NEW CJ ZAKI COMMITS CRIME, SHOULD BE ARRESTED AND CHARGED IN COURT

The new Chief Justice Tan Sri Zaki Azmi who had been hurdled into this highest office in the judiciary due to his assistance for having been a loyal subject of the ruling party UMNO, was appointed despite various criticisms levelled against him from personal matters to political affiliation despite assurances from outgoing in March 2009 Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to reform the judiciary to the expectations of rakyat, Bar and the international legal community.

Yesterday it was reported in the New Straits Times that :

In an incident in 1987, where he was “blacklisted” when he complained to the Chief Registrar of two missing files belonging to his clients.

“It took me six months to be nice, to bribe each and every individual to get back into their good books before our files were being attended to.

“That was my personal experience, and I am telling this to all the clerks and all the registries to stop this nonsense and I know this is happening,” Zaki was quoted as saying.

This current disclosure by the Chief Justice Tan Sri Zaki clearly is an act of crime and the relevant authorities need to ARREST and CHARGE him in Court without any further delay. Since this crime is criminal, there is no time limitation been imposed.

It need to be expressed that to give and to take a bribe is a CRIME and no one should be spared since this admission. CJ Tan Sri Zaki would be compel to disclose the persons responsible for having taken the bribes so that justice could be effectively administered with no waste of public funds.

Finally, the truth reveals that our judiciary system is fully corrupt and dominated by the Executive, mainly from UMNO and as Stakeholders, the rakyat need to demand the government to immediately form a Royal Commission of Inquiry to investigate and create reforms to eradicate any fears that the rakyat have with the judiciary.

Its time for rakyat to elect the Judges since they serve and are remunerated by the rakyat. This will discard any form of favouritism.

Will the outgoing Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah heal to this public demand and ensure that CJ Tan Sri Zaki is arrested and charged for this bribery crime.

Compared to the other issues which should have prevented him from even being a judge, this bribery confession is lower down the list of why he should not be a judge (and definitely not the CJ)
