome the current impasse.

It seems clear that Sultan Azlan Shah has no other choice but to DISSOLVE THE STATE ASSEMBLY as demanded by his subjects and his continued delay may not be beneficial for him and the Constitutional Monarchs in Malaysia.

PERAK STATE SECRETARY & PERAK POLICE OFFICIALS SHOW DISRESFECTFUL TO ELECTED LAWMAKERS, INDIRECTLY DISRESPECTFUL TO PERAK SULTAN & PERAKIANS

This act of refusing to allow these lawmakers is in direct disrespect on the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah, who is the supreme ruler of the State.

Its time for the State Secretary, Perak Chief Police Officer and the Ipoh District Police Officer be suspended until a independent public inquiry is undertaken. The Inquiry should comprise of ordinary credible Perakians.

Perakians are appealing to the Sultan of Perak to DISSOLVE THE STATE ASSEMBLY immediately so that a fresh State elections could be held, so as new lawmakers could be elected into office and this will end the political turmoil faced by Perak.

Will the Sultan of Perak consent to the request of his faithful subjects?

SPEAKER V. SIVAKUMAR'S' LAWYERS GOING TO IPOH HIGH COURT AGAIN

It had been revealed that the lawyers representing the Perak State Speaker, V. Sivakumar, Chan Kok Keong, Augustine Anthony, Tommy Thomas, and Phillip Koh Tong Ngee will attempt another bid to gain representation from the Ipoh High Court Judicial Commissioner Ridwan Ibrahim when he ruled yesterday that only the State Legal Adviser could represent the Speaker.

It had come to their knowledge that the Judicial Commissioner had erred in law and misinterpreted Article 132 (3) of the Federal Constitution, which clearly expresses that the Speaker is not part of the public services, and therefore he should be allowed to engage private lawyers.

Its time for Judicial Commissioner Ridwan Ibrahim to amend his errors and to follow the rule of law for those who seek fair justice, although it may be late.

SULTAN OF PERAK SHOULD IMMEDIATELY GRANT DISSOLUTION OF STATE ASSEMBLY TO AVOID FURTHER TURMOIL

The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Shah should use his wisdom to grant a dissolution of the State Assembly, paving a way for a State Elections as demanded by his subjects.

The continued refusal and 'listening' to UMNO would be detrimental to the Sultan and their position in the Constitution since the rakyat would not hesitate to make them mere puppets or turn Malaysia into a republic, making them powerless.

Sultan Azlan Shah, a former Lord President, being highly educated should understand the feelings of the Perakians who just want this turmoil to stop and the only manner this can come about is the DISSOLUTION OF THE STATE ASSEMBLY.

It is up to the respective political parties who can convince the majority to administer the State.

PERAK STATE SECRETARY & PERAK POLICE HAVE ABUSED THEIR POWERS

The drama that took place yesterday clearly shows that the Perak State Secretary and Perak police have gone beyond their duty to prevent elected lawmakers from entering the State Assembly to convene a legitimate State Assembly sitting for which procedures had been adhered to.

The attitude of the State Secretary and police to lock and barricade the entrance to the State Assembly clearly shows that they are just listening to the UMNO-led Barisan Nasional federal government who are just interested to securing absolute power by fraudulent tactics.

The most important question remains - the people want a SNAP STATE ELECTIONS to elect new lawmakers who will administer their constituents. That is what the State Assembly actual wanted to carry out since the Sultan of Perak seem adamant to listen to UMNO and refuse to allow a dissolution. It need to be noted here that UMNO and Barisan Nasional is fully aware that they would lose every single seat if a State Election is called now due to their unscrupulous tactics to wrest the State government by dubious means.

The time has come for the State Secretary and Police to give an explanation to the Perakians, as to why they had barred legally elected lawmakers from performing their duties.

The whole episode schemed by UMNO had turn out to be a failure since the Judicial Commissioner had erred in law, by not knowing the Constitution about Separation of Power, conflict of interest, about the term 'public officer' and the State Secretary had abused his position and authority by locking the State Assembly while the Police had also abused their power and wasted unnecessary public funds and time to condone the peaceful area.

All these branches of authorities would finally be answerable to the rakyat and at the next State Elections or a general elections, it will reveal the true circumstances.

