SAMY CLAIM THAT PM TO CONSIDER RELEASE OF HINDRAF 5 AN INSULT TO INDIANS

Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu claimed that he was assured that PM Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badwi would consider the MIC request on the release of Hindraf 5 now detained in Kamunting under ISA, is an insult to the Indian community since they are no longer a threat to national security while claiming to be one of the 'big brothers' of the ruling BN government but nothing could be done.

The Hindraf 5 had just voiced their concerns of their own race, Indians, who had been marginalised by the Malaysian policies and systems, which UMNO and other component parties are fully knowledgeable about but do not want to admit it.

What Datuk Seri Samy would eventual have to do, if immediate result need to be receive, is to quit from the BN coalition by giving PM Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi an ultimatum of 5 days to release or MIC will leave BN.

Looking at today's political scenario, the BN is already heading for disaster and if MIC, one of the fathers of Alliance then BN, would create history by being a concern party for the interest of Indians in Malaysia and only then the 'powerful' UMNO would seriously consider any request made by MIC.

The disastrous defeat of MIC candidates in the last March 8 general elections had shown MIC that the Indians are really 'fed-up' and frustrated with the lies and unkept' promises made by MIC and BN leaders towards the growth and progress of Indians in the Malaysian society.

Will MIC and Datuk Seri S Samy Vellu resign from BN now?
