916 - TAKEOVER OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT - MAY NEED TO DEFER

Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim informed that he may have to defer his Sept 16 deadline to form a new Opposition government given the fact that the Barisan Nasional coalition had recently sent a large team of backbenchers to Taiwan on an purportedly 'agricultural study' trip.

But Datuk Anwar reaffirm that he has managed to obtain the required numbers and will topple the current Barisan Nasional government in the immediate due course.

Datuk Seri Anwar further quoted that he had information the members of parliament would not be allowed to return from Taiwan before Sept 16 in order to thwart his plans.

In the meantime, Malaysians are eagerly awaiting for a NEW DAWN to emerge so that a CHANGE could be seen.