IPOH HIGH COURT JUDICIAL COMMISSIONER RIDWAN IBRAHIM HAD ERRED IN LAW

The Ipoh High Court Judicial Commission Ridwan Ibrahim who heard the hearing to restrain Perak State Speaker V. Sivakumar from convening any unlawful meetings purporting to be state assemblies had actually ERRED IN LAW since he had demanded that the State Legal Advisor should represent him rather than his personal lawyers. The reasoning is that since at the Kuala Lumpur High Court in the suit between Datuk Seri Nizar and Datuk Zambry, the State Legal Advisor's seem to represent the 'illegal and dubious' Mentri Besar Datuk Zambry, so how can these government officials represent both sides - conflict of interest.

Judicial Commissioner Ridwan Ibrahim, who heard from lawyers on both sides in Chambers, made his decision under Section 44 of Specific Relief Act by granted an order to restrain Perak Speaker V. Sivakumar from convening any unlawful meetings purporting to be state assemblies but it was not retrospective.

Furthermore, if we were to look at section 24 in GOVERNMENT PROCEEDINGS ACT 1956 (REVISED 1988), the words used is "may", and not the word "shall" , which clearly means that it is optional, and the State Official can be represented by other lawyers of his personal choice.

The most important factor now need to be considered is that the State Assembly sitting had successfully been convened and decisions made and this case could just be considered OUT OF TIME and JUST ACADEMIC.

The time has come for these sort of bias Judicial Commissioners and Judicial Officers to be stripped off their academic qualifications and positions while punishing them to do ' public toilet cleaning' so that they will know how humiliating it is to go against the wishes of the rakyat.

These unscrupulous government officials need to realise as custodian of the rakyat they need to work within the confines of the Laws of Malaysia and not under UMNOputra LAWS.

PERAK STATE ASSEMBLY SITTING CONVENED AT CAR PARK NEAR STATE ASSEMBLY

It is reveal that the scheduled Emergency State Assembly sitting was convened 'successfully' at a car park just 50 metres under a rain-tree outside the State Assembly building which had been locked and barred by police personnel under the instructions of the UMNO-led Barisan Nasional federal government. The UMNO-led Barisan Nasional federal government fully knows that if the Emergency State Assembly sitting were held, their position would be detrimental since the sitting would resolve that the recent appointment of the 'dubious' Mentri Besar and his six Exco members from the Barisan Nasional would be illegal and their suspension upheld while confirm that PR Mentri Besar and his Exco members are the only legitimate State officials. The sitting would also resolve a SNAP STATE ELECTION to be made so that new lawmakers could be elected to hold office, which if held would mean disastrous for the Barisan Nasional coalition.

The Emergency State Assembly sitting commenced at 10.13am with the usual prayers and it was reported that Perak State Speaker V Sivakumar at 10.18am in full Speaker's robe chaired the sitting while about 300 people witness the Assembly sitting nearby.

The resolutions resolved were with ' setuju' (agree):

First : The first motion to express confidence on Datuk Seri Ir Nizar as the Perak Mentri Besar was tabled and passed;

Second: The second motion to dissolve the State Assembly was also mooted, debated and passed unanimously;

Third: The third motion was to adopt the decision of the Rights and Privileges Committee headed by Sivakumar to suspend Datuk Zambry and his six exco members, was tabled and passed.

At 10.30am, the speaker has adjourned the historic State Assembly meeting while Speaker Sivakumar will now have to present the motions to the Sultan of Perak for further action.

It seems now that the historical Emergency sitting of the Perak State Assembly had been convened lawfully, the UMNO-led Barisan Nasional federal government will face an uphill task of nullifying although it would use all its 'dubious tactics' to see that it is done since what had transpired would be very disastrous to them.

MOHD ZAHIR SERVES NOTICE TO REFER SIVAKUMAR TO RIGHTS & PRIVILEGES COMMITTEE

Mohd Zahir Abdul Khalid, a 'dubious' Perak State Executive Councillor (since he is from the BN fraction) and currently suspended, has served a Notice of Misconduct to State Assembly Speaker V. Sivakumar while referring him to the Rights and Privileges Committee for abusing his power to commit contempt of the House by disloyalty to the Sultan of Perak. Mohd Zahir was accompanied by his two lawyers to serve the said Notice this morning which was accepted by Sivakumar's political secretary A. Wasu at the Speaker’s office at 11am today.

Mean while, Sivakumar confirms that the Emergency State Assembly sitting will carry out as schedule despite these matters.

It is also learned that the 'dubious' BN Perak leaders will be filing a Injunction to stop Sivakumar from convening the State Assembly tomorrow.

Perak seems to be faced by a 'tsunami' and the only way to resolve this crisis is to hold a SNAP STATE ELECTIONS but BN fears that it will be detrimental to them and are avoiding such a situation to occur.

