DEFECTION....DEFECTION....DEFECTION.....IS THE WORD AROUND

Malaysiakini and various other websites have extensively reported that defection of Barisan Nasional Members of Parliament are about to happen before the schedule date indicated by PKR leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on 16 September 2008, which is also Malaysia Day.

Today it was reported that at least 40 BN MPs are likely to crossover which would sent a 'tsunami' shock to the BN and government leaders.

Recent reports that the Police Special Branch had been instructed to monitor the movement and report of any defection, clearly indicates that statements made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi cannot be relied upon or 'trusted'. There must be indication that a few BN MPs are going to cross-over since there seems to be a sense of instability in the ruling Barisan Nasional since the August 26 Permatang Pauh parlimentary by-elections and March 8 General Elections.

With double standards practiced by UMNO with regards to its own members while indirectly 'discriminating' members of its own coalition partners, the sense of a 'break-up' seems quite eminent and could happen anytime if UMNO does not change immediately its attitude and policies.

Malaysia has gained independence for almost 51 years and the people are fully aware of their rights and recent demands made had been treated 'harshly' by the establishment. UMNOputras seem to benefit from the system while deriving others who are also bumiputras of the same rights. This is the reason for the Opposition proposing that 'bumiputra' and NEP (New Economic Policy) should be immediately scrapped and give every Malaysian citizen equal opportunities.

Malaysians are eagerly awaiting for a new Opposition government to be formed so that Malaysia could advance at great speed with efficiency and good governance with a corrupt-free administration - A BEGINNING OF A NEW DAWN.

if there is really a thing like defection as claimed , i hope it will happen sooner before the court judgement is not in favor of DSAI.

if this so happen, will there be anyone esle to replace DSAI to push forward this plan??

i really have my doubts about it being so easy to change government just by defection because barbaric nationalists won't just sit around waiting to be oust out without their dirty tactics!!

the way i see a change is via freah general election again PROVIDED with Agung's Consent !! without it, bn will use ploice and malaysian red heads to go all out to make crazy arrests on these opposition leaders. that will be doom for rakyat malaysia.

thus, please find a back-up plan should anything goes wrong so that defection will be worthit for the rakyat .