'UNPRECEDENTED FORCE' MAY BE USED TO STOP PERAK STATE ASSEMBLY SITTING ON TUESDAY

It seems that UMNO leaders are becoming very disturbed by the forthcoming Perak State Assembly sitting this coming Tuesday, which had been summoned by the Perak State Assembly Speaker V Sivakumar according to the powers conferred on him.

The State Assembly sitting had been called to re-confirm the actual Mentri Besar in power and his Executive Councillors and also to make a declaration to overcome the present turmoil, a State Election as demanded by the Perakians are convene so that a new State Administrative Members are elected as deem fit by the eligible voters.

But surprise to many, UMNO leaders are becoming vary since with the 'sudden power grab' by dubious means recently is expected to be disastrous and its predicted that every UMNO or Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate may even lose their deposit, clearly signalling the downfall of once 'powerful' UMNO or BN empire that had been made.

But another fear is that the State Assemblymen and State Assemblywomen may be prevented from attending the sitting by 'force' so as to disrupt the planned schedule. UMNOputras may even use 'force' to disrupt the sitting and as usual the police and Home Ministry will condone to their 'illegal' agenda by just pretending nothing is happening or allowing them to carry out the acts with their blessings.

The lawmakers will and should at any cost attend this sitting to course a 'new chart' in Perak history so as to show that the PEOPLES' POWER is SUPREME and not from the Palace, Police, Election Commission, MACC or from the unscrupulous and arrogant UMNO-led Barisan Nasional government who are just crazy for absolute power.

UNFAIR ACT BY POLICE AGAINST THOSE WHO WANTED TO MAKE POLICE REPORT ON HEALTH OF ISA DETAINEE

The Police had used chemical-laced water cannons to disperse a crowd of less than 300 Malaysian Indians who had called at the Brickfields Police Station in Kuala Lumpur to lodge a police report so that the Malaysian authorities will give due medical attention for the 'severe' diabetes illness faced by P Uthayakumar, a banned HINDRAF leader who had been arrested under the Internal Security Act (ISA) since 2007. It was further reported that 17 peaceful people had been arrested in connection this incident which included lawmakers and banned HINDRAF leaders.

What surprises Malaysians is to the fact that when UMNOputras had carried out illegal gatherings, protests or acts, the police had not used the same sort of force to disperse the incidence while the Home Minister and his officials had remained completely silent.

UMNO YOUTH 'ATTACK' ON MP KARPAL SINGH AT PARLIAMENT HOUSE DISGRACEFUL

The action done by UMNO Youth members at the lobby of Parliament House today at MP Karpal Singh is really disgraceful and having no respect for the law.

UMNO leaders will have to take stern action against its UMNO Youth for organising this disgraceful attack and the best solution would be to ban the Youth Movement until such time that UMNO youths learn to respect and obey the laws of the country.

Will the UMNO leadership BAN UMNO Youth or just keep play the same tune: 'UMNOputras can do anything nothing happens'.

UMNO need to realise that their days are numbered and it will not be long that they will face a total demise due to their uncaring, selfish, corrupted and arrogant behaviour.

'CORRECT..CORRECT..CORRECT' LINGAM VIDEO SCANDAL - 4 OUT OF 5 MATTERS 'NFA'

After a sensational and beyond expectation Inquiry case of Lingam Video scandal, which reveal how lawyer S.K. Lingam had been brokering judicial appointments using top personnel like Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Mansor, Tan Sri Vincent Tan and Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

With the full exposure of the video telephone conversation between S.K. Lingam and Tun Ahmad Fairuz Sheikh Abdul Halim on the plot of how this scandal had taken place.

During the inquiry, it was disclosed that Tun Eusoff Chin and his family had been 'holidaying together' with lawyer S.K. Lingam and family but facts were distorted with lies. Even Tun Dr Mahathir, the then Prime Minister claimed that he was 'unable to recall' circumstances to cover-up this scandal.

This 'high-handed cover-up' had seem to be predicted and with today's claim by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi through a written reply to Wee Choo Keong (PKR-Wangsa Maju) that the 3 of the cases were “deferred” to the Attorney-General’s Chambers, while one was marked “NFA” by the director of the legal and prosecution department in the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission. Details of which were NFA were not disclosed.

Its time the Malaysian public demand a fresh investigation by re-opening this scandal and punish everyone involved in this misuse of power and by tarnishing the good reputation of our country.

Until UMNO-led Barisan Nasional government is replaced, justice seeked would NEVER happen.

UMNO SEEKS LONDON QC ADVICE ON PERAK TUSSLE WHEN THERE ARE QUALIFIED LEGAL MALAYSIANS WHO CAN ADVISE THEM BETTER

It was reported that a Senior Constitutional UMNO lawyer has flown to London, United Kingdom today to seek advice from a leading Queen's Counsel (QC) on the matter pertaining to the Perak tussle where UMNO had conveniently 'hijacked' and toppled the legitimate Pakatan Rakyat Opposition government by using the Palace to appoint the UMNO-led Barisan Nasional lawmakers by using 'frogs' who have 'vacated' their seats through a pre-signed resignation letters as showing their support them when previously they had shown their support to the PR Opposition government.

The Perak State Assembly Speaker after the meeting of the Special Privileges Committee on last Wednesday had further decided to suspend the Sultan appointed Mentri Besar and his Exco Members from the Barisan Nasional for a period of 18 to 12 months respectively for their involvement in this illegal act of takeover subsequent to complaints received from lawmakers.

The surprising fact is when there are a number of highly qualified Malaysian legal intellectuals who would be in a better position than a foreign QC to advice, UMNO had embarked to waste public funds and time to get a similar result that their action was unconstitutional and that the State Assembly is the only avenue where a Mentri Besar can be removed if he does not tender his resignation through a vote of no-confidence. The Perak Sultan does not have the power to terminate a lawfully appointed Mentri Besar, taking into account in this scenario.

This clearly shows that UMNO is just trying to hoodwink the Malaysian public that they need to trust the 'thief' in this tussle.

'THIEF' ZAMBRY' CLAIMS SULTAN APPOINTED HIM MB BUT FAIL TO REALISE MB NIZAR HAS PEOPLE'S SUPPORT AND APPOINTED BY SULTAN TOO

Datuk Zambry Abdul Kadir, nicknamed 'thief' by a majority of Perakians has appealed to the people of Perak today to accept the Perak Ruler’s decision to appoint him as Mentri Besar but found himself cornered by the Perak State Speaker suspending him for 18 months a few days ago, making his appointment redundant.

But 'thief' Zambry fail to realise the Perakians want a SNAP STATE ELECTIONS to elect their lawmakers and Zambry can offer himself to contest but insiders believe that every Barisan Nasional candidate and himself would face a disastrous defeat and will even lose theirs/his deposit. In view of this revelation, the UMNO-led BN leadership is trying its best to avoid a State Election to avoid total embarrassment since the BN claims to be the PEOPLE'S CHAMPION.

The 'hijacking' of the Perak State Executive Council by using 'frogs' to show support had caused BN to lose confidence of the Perakians but also the whole nations and their unscrupulous action has now established that BN would resort any dirty tactics to topple legitimately appointment Opposition State governments to show their 'supremacy' by using government machinery and public funds.

Just giving statements alone would not assist BN any longer.

Its time for BN to give in to the wishes of Perakians and 'force' the Perak Sultan to dissolve the State Assembly, paving the way for a SNAP STATE ELECTIONS which will resolve the present State predicament.

MALAYSIAN ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION (MACC) 'BIAS'

Malaysians were actually very sceptical when the 'uncaring, useless, arrogant and corrupted UMNO-led Barisan Nasional federal government initiated the formation of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to replace the already ineffective and inefficient Anti-Corruption Agency (ACA) due to their authority.

Today the thoughts of Malaysians were actually revealed. While various important and old matters are still not attended to by the MACC, the MACC had ventured in collaborate with this 'unscrupulous' UMNO to undermine the Opposition leaders in their quest to 'materially' benefit from their position.

As far as Malaysians are concern, UMNO and Barisan Nasional have committed various serious crimes to the Malaysian society and this is camouflage by the investigating authority, whether Police, AG Chambers, Judiciary or the MACC.

The UMNO-led Barisan Nasional have been using public funds to meet their agenda and federal and State government officials of BN States have been misusing public funds to gain political mileage which is against the trust granted by the Malaysian rakyat to them.

Rather than taking immediate action against these officials, the MACC ventures to take action on Opposition leaders like Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, by claiming that they have strong evidence of abuse of authority and seem to collaborate with UMNO to 'fabricate' evidence.

The time has come for every Malaysian to voice their concern over the bias attitude undertaken by the MACC in their investigation and priority.

It seem the time has come for Malaysians to demand a SNAP GENERAL ELECTIONS to elect new and calibre leaders who can make Malaysia a proud , well-managed and rich nations.
